Number zero is approaching cursed jersey number territory for the Milwaukee Bucks. Somehow it wasn’t until 2010 where the Bucks got their first number zero in franchise history and Drew Gooden. Not a bad player, but he only lasted three seasons in Milwaukee and was injured half the time. Then after a three-year break, Gary Payton II became the second Buck to wear the number zero. That seems like a good thing this year. It’ll be his 10th NBA season. Watching his debut, I thought he was going to be a steal for the Bucks, but he only lasted 18 games in Milwaukee. Then they brought in Xavier Munford who lasted six games in Milwaukee, followed by Trayvon Duval, who lasted for three. Once Duval was gone, that cleared way for Dante Dvenenzo to change his number from number nine to number zero. And again, that seems like a good thing. He won a championship in Milwaukee, but he got injured a few games into that run. No Buck wearing the number zero has made it past 10 playoff games in a season. Then Marjan Boamp wore the number zero for one year before switching to the number three, and he obviously got traded last year. They even tried to bring in one of the most notable number zeros in Damen Lillard and that didn’t pan out. He barely got any playoff time with Giannis and his Bucks career ended by tearing his Achilles. Now he’s gone and replacing him in the number zero is Kyokusma.

  1. Brain rot nonsense by a fake fan. You’re just implying causation for false narratives. There is no analysis here. By your logic every number besides the ones that get retired are “cursed.”
