It’s clearly been his best season in the NBA and he’s clearly been the catalyst during this four-game winning streak which just very well may be the most efficient and effective week in Tyler Hero’s NBA career. He’s been consistent. Those deflections make a difference. Oh, pretty crossover dribble track to set up Pella Larson. That was artfully done by Tyler Heroes. Misses the three. First half action. Hero stops on a dime. Good execution there. And again, it feels like you’re down 30 and 16 is not a small deficit, but you’re still in this game if you’re Miami. See you hero bucket. Kyle Hero, you know, they’ve had their struggles, but he has been solid offensively for him here in this first half. Boy, how about the step he has taken this season. Hero to the bucket with a left. They haven’t had a problem scoring. They just cannot partner contain that guy. This is somebody like a Tai Jerome. And all of a sudden, off we go on another Miami Heat NBA playoff adventure. The corner three. It’s the most available shot for Bam in this series. A three-point early lead for a Heat team that’s only led in the first quarter through the first two games. Hero. Hero stepping for his first basket. And great footwork there. Lane now from Cleveland. It have been very impressive for the two top seeds so far in the playoffs. OKC in the west, Cleveland in the east, and Hero from the south. A big three for Tyler Hero. First triple today. Hero turns the corner, banks it in. They’ll need a lot more of that. Nine points for Tyler who’s averaged 27 a game in this series. Rebounded Hero on the miss from Donovan Mitchell who’s three for 13 today. Hero on the move and bounces in for Tyler. Tyler Hero now with 11 points in the games in the second half. Duncan maneuvers for an open three. Come on. Incredible. Five different counts with 20 points or more in this series. And again, knocks in a trouble. Hero in traffic. Gets the rebound for the Heat. [Music] Tyler finish. Good burst there. Able to get to the strong right hand. Goes high off the window there to prevent the shot from being blocked. And the rebound comes down to Tyler Hero. Had to settle down the Heat’s third offensive at bat. Their first shot. Kaboom. That makes you feel a lot better. Tyler Hero in game two went seven of 10 from three. Only scored 13 in in game three. He’s already got that now as Larson hits the short jump.
The 2024-2025 season was Tyler Herro’s best season so far in the NBA. Tyler Herro averaged 23.9 points with 5.2 rebounds and 5.5 assists per game.
