Insider Drops HUGE Warriors Trade Report…

An insider dropped a huge Warriors trade report and it’s something nobody saw coming. If you thought Jonathan Kaminga’s days in Golden State were numbered, think again. According to a bombshell new report from Tim Kawakami at the San Francisco Standard, sources inside Golden State have revealed a shocking decision that’s about to change everything. In today’s video, I’ll break it all down for you and the impact this is going to have on the Warriors offseason. So, welcome to Warriors Digest. Let’s get in here. I’m Arthur Baysteros. Hit subscribe right now if you want to stay in the loop with all the Warriors news, drama, whether it’s the off season from hell, regular season, whatever it is, we got you covered with all the news and analysis that you need. So, hit that button right now. It really helps the channel and thank you. All right, so let’s get to it here. So, here’s the deal. Despite all the noise, Tim Kawakami, Warriors insider from the San Francisco Standard, he’s confirming the Warriors are no longer looking to trade Kaminga this off season. All that trade talk, all the speculation, it’s gone, done, finished. At least that’s what we think here. Now, in his latest article that dropped today for the San Francisco Standard, he said that the Warriors are reportedly no longer exploring trade options this summer. Kaminga will remain with the team. Here’s exactly what Kawakami learned. He said, “The word I got when I checked in with a Warriors source on Sunday, Kaminga won’t be traded this summer. he’ll be back on the Warriors roster to start the season, and it’ll either come when he signs the Warriors offer or accepts the $7.9 million one-year qualifying offer. Now, the front office, led by Mike Dunle, of course, isn’t feeling any pressure to move quickly or to make a lopsided deal. In fact, apparently the vibe is the opposite internally. Uh they’re content with just waiting this thing out. There’s no pressure to trade Kaminga and it’s actually to retain him for the upcoming year to maximize his value down the line. They’re just not going to be rushed here. Now, that $7.9 million qualifying offer, that’s no small decision for Kaminga. It’s a last resort here. If Kaminga takes it, he becomes an unrestricted free agent next summer. That’s a pretty risky move there, though. if you know he gets another bad injury like that ankle sprain that he had the tail bone bruise towards the end of the year or you know if he ends up in Kerr’s doghouse his long-term earnings are going to take a massive hit. That’s why a lot of people around the league they’re calling it the nuclear option for him to take that qualifying offer. Now the deadline to make that call is going to be on August or excuse me October 1st. So technically we’ve got like two more months of limbo left. Yay. It’s a fun waiting game. Uh but you know right now Kaminga and his agent Aaron Turner, they’re the only ones who really know if he’s serious about going that route. I think that that’s a bad move. And the Warriors, they’re hoping that he isn’t just posturing. You know, they want to try to get a real plan of action here. And the Warriors definitely don’t want him signing that qualifying offer because they won’t be able to get as much trade value in return when they ultimately try to flip him before the deadline. You know, it’s going to be harder to trade a smaller salary like that for an impact player. So, the Warriors want him closer to that $22 million a year offer so they can get more value. But JK and his agent, they’re not into that. Now, according to ESPN, Kaminga’s agent, Aaron Turner, who you can see here, uh, he presented the Warriors a few frameworks during a couple of summer league meetings in Vegas, including a three-year deal worth around $82 million that allowed the Warriors to stay below the Second Apron to use the taxpayer mid-level exception, which is around $5.6 million in the upcoming year. The Warriors said hell no. They rejected it. They countered with the 2-year $45 million offer. Kaminga and Turner, they said nah, most likely because, you know, the Warriors were insisting on having a team option for the second season. They didn’t want to guarantee it. Also, they were unwilling to let him maintain the built-in no trade clause that’s in that contract according to the sources that leaked all this to ESPN. Now, keep in mind, Aaron Turner was in this exact situation representing Victor Oladipo a few years ago, and he convinced Victor to bet on himself, reject the Pacers extension, and signed for the qualifying offer, and then he promptly got traded to Houston and fired Turner. So, Turner kind of has a bad track record with this kind of stuff. But here’s where things get more layered here. The Warriors current offer includes a clause asking Kaminga to wave his no trade clause during the first year of the deal. A right that is typically granted to players in their first year of that deal. That tells you everything about the Warriors intentions. They want the option to move him later if needed, especially if the right high-end talent becomes available. You know, all of this is going to be about maximizing the roster around Steph, Jimmy, and Dre. Now, according to Sam Aik of The Atlantic, he wrote an article a couple of days ago. He was saying that the Sacramento Kings are the ones who are pushing the hardest to try to get a sign-in trade done. They reportedly offered Kaminga a three-year 63 million deal in a potential sign-in trade with Malik Monk and a protected first round pick going back to Golden State. This is what AMC had to say in that and kind of why the deal broke down. protections have been the primary sticking point. The Warriors insist that first rounder be unprotected, thus the stalemate. Now, we all know sack, they don’t have any money. They’re over the cap. So, they can’t just go and sign Kaminga outright to an offer sheet. They need to make a deal with the Warriors. And the Warriors, they haven’t heard a sign and trade offer yet that they’ve even seriously considered. They’re not interested in taking back bad contracts just to make it work. In fact, Tim Kakami brought brought this up in his article today where he was saying that the Warriors, according to his sources, they don’t want to include Moses Moody or Buddy Healed in any outgoing balance, you know, any package there to try to balance the salaries out to bring Malik Monk back. Now, Malik Monk, I mean, he’s a baller. He played 31 minutes a game last year for sacks. 