Golden State Warriors TRADE Brandin Podziemski To The Utah Jazz? | NBA Trade Rumors
So, could the Golden State Warriors be trading away Brandon Podzmski to the Utah Jazz this 2025 NBA off season? Well, here on the screen is a trade proposal or a trade idea from fadeawayorld.net. The link to this article is down below in case you want to go ahead and check it out for yourself, but this trade would see the Utah Jazz receiving Brandon Podzky, a 2028 first and a 2031 first round pick, and the Golden State Warriors receiving Walker Kesler. So, this trade is intriguing because the Walker Kesler has been talked about in regards to trade rumors for quite some time now. The Utah Jazz are still a rebuilding team and despite the fact that Walker Kesler is a 24year-old getting better each and every season, it does have promise uh to potentially be one of the better centers in all of basketball, they can still get back quite a bit for him. And just sort of given the direction of this Utah Jazz’s franchise, it might be in their best interest to acquire some more draft capital, some more younger talent, and build around your team that way. take more of an OKC approach uh when it comes to rebuilding your roster. Now, so I think in that in that regard, the Utah Jazz receiving Brandon Padzmsky, who maybe his values a little bit overstated compared to what he brings to the table, but he’s still a pretty good young player that could perhaps thrive with a change of scenery. I think if Pods were to go to this Utah Jazz team, have some more minutes, and be a more focal point of the offense, like that could be a good thing for him. maybe his value increases and kind of what the Utah Jazz have done a really good job the last couple years. It’s accumulating talent for maybe a bit of a discount and maybe having those guys play pretty well and then flipping them later on for a much larger haul. So that’s just good asset management 101 to me and this could be another example here in this situation for pods going to Utah. But also too if you’re the Utah Jazz acquiring a first round pick in 2028 as well as 2031 from the Golden State Warriors has to be sort of the cherry on top here. This Warriors team is still really good, but their roster is quite old. There’s a pretty good chance that by maybe not by the time 2028 rolls around, but you know, by the time 2031 rolls around, the Warriors look drastically different. They’re not as good as a team, and that draft pick could be a lottery steal for them uh later on. So, uh this is a really good trade, I think, personally, uh from the Jazz’s perspective. Now, from the Warriors perspective, I like it as well because you want to win a championship now. Uh Draymond Green, Jimmy Butler, Steph Curry are quite up there in age, and their timeline to win a championship isn’t going to last much longer. So why not insulate this team with a little bit more youth with a legitimate presence at the center position, make the starting lineup a little bit deeper, and make your team better in the short term? So I respect this trade for both sides. If I had to pick a winner, I’m actually probably going to go with the Golden State Warriors just because it’s more of a s a sure thing and fits the timeline a little bit better for them. But as always, leave your thoughts.
