How does he Keep Getting Away with this??

How does he Keep Getting Away with this??

This man has done it again. Never let your GM negotiate with Danny A because this man continues to win draft after draft. Unless your GM is, of course, Jeff Peterson because then he’s going to win the trade. But other than that, nobody has been better than Danny A over these last two NBA drafts. I think he wins this year’s draft with guys like Hace Bailey and Walter Clayton Jr. last year. He brings in a guy that I was really high on in Cody Williams. Also Isaiah Kier and Kyle Filipowski who looked elite in the summer league. You add that on to the quarter that they already have led by Lowry Markin. They also have Keonte George and Walker Kesler. This looks like a squad forming in Utah. And first things first, I mean Ace Bailey at five. Are we kidding? That is an absolute steal. This is a top three player in a really, really good draft class. By the way, he’s definitely top three. He’s 6’9 with a 7 foot wingspan with the ability to shoot over anybody at any spot on the court. A true three-level scorer that averaged 17.6 points a game, 7.2 rebounds, 1.3 assists, a steal, and 1.3 blocks per game last year. Shot 46% from the field and 35% from three on four and a half attempts. He’s dangerous. He is a really, really good prospect. And he fell in the draft for whatever reason. But I mean, there were so many flashes, so many bright spots that you had to avoid to not take him at three or four if you’re the Sixers or Hornets. Like vers Indiana where he had 39 points, eight rebounds, four blocks, and a steal on 16 of 29 shooting from the field, four of eight from beyond the arc. And just looking at this game film, this is disgusting. Jab, step, pull up. Easy money right there in the mid-ost area. Look how much space he generates with that jab step and then gets right into the shot knocking it down. And then right exact same spot a little further in he’s just going to rise right up and knock it down because the defender is once again he’s expecting this jab step to come. He’s shading him to the left and Ace is just going to pull up. The high hand is not there in time and he knocks it down. Then getting downhill getting cut off but it doesn’t matter because he’s going to spin out of it and knock down a nice little fadeaway and then the step through right there. Just really nice stuff. This is bag work getting right to the rim. Too big, too good. Look at the handle. The cross one time and then crosses right back. Gets the defender slided. That is nasty. Gets right to the rim. One, two, and one. Right there. Could have been. Now working off the ball screen. And this is a ridiculously tough shot. But that’s what he does. He takes tough shots and he makes tough shots. Misdirected inverted step right there. Gets right downhill and finishes with the right hand. And then getting into his fadeaway bag right here. Knocking that down. Sprinting to the corner. Knocking down yet another three. Ace Bailey is filthy, dude. Like, look at this. This is a insanely difficult shot and he’s knocking it down. But I think maybe my favorite value for them was Walter Clayton. Picking him up with the 18th overall pick is going to end up being a really, really nice addition to this squad. I mean, just look at some of the shot making that he has. Reminds you of a young Steph Curry. 18.3 points a game, 4.2 assists, 3.7 rebounds, and 1.2 steals per game on 45% shooting from the field, 39% from three. on about eight attempts a game. 6’3, so solid size for an NBA point guard. I mean, that’s just a ridiculous shot to hit in the Elite 8. Coming off of the dribble handoff, even though it wasn’t really a dribble handoff, it was just a handoff. He comes off the pin down. Chad Baker Mazar is in full denial. It doesn’t matter. He’s still going to get to his spot and knock down this three ball over Janai Broom. And then coming off of the ball screen, getting to a spot. Look how far he drags out the defense right here. brings Broom all the way across the court with him and then just gets to his spot right here. He’s picking it out. Gets to his spot, rises up and knocks it down. Butter. And then in the half court here, quick little hesitation move. Gets right to the rim. That is filthy. Chasing him all over the court. He plays at such a quick pace that it’s almost impossible to stay in front. Splits the screen and gets Oh, that is filthy right there. Splits them. Gets right downhill and finishes with the right hand. It wasn’t even a screen. It was just two defenders. He goes right through him and then lays her at the rim. That is filthy right there. Just watching Walter Clayton Jr. is a beautiful thing. Then getting right to his spot. He didn’t have the most efficient summer league, but that’s fine. The Jazz won the draft and it wasn’t even really close. And then you bring in, you know, your class from last year, which I loved. I thought Cody Williams, and maybe this would have got me fired as an NBA GM, but I thought Cody Williams was a stud coming out of Colorado. And I think there is still plenty of time because he is a 6’8 wing with a 7’1 in wingspan that is going to be 20 years old next year turning 21 midseason. He’s going to be just fine. He averaged 4.6 points a game, 2.3 rebounds, 1.2 assist, and.5 steals and 21 minutes a game. And yes, the efficiency wasn’t great. 