17 points, almost four boards, about five and a half assists. Shot about 43% from the field. Free throw percentage not looking too great around 33%. I have been listening to a lot of podcasts where he has really been working on that over the past couple of years to get that up. But look at him. I mean, he’s 6’3. He’s uh another small player. Not something the Warriors necessarily need in return here. They need size again. They need defense, they need shooting, all of those things. Monk is a nice piece, but I mean, I don’t love this contract here. He’s on a 4-year, $77 million deal. He’s got $18 million upcoming this year, 20 million next year. It’s not an unrestricted free agent until the 2028 2029 season. Now, the Phoenix Suns, they’re another team that’s been mentioned, but sources say that the talks never got serious. Uh, the Warriors were never close to being tempted by what the Suns had to offer. Probably because their offer was terrible. It was reportedly Royce O’Neal, Nick Richards, and three second round picks. So, all of this makes one thing very clear. The Warriors, they’re not going to trade Kaminga unless they get exactly what they’re looking for. We all know that Joe Leica, the Warriors owner, is reportedly still really high on him and would rather keep him around than move him for anything short of a significant return. We know the Warriors, they said they want a young impact player and a first round pick. So to the Warriors front office, if that means starting the season with Kaminga as a lame duck under that qualifying offer, I mean, so be it. It’s not the best situation for the Warriors because they’re not going to have enough money, you know, on that deal to really flip him for something useful. But better than him walking, I guess. I don’t know. They’ll figure it out somewhere down the line. But now some might wonder, is all of this hard ball on both sides really worth it? Now for the Warriors, absolutely. Holding this line allows them to protect a nearly $22 million salary slot. And that’s crucial if they want to stay under the salary tax or excuse me, the luxury tax and still have flexibility to chase a big player down the road. Now, earlier today, this is where all of this Giannis stuff plays into it because there was a report from Chams that the Bucks and Giannis have had more conversations about his future and whether or not he’s going to stay there. So, excuse me. I think I’m dying. But hey, by the way, that’s why I’ve been gone for a long time. Sick, dying, whatever. But hey, I’m back. Uh anyway, so this is really interesting because Giannis engaging with the Bucks again, trying to gauge whether or not they really have a championship roster here. Rumors are starting to swirl again that he may want out. We all know the Warriors and Giannis have been linked together forever. So maybe the Warriors trying to save some of their assets here. Either way, the Warriors are digging in and they have all the leverage here. So maybe it’s not just posturing. Maybe they’re ready to go into the season with JK under a one-year deal knowing that they can revisit this trade market at the deadline when the picture around the league is just a little bit more clear. So, this is the long game and they’ve been setting it up all along, but it’s risky because if Kaminga takes that qualifying offer and walks next summer, obviously the Warriors get nothing in return. And that would be I mean the worstc case scenario for the Warriors who are still trying to squeeze out another title in Steph’s window. So I mean let’s be honest if you’re coming what would you do? Are you taking the partially guaranteed deal now? Are you rolling the dice? Taking the qualifying offer try to prove you’re worth it next summer? I want you to drop your thoughts in the comment right now. Put them down there in the comment section. If I were JK the first thing I’m doing is firing Aaron Turner. But yeah, I want to hear your thoughts here. So, here’s the final twist. Even though the Warriors say they’re done fielding trade calls, all of this could really just be a ploy to get the Kings to up their offer because uh we’ve seen some reports here today from Brett Seagull of Clutch Points that even if the Kings offered Malik Monk and took the protections off that first round pick, the Warriors still would reject it. The Warriors probably want something else in return from Zack like Keegan Murray who you know all of us Warriors fans have been really high on and excited about the potential of maybe making a deal there or Keon Ellis their young center there although I don’t think Sachs too excited about including him. Uh, but there were reports last week, I don’t know if you saw this or not, but those two names have reportedly not been mentioned at all in Warriors Kings trade talks, which seems pretty odd that the Warriors wouldn’t have brought them up because they’re basically the two most valuable pieces on the Kings right now. But we know this whole summer has been about both sides. The Warriors and Kaminga’s camp leaking info to the media to get an advantage here. So maybe that’s the case with this new article from Kawakami. The Warriors just trying to get the Kings to up their offer by saying, “No, we’re not listening to trade talks anymore.” Let me know your thoughts down in the comments. Um cuz I mean honestly, I think that we’re all sick of this situation. We want a resolution, but we don’t want the Warriors to get roped into a bad deal here. So, I want to hear your thoughts. Do you think it’s the right move to hold firm and try to get something done, keep Kaminga on the roster, and move on to next year, and hope you can get a better piece in the future there. I want to hear your thoughts. And if you’ve enjoyed this video, you to hit that like button, hit subscribe, because the story is far from over. myself, Randy Silver. We’re going to be keeping you updated all through the offseason here as all of this plays out. And hopefully we get some resolution. One of these days, I swear to you, one of these videos is going to be breaking news. Jonathan Kaminga signs or Jonathan Kaminga trade, whatever it is. One of these days is going to be that. But for now, this is the update. Apparently, Jonathan Kaminga not being traded. You let me know your thoughts down in the comments and I will talk to you tomorrow. Peace.

