I Pitched NEW Jerseys To The Chicago Bulls!

I Pitched NEW Jerseys To The Chicago Bulls!

This is me about to pitch the Chicago Bulls on my designs for their new 2026 statement edition jerseys. I have not seen an NBA team do this. Yeah, I think you might actually have something going with this one. But first, I need to explain how I got here. I have been making videos about jerseys on YouTube for almost a decade now. And there is a rumor that the Chicago Bulls are going to be debuting a new statement jersey this year. So, I’m going to be heading out to Chicago to pitch the Bulls on some of my ideas. I decided to work on five jersey ideas. The first being a red twist on last year’s design with a new Gothic tech. But before I show you the rest, we need to go to Chicago. All right, so we’re walking over to the facility now and it is raining like crazy. Not a great start to the day, but I wasn’t going to let the rain stop me and we headed inside. We met with Camille, the head of creators, and he gave us a tour of the Bull’s facilities. So, welcome to the Bull’s office. If you look out this way, that’s the actual stadium itself. So, we’re inside the office part. Across from us is the actual arena. The entire Bull’s office is covered in team themed art pieces from around the world as well as nods to the history of the franchise. This is super sick. This wall here, but these are literally off of old floorboards. So, this is literally a cutout from the actual stadium. What’s cool is that these are like legitimate shoe marks. So, like from the ’90s, this is it stayed from this long. The goat might have stepped on this. He did. Like, it’s not even like he did. He won three championships on this floor. These are refurbished from the Chicago stadium. I’m I’m known to break chairs. Oh, maybe I stand up so I can fully blame you if it breaks. There we go. See, we’re good. Imagine if it just shattered. I wouldn’t know what to do. Some of my favorites from the office included this completed case of Bulls themed hats made by local artists. I like this little like cartoon look. The Bull’s logo painted over hundreds of basketballs and these hoops. This is so viby. Supposedly four exist. But oddly enough, maybe the coolest part was this hallway. All right, so this is a really cool part of the office. We won six championships. I’m very curious if people in the comments can figure this out. They’re placed in specific areas from that year. I’ll try to spoil one. If I’m not mistaken, 91 was versus the Lakers. That’s the Swiss hands layup. I think I think that’s why it’s by the paint. Maybe. Maybe one of these to kick out. I’m not going to reveal anymore. We got to leave it to the comments. We see them going. This is probably I would say this is probably the easiest. The easiest is 98. 96. I’m not wellversed enough on the Chicago Bulls lore. Not going to reveal it. All right. put them in the comments. Let’s see. Yeah, let’s see if anyone can go six for six. And with the office tour finished, it was time to meet Jimmy, a designer of the new Bulls statement edition jerseys. How we going, guys? There he is. James, nice to meet you. Let’s get it. Jimmy is a designer for the Chicago Bulls. Later in this video, he will be reviewing the jerseys that I designed to see if the team would be interested in any of them. But first, we’re going to go to the Bulls locker room to see the never-before-seen 2025 Bulls statement edition uniform. And we’re going to get to learn about earlier iterations of the jersey along with some fun facts about the final product that you might not notice. The actual making of a jersey. There’s so much that goes into it that the average fan won’t see. It’s a multi-year process with rounds of edits and a bunch of people’s opinions and and takes put into it. So, it’s behind these doors. Yes. So, we’re about to go to the locker room to see the new jersey for the first time. I’m super excited. Low key, this feels like I’m entering like a bull’s spa. Like there’s like a vi I feel like I’m in like a sauna room right now. Yeah, this is awesome. This is what the players see every game. Wow. Inside locker room, you’ll notice a very special jersey that is unreleased jersey that is going to be announced. I love the red pin stripes. We really wanted the red to be loud and vibrant. We’ve had this idea for a couple years. Went through approval processes. just started going through a couple different concepts. Ultimately, we kind of get it down to one or two really strong designs. This is ultimately the one we landed on. The color pops and looks incredible on this new jersey, but I was really curious what it looked like in earlier versions. I have like a lot of like little weird questions. How do you guys decide like small things like the sizing between like the pinstripes and stuff? That’s a great question. The exact distance between each, we really wanted to replicate the ’90s, so that was an easy one for us. The interesting part about that was though to get the reflective on our last one, we actually had to make the stripes a little thicker. We just wanted to flip the black to red on this one. When they sent us the first model, the red was much thicker on the first version that we got to the point where it didn’t replicate that jersey as much we wanted