De’aran Fox’s new deal shouldn’t be a problem for the Spurs. Not at least for a while. You see, if you’re wondering when the decision-making has to happen about their main core, it’s going to be the summer heading into the 2029 season. Having three max contracts on your books isn’t really fun for roster construction with this new CBA. So, that is going to be the point where they have to decide to either keep one of De’Aran Fox, Stefon Castle, or Dylan Harper. But, I mean, that is three seasons away, and they still have all their draft capital. The Spurs are kind of perfectly set up. Like I would be more concerned about Jeremy Sohan’s deal than any of these guys’ deals.