Insider Drops HUGE Warriors Trade Report… and it’s something nobody saw coming. You thought Jonathan Kuminga was on his way out of Golden State? Think again.

  1. Did you also hear that giannis isnt sure he wants to stay a buck. I mean i think giannis coming to the bay would feel like family comin home but thats just me

  2. Here is an insider report. Loseminga is a clown AND he is turning the GSW into a circus. The moron thought he had any leverage and was trying to bluff he would take the QO. They should take that 2 year deal off the table and offer less. No one is going to offer him a contract GSW has to match. Low ball the heck out of this clown. Enjoy the bench and watching your value tank Loseminga!

BTW: 2 year $45 million is a massive overpay for this loser

  3. IM SICK OF JK AND HE WAS DNP FOR A REASON,!?? THIS IS RIDICULOUS!!! PLEASE GET RID OF HIM CAN'T SHOOT CONSISTENTLY GETS OUT REBOUNDED BY PODS, TERRIBLE FOOTWORK CREATES TERRIBLE TURNOVERS….. HE'S ME ME ISO ISO THE BALL STICKS HE DOESN'T PASS THE BALL STICKS!!! HE THINKS HE SHOULD BE OPTION OVER STEPH AND JIMMY! HE WANTS TO BE A STAR AN ALL-STAR HES NOT TRYING TO BE TEAMMATE! HE'S SELFISH HIS ATTITUDE SUCKS is he Athletic yes can he don't 2 times a game yes but is that worth 30 million??? 😅😂 NO!!! 👎🏽

  4. Signing the two year deal is a bad move for Kuminga. The Warriors will send him where they can get the best deal. It could be a team that has a lot of forwards.

  5. Pretty sure Warriors are just posturing, trying to squeeze Sac for concessions.
JK loses trade value at the trade deadline.
Also shows the Warriors are the ones delaying this process, not Kuminga.

  6. For me, I feel bad for where the whole thing is playing out in the public. But since we cannot undo all those things, I think GSW just stick to targeting to get JK signed. May be GSW will be willing to add a trade kicker for JK to compensate for having to waive the no-trade clause and take away team-option for the 2nd year? I think that is what all this is leading toward.

With regards to Kings' offer, I think just name a price and leave it there. What an insist on a Keegan Murry-JK swap. I believe that is the cleanest with regards to the deal. May be not even need to ask for a pick. Kings will say no but that is what it takes.

  7. The Kings want younger players on their roster, so why give up Ellis or Murray for Kuminga. Plus, DeRozen may be traded next summer, freeing money for Kuminga.

  8. If i’m JK im betting on myself. The fuss alone reveals JK’s true worth. The only reason more Warriors have leverage because the CBA has crippled the market -for now.

  9. Why do you act like we dumb.

How can Dubs have all the leverage in one sentence then the next say JK can sign the QO and the Dubs get nothing.

JK has all the leverafe because he can signvwhatever he wants. Dubs have to wait on JK.

What if Dubs pull the sign n trade opportunity and JK does not sign the QO at all?

Who you think has the leverage anf who you think looses?