32% from the field, 26% from three. It was pretty horrible, actually. But I think he is going to be just fine. He was the 10th overall pick. I had him as like a top five prospect in last year’s class. I thought he was going to be really good and I still think he can be really good. There were flashes like knocking down the three ball. He just needs to put on a little bit of weight. He’s only 190 lbs, but his brother just won an NBA championship as the second option on that Thunder team that looks like it’s going to be a dynasty for years to come. I think Cody Williams is going to be perfectly fine in Utah given he has plenty of chances to develop. Now, as for Isaiah Kier, getting him with the 29th overall pick, I had him as a top 15 prospect in last year’s class, and it looks like he’s going to turn out pretty well. 8.7 points a game, 6.3 assists, and 3.3 rebounds in just 26 minutes a night, stuffing the stat sheet. The efficiency was far from fantastic, but it’s not like he’s the first rookie guard to ever struggle when it comes to efficiency, and he definitely won’t be the last, that’s for sure. getting to spots, hitting a little step back right there over the outstretched arms of the defender. And I mean, I think he is going to be just fine. 6’4, 6’5 wingspan, good build on him. Getting him at 29 was an absolute steal. And remember, he shot 34% from beyond the arc in college. I think he’s going to be just fine. I know I already said that four times. And then Kyle Filipowski, who looks like, at least in the summer league, looked like a stud. Now, I know it’s the summer league, so there’s not a lot to talk about there, but he was the summer league MVP this year. He’ll be just 22 years old coming into his second season out of Duke. They got him at pick 32, which is pretty good value there. 9.6 a game with six rebounds and two assists. Shot 50% from the field and 35% from three on 3.1 attempts. Little jab step into the three ball. He, like I said, averaged close to 30 a game in the summer league this year. He was dominant. So looking to hopefully transition some of that to the NBA level next year. And then looking at the Jazz overall, they had a solid core of 27 year olds coming into last season. Danny A only liked one of them. However, and it’s the guy that he seems to be holding hostage in Utah because he will not give him up. Even if he gets a King Ransom, he will not give up Lowry Markin. And I mean, there’s good reason behind that. He’s a 611 post that can operate like a guard on the perimeter and knock down the three ball. like they run him off of screens, catching and shooting off of pin downs. He averaged 19 a game with six boards, 1.5 assist, and point4 blocks. Kind of a down year, but it was so obvious that the Jazz were tanking. His efficiency wasn’t the best in the world. 42% from three or 42% from the field, excuse me, as a seven-footer is not good whatsoever. 35% from three. Large diet or a large portion of his shot diet were from beyond the ark. And we’ll see a lot of that continue. But for a guy that’s just going to be 27, he’s definitely going to be sticking around in Utah for quite some time as they come out the other side of this rebuild. And then you got Keonte George who will be 22 years old next season. And is coming off a year where he averaged almost 17 a game with 5.6 assists, 3.8 rebounds, 7 steals, and 31 minutes a game, shooting 39% from the field, and 34% from three on 7.6 attempts a night. Getting to spots like right here, moving without the ball and knocking down the corner three. The efficiency is just a big thing for him. You’ve also got Walker Kesler down low who will be 24 next year. Another guy that Danny Age seems to want a Kings ransom for, but he averaged 11 points, 12 rebounds, and 2.4 blocks in 30 minutes a game last year. So definitely a guy that you would like to keep around long term. A rim protecting rim running big that can catch lobs and stretch the floor vertically instead of sideline to sideline. And then finally, Bryce Sensible, who really came into his own last year in Utah. He is a really nice piece to this core in the long run. Shot 46% from the field and 42% from three on five attempts last year. He’s also got good size for a wing. I think that’s going to turn out as a pretty solid draft pick. Of course, coming out of Ohio State. With that being said, that’s going to be it for today’s video. Another recap of Danny A winning NBA drafts. 1. Huge miss on Matas draft pick IMO, he was best available and we passed on him. I think that set rebuild back another year.

  2. You forgot Taylor Hendricks who was a top ten pick, he had an awful injury last year, but I think he is going to come back strong this year. He already looks like he put on a lot of muscle.

  3. Dude I have to agree with you. I been telling Hornet fans they dropped the ball by not drafting ace Bailey

  4. Filipowski will replace Markennan eventually. They just need to get the right price for him. Angel is great at finding teams who are desperate.

  5. Dude, the Jazz are the laughing stock of the league. They will be the bottom of the barrel again this year. They have done nothing. They have drafted nobody. Success is a matter of wins. This is pure copium.

  6. Ace took the easy college option, played in a rubbish team with no pressure and won nothing.
Until he does something meaningful I don't care about him.

  7. What next to Washington Wizards after this season you're next video Backyard Buckets 😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀

  8. This franchise is no longer useful. It was useful in the 90s, but not anymore. There are too many competing teams, and it's a disservice to everyone.
