NBA PLAYERS WHO DISAPPEARED πΆβπ«οΈ: Micheal Carter-Williams
NBA players who suddenly disappeared. Back in 2013, Michael Carter Williams was seen as the next big thing. He was a tall point guard out of Syracuse who could run the floor, defend multiple positions, and rack up stats in a hurry. He went 11th overall to the Philadelphia 76ers, and at first he looked like a franchise cornerstone, dropping near triple doubles, and stuffing the stat sheet. He went on to win rookie of the year. But then things started to fall apart. Philly traded him midway through his second season because they were worried about his poor shooting, high turnovers, and his fit into their future. After that, he bounced around the league playing for Milwaukee, Chicago, Houston in Orlando, but never recovered.