to. And one interesting tidbit to the jersey is that it’s actually not a black jersey. It’s actually a red jersey that they print the black onto. So, it’s a red base that they end up printing black onto to uh get those stripes. So, it’s really black stripes in a way. You can look at it. Does zebra white with black stripes or black with white stripes? That’s kind of the question. So, yeah. James, this would actually be really cool. So, this is actually legitimate, ready to be worn kind of a jersey. I think you should be one of the first to actually wear it. I would love that. Before you though, yeah, I never got to actually throw it on. like you don’t think you’re like a good enough model for like when you’re like concept. You know, I’m I’m a couple years out of my prime, but you know, maybe I should throw it on and get out there and show uh show the staff what I got. Maybe I can earn a locker in this spot, you know? So, I’m one of the first people to put on the new jersey. This is hype. I think it looks absolutely incredible. Before we went upstairs for me to pitch what could be the next great Chicago Bulls jersey, the team offered to let me have a photo shoot in the new one and hooked me up with some merch from the new set. Oh, I like it. It’s on the hoodie. That’s dope. The jersey is absolutely insane. I’m pretty excited. You know, for me, being able to design a jersey would be like a dream. So, I’m going to show you some mock-ups of jerseys I made for the Bulls, and you can kind of tell me maybe if they were something similar to you guys had at one point or how it might be. Yeah, of course. Uh, can’t wait to see it. But we’ll see if it can stack up against the the new stage. And so, we headed upstairs for the big moment. Boom. Boom. I was like, wait for it. I prepared five jerseys for you. My first design, a super simple take on the statement jersey with the team logo incorporated into the word mark. Pretty simple. I know you guys were bringing back the statement, so I figured it was going to be black with pinstripes, so I went black pinstripes. And I I don’t know why. I just thought it’d be cool to incorporate the horns into the bulls. Pretty close on brand with the the rest of the stuff. The piping actually kind of resembles one of our our older black jerseys, the D- Rose era. Um, but overall, I like it. It’s a It’s a mix of our our current uh statement look with the the gray pinstripes, but uh yeah, the the text is different. My next one, a take on the new blue color the team uses from time to time in their city jerseys. Know you guys have been incorporating the blue, so I figured I would do my own take on it. Yeah. No, this is a this is an interesting one. It’s got a little graffiti. Um you know, it actually reminds me a little bit of of Indiana’s current city edition. I think one thing if I was to give you some feedback here, I think it would really come full circle in a almost city like if you were to be able to bring some of the red in. If you were going to like start with this design, where would you put the red in out of curiosity? You know, I think there’s an opportunity for it um as like a stroke around the white on the number. Just the subtle red around the white could be cool. The next was the one I made in the intro. And honestly, this is my personal favorite of the five that I’ve made. A little bit more typewriter old school. Yeah, I think you might actually have something going with this one. Uh I really like the rep of the pin strips. Do actually like the uh the font on this one. It’s giving me a little bit of a vintage a vintage feel and it’s kind of reminding me of the ’90s theme and uh actually it’s got a little gothic to it. So I have a weird really weird question. How do you guys decide when it’s going to say Chicago and when it’s going to say Bulls? We wanted to to represent the actual city of Chicago rather than just Bulls. So that’s kind of our thought process throughout. Um and that’s actually one of the other changes that you’ll see. Um, well, not see this year. It’s actually something that we had with our previous one. All right, next one. I think this might be the crazy one. We have got a neon lights one. I have not seen an NBA team do this. Okay, neon lights. Is this not possible with the printing technology to do some sort of I was going to ask you, is this uh is this supposed to be a print effect or will this be a battery charged jersey where we’re going to get some actual neon lights going on it? I mean, it’ be first of its kind. It would be. And they did tease some cool jersey technology a couple years back. Never say never, but I think there’s probably some rules and regulations around uh light up jerseys and distraction to the opponents potentially. Last one’s just a remix of another one cuz I figured with the new statement, it was going to be black, so I figured I’d make a black version of the red one. I love the eye for design. I think uh the couple that you’ve shown with pinstripes have been uh you know, reflections of what we’re going for this year. Jimmy, thank you for your time, man. Appreciate it. Thank you for coming in. I hope you like what you saw and uh you know, your jersey designs are great. Maybe an NBA team will take yours one time for a city or statement. Let’s go. Let’s go.
