Is Eurobasket a good idea for Lauri Markkanen?
Jazz fans need to be paying attention to Euro Basket. Here’s why. Hoopser show. [Music] All right, guys. Like always, like the video, subscribe to the channel, and watch to the end. It helps out a lot. Okay, so Lowry Markin and the news is out is going to be joining the Finland Euro basket team again. It looks like when you go to the schedule, at least if Google’s being accurate, if people still use Google these days, but anyways, on Euro Basket, it looks like those games are going to start at the end of August. So, we’ll actually have some basketball to watch here soon. and and a lot of Jazz fans favorite player Lowry Markin is going to be with the Finland national team playing in Eurob Basket. I think this is a big deal for a lot of reasons. One, it’s going to be fun because I miss watching basketball. I’m already missing summer league. Cannot wait till preseason. So, Euro Basket is going to be a nice tied tide me over until preseason starts. But beyond just wanting to watch Lowry Markin play, this is actually really huge. I don’t care what anyone says. Lowry Markin had a bad year last year. Yes, he was trying new things. Yes, he was around a supporting cast that wasn’t very good. But if you’re making max money, you need to rise above those things. That’s why you’re paid max money. You put up money. You put up numbers regardless of who’s around you. That’s what max money is for. That’s what he should do. And you know, Lowry still put up numbers. They just were very inefficient. What’s going to be nice about Euro Basket, and it kind of reminds me of when Utah traded for Lowry Markin the first time, is he had a breakout Euro basket year, season, whatever you call it, was phenomenal. And then he came into to that Jazz season and Utah was way better than everyone expected. I think that’s a situation Utah Jazz fans should look for. Can Lowry Markin dominate in Euro basket this year? My guess is yes. I think he has a chance to go there. I think this is a great opportunity for Markin who shot 34% from three last year. Not good. Can he go into Euro basket, find a groove, find what makes him so valuable and so good again and bring that back to the Jazz this upcoming season? I think this is actually perfect. This is everything you want. Whether you want to have Lowry Markin on the Jazz long-term playing as a core piece of the future or if you want to trade him, if he plays well, it helps with both scenarios because you know that he’s worth the money if you keep him. And if he plays extremely well and and other teams are watching, I mean, it’s going to be the only thing on. You can bet there’s going to be some teams watching. And if Lowry Markin plays fantastic, then other teams will know that last year was more of a uh just kind of a blip on the radar, a down year. It wasn’t the norm that if he comes into this season, it will be much better. And it just just helps everyone, right? In fact, this is in some ways perfect for Utah. They get to see Lowry Markin play. Can he do what he does? It’ll be nice to see. Guys, that’s all I got tonight. I think that’s going to be important. We’re going to have to watch Euro Basket Games, watch Lowry Market, and like the video, subscribe to the channel.

Nope. Its part of the deal.
Laat he played he made the all star game didn't he
"News is out." This has been known for a year, if not years. There was never a chance he wouldn't play in this tournament, especially as the group stage is played in Finland.
Keep an eye out for Miikka Muurinen (Finland) whilst watching these games! He could fit the Jazz timeline and Lauri can be a gateway for Utah to bring him to Slat Lake.
My bet would be that he will come waaaaaayy better than last year. He is super hungry for sucess in eurobasket with the Finnish national team.