Come next summer ge is a URFA whether he signs the QO or not unless he signs an offer sheet which dubs cant match.

Nite the later is highly likely as a number of teams can offer him sub 30 for 2 years.

If Wizzards of JK 28 Dubs can only match if

    1. The can sign n trade him
    2. Willing to pay lux tax or
    3. Trade Jimmy or Dray.

  10. Sheesh he is the one with oladipo camp ouch for JK honestly if in business stand of point he sign one year 7.9 million well im the owner let him sit entire season rather than playing him it will just like during poole last year in warriors uniform…it will be chaotic of course the situation of poole and jk are different but the impact in actual game will be the same…give JK remaining minutes to other warriors players that can play the system better….

  11. Warriors organization is next level!

Their coach doesn't believe he can win with JK, but they are in no rush to trade him.

They want to trade him for value, but their fave coach has been devaluing JK.

They want to trade him for value, but all signs show he might just sign the QO on October 1st.

They've just frozen their whole free agency because of some 'valueless ' bench player. How exactly are they planning on maximizing Steph's last years with this level of buffoonery?

  12. Can we fire Steve Kerr and Dunleavy. They’re incompetent. Lots of opportunities in free agency that got wasted.

  13. Gsw is so wrong for the way they treat their players. Why would high level talent want to work with this tragedy of a front office? Ran a prime KD out of the door, allowed draymond to punch their future away with Poole, couldn’t develop wiseman or moody, signed a 36 year old jimmy butler over kuminga who they held and refused to trade when his value was literally the highest it could be and now he can walk for nothing. Btw he is going to sign that QO. He would rather get the same amount of DNP’s he got this season for next season then allow gsw to have the ability to trade him anywhere, which we all know they will do. Everyone can see this play out in real time and it looks so bad for the organization.

  14. Pulling the trade “options” means Kuminga has to now actually put his money where his mouth is about “betting on himself”. Trying to leverage the warriors for more money via public trade threats isn’t “betting on yourself”. Because having no offers means you haven’t done enough for anyone to “take that bet” yet meaning you haven’t shown anything. Warriors have to do this going forward if you want to set your culture around petulant, underperforming wanna be “all stars”.

  15. Fire Aaron Turner, then sign the 2yr 45 mil JK, then go ball out next year and win another ring then you can call your own price!!!

  16. If I was JK, I will have a heart to heart talk with Steph, Dray and Jimmy. Their advice will be key. Draymond will probably say things like he sees them. The big three can almost guarantee his rotation and minutes. Depending on what they say, he can stay enough to help with Giannis trade or stay forever. You want this three on your side because I see them with a lot of power and influence not just now but in the future. Someone like Draymond is likely to be a coach or front office guy someday. The only thing worse than lowball is blackball in the league. frankly, it's really difficult, almost impossible to beat the house without great skills.

  17. The warriors have already messed with his money. Unless Kerr screws him, JK taking the QO will be the best thing for his career and it would help the warriors

  18. Nothing to break down…nothing has changed…Kuminga still there and warriors have not signed any free agents lol

  19. Trust on yourself and talent. Take the QO and find a team in free Agency that'll maximise your talent. Kerr clearly doesn't like JK

  20. He had a value beginning of The season when the nets wanted him for cam Johnson and should’ve been pulled it

  21. It is a bad move, Kuminga won't put his hard in the game, because possible injuries.a waste of time for the team and Kuminga. Who got screwed SC and JB and the possibility of winning a title. Guys, sell your warriors tickets for next season …. many strong and interesting teams.

  22. This whole situation is horrible. Steve Kerr caused all of this. The messed up part is now the Warriors holding Kuminga hostage even though they don't really want him. Steve Kerr didn't want to play him. Warriors organization doesn't want to pay him the money he wants….. n they don't want to trade him. This shit is extremely dumb. Kuminga coming back to the Warriors n signing the Qualifying offer is bad for both parties. Yes Kuminga can probably boost his value n possibly earn a bigger contract in the future. However, after what Steve Kerr has shown, he's gonna continue to not play Kuminga. Also, if he takes the Qualifying offer thats him only taking 7.5 million meaning if Warriors want to trade him mid season they gonna get less back than wat they asking 4 now.

  23. Trade kuminga to Utah for a legit center. Or replace Kerr . Ex Nuggets coach, ex suns coach or ex nicks coach are better replacement

  24. If JK stays with GS he will be The Man in 3 years, He is only 22 ? or so. He would be the Star and just be 25. He is very talented and worth keeping unless he is just a rotten personality and a bad stink in the locker room. Wish he had some foresight
