Johnny Juzang SIGNS With The Minnesota Timberwolves!
What up? It’s your boy Wall Street and I’m back. Thank you all for tuning in today to hear me go on my spiel about basketball. And I got some more news for you. The Minnesota Timberwolves are adding forward/guard Johnny Juang on a minimum one-year deal that is not guaranteed. Um, he will head to training camp with the Minnesota Timberwolves to prove that he deserves a roster spot. And I like this move by the Wolves. Um, Johnny Juang is a bucket in my opinion. Uh, he was a bucket at the college level at UCLA, uh, where he left after three seasons and he was not drafted in the 2022 NBA draft. He has been with the Utah Jazz for his entire NBA career thus far. He’s a 6’5, 226-lb guard/forward. And this is a guy who had his best year of his career last season. 8.9 points per game, excuse me, 2.9 rebounds, 85% from the free throw line, 37% from three, and 43% from the field in 64 games with 18 starts roughly 20 minutes a game. So, I personally think this is a guy that could develop into a very solid three-point scorer. I mean, he’s a guy that could shoot the mid-range, too, pretty well. He just doesn’t get the ball in his hands enough. So, I would imagine with Minnesota, he’s probably going to be a guy, if he does make the roster, is probably used pretty sparingly. Um, but it made sense for him to get out of Utah. I mean, they just drafted Ace Bailey, who’s, you know, basically going to play the same position as Johnny Juang. Um, I think Johnny Juang was just a guy that they picked up after the 2022 NBA draft when he went undrafted. Um, and they just wanted to pick him up to see if he would develop into something and he’s shown improvement every single year in Utah. He’s a guy that likes to be in the gym. He works hard. So, you know, this could be a this could be a home run for the Minnesota Timberwolves if it works out right. I think there is some room on that roster for a guy like Johnny Juang to, you know, show what he can do. Um, so we’ll see what happens, but Johnny Juang headed to the Minnesota Timberwolves on a one-year minimum deal, not guaranteed. He could wind up being, you know, uh, filling a two-way spot down the line if they have to cut him from, you know, the regular team and sign him that way. But I do think he’ll probably be on a team to start next season. But let me know what you guys think. Let me know what you think about this in the comments down below. G/F Johnny Juzang has signed a 1-year non-guaranteed deal with the Minnesota Timberwolves for the 2025-26 NBA Season!
Juzang spent the first 3 years of his NBA career with the Utah Jazz, a team which he joined after going undrafted in the 2022 NBA Draft coming out of UCLA.
Juzang shot 37.6% from 3PT range last year in 64 games for the Jazz.
