Golden State Warriors TRADING Jonathan Kuminga To The Miami Heat? | NBA Trade Rumors
So, could the Golden State Warriors be trading away Jonathan Kaminga to the Miami Heat this 2025 NBA offseason? Well, here on the screen is a trade proposal or a trade idea from fade awayworld.net. The link to this article is down below in case you want to go ahead and check it out for yourself. But this trade would see the Miami Heat receiving Jonathan Kaminga and the Golden State Warriors receiving Haimei Hakez, Terry Roier, a 2031 first, a 2027 second, and a 2031 second round draft pick. So, this trade idea is pretty intriguing to me because all signs point towards Jonathan Kaminga likely going to the Phoenix Suns or the Sacramento Kings if he were to get dealt this off seasonason. Now, it seems like the market on him is not maybe as lucrative as the Warriors were hoping for, but also to the Warriors are hoping to retain this guy, resign him to a contract, and kind of move on from this uh trade rumors that have been sparked more so from Kaminga and his camp. So, Kamika had himself a decent season last year. Uh, he has shown sort of, I guess, moments in the past of him potentially being like at some point a 20 point per game guy, maybe a fringe all-star player at some point. Now, if you were to go to this Heat team, it’s probably not what he’s looking for in regards to going to a team where he can be more maybe more of the focal point of the offense, um, carry the load offensively speaking because if you were to go to this Heat team, they want to make the playoffs now and they want to be a championship team. I mean, just sort of given how Eric Spolster coaches this roster and Pat Riley’s heat culture, he’s going to have to buy into more of a team system. And it seems like Kaminga at this point wants a change of scenery more so for himself to kind of prove a player he can be in the NBA uh compared to more so being a part of a winning team because he sort of has that in Golden State. And you can make the argument in my opinion that Golden State is a little bit more ahead uh than Miami. Now, if you were to go to this Miami team, he’d fit in pretty well, I would say. you know, having a back court of Tyler Herro and Kaminga as well as recently acquired Norman Powell and Bamabio, like that’s a really good group. They could be a playoff team next year and potentially one of the best teams in the Eastern Conference. So, it’s not a bad move from the Heat’s perspective as long as Kaminga buys in and and sort of understands his role on Miami. Now, from the Warriors perspective, I actually don’t mind this trade proposal. Like, for example, what the Suns are offering in my opinion is nowhere close to what the Warriors would be offering in this case like are getting it back in this case. Kaimi Hawkins, Terry Roier, two really solid players. I think both players could definitely fit into this Golden State system and be pretty important players in regards to putting some more depth up and down the lineup on this Warriors team. Getting back a 2031 first round draft pick, I think, is pretty important as well. Uh just because that first round draft pick, just sort of how this heat team could be heading in that direction uh six years from now, that could be a lottery pick and that could be a really good pick. And Warriors do a pretty good job drafting, throw in a couple second round draft picks as well to provide some more value. And truthfully, it’s a pretty good package in my opinion from the Warriors. So, for all those reasons, I think the winner of this deal to me would be the Golden State Warriors. Leave your thoughts.
