Celtics Trade Georges Niang To Jazz For RJ Luis Jr
Yo, what’s going on, guys? And today we’ll be talking about the trade that just happened. RJ Lewis, a defensiveminded with some scoring ability out of St. John’s, played at UMass, is now being traded from Utah to the Boston Celtics for George Nang and two second round picks. Look, George Niang broke into the NBA as a Utah Jazz. Now RJ Lewis goes to Boston where it seemingly is going to be a gap here. Rasham Shirania broke the news. George Nian goes to Utah and his salary is going to be used in that massive John Collins trade exception along with the two draft assets. This moves allows the Celtics to have more relief as they continue to try to get below the first apron as they’re already under the the second apron with this move. So this move gets them fully under the second apron and gives them a team with RJ Lewis, Jason Tatum out for the season, Jaylen Brown, Derek White, Anthony Simons, who they’re still trying to move. And if they can dump him somewhere, then they’ll be able to potentially get out of the first apron as well and avoid the repeater tax. Sam Hower, now Payton Pritchard, Hugh Gonzalez, Baylor Shyman, Xavier Tilman, Luca Garza, Josh Mina, Nas Kada, Jordan Walsh, and then they have Hayden Gray on what seems to be an exhibit deal probably competing for a two-way spot with Max Schulga and Miles Norris making up the two other spots. We know they’re taking the gap year to take RJ Lewis, who really played good for St. John’s. Then he got benched during the tournament. And look, that was more of him in a coaching dispute. him and Rick Patino just like look it it’s what happens. I interviewed him. If you guys want to go check out my interview, go to hooptype.com. Now for Utah, they get themselves George Nang who this team could be a sneaky playing team. Larry Markin, Joseph Nerkage, they have themselves. Kyle Anderson, Amari, not Amari, my apology, Ace Bailey, KJ Martin, Taylor Hendris, Cody Williams, Walker Kesler, look Kee George, Kevin Love, Wal Clay, Syu, Kyle Philpowski, Bryce Censa, Isaiah Kier, and EJ Hark was on a two-way. like this is guys that really could help this either, you know, for the Jazz. They have a lot of shooting now. They’re a lot taller than they were in years past. So, to me, I think that’s like one of the biggest things to take from this is that this team really put together a squad with a lot of size and shooting, which maybe defense might be a struggle, but this team’s going to be putting up a lot of threes. And I I like that. I like that a lot for this team. So, I want to hear your guys’ thoughts in the comments section. What do you guys think of this? This is a great deal. Utah gets assets and an expiring contract, and Boston gets a guy to see if he can be a potential role rotational role player down the road in their gap year. I like the idea of RJ Lewis and him in a Boston Celtics jersey is going to look good. All right. I like it and I think there’s going to be some growing pains this coming year, but people have to understand that what’s going to happen this season is going to help this team out for the long run. So, if there was anything else you guys would have liked to have heard, let me hear your thoughts down below in the comments section. What do you guys think and why? But yeah, definitely a cool one to see George Nan go home. And I hope he wears 31 again so people don’t have to worry about, you know, getting a new jersey. Maybe they can just get their ones replaced. By the way, Utah is acquiring George Niang, as we mentioned earlier in that John Collins trade exception, which was $26.6 $6 million. The Celtics tax bill drops from 73.1 million to 30.4 million with this deal and they’re now just $10.2 million below the second apron and $1.7 million over the first. So, shout out them for doing that and shout out Bobby Marks for that information. If you made it to the end of the video, hit that like and subscribe button. It’ll mean the world. And yeah, I I think that would like literally just wrap up everything else that I had to say. And if you guys had maybe a point you guys wanted me to touch on, let me know and we’ll talk about it in a future video. Cheers.

Boston good pick up
Utah traded 2 seconds to move up for Walter Clayton Jr. Now, they get 2 seconds for trading a two-way player.
Recouping assets by using their trade exception. Not bad.
Utah fan? Came here as a Celtics fan, nice video!
