Who has more durability, MJ or LeBron

Who has more durability, MJ or LeBron

Who are you choosing to lead your friend all the time? But 20 years you really from a business perspective to lead you and all that stuff. I’m choosing Brian. I get 20 years. We got one sensible 20 years. You got 20 years. Now if you can tell Jordan to rewind back and say, “Hey, there’s going to be a guy that’s going to put up 20 years.” Do that. No, but what I’m saying is there’s going to be a kid that’s going to put up 20 years, right? And he’s going to break the scoring record. Now go. He’s not retiring ever. Yeah. Yeah. He’s not going to retire going at at 40 he averaged 20. Missed two years, came back, averaged 20. He missed a year and a half, came back, won three straight championships. There’s not out of the out of the out of the something years he played nine. He played 82 games. That’s a if though. 82 games. We’re talking about during the years where he was getting closlined. Yeah. 82 games. Yeah. So when we’re talking about durability, hey, listen. There’s a guy that’s coming. So, you have to put 20 years. Now, no one’s touching it cuz he was he was playing 80 games. Guar you if you add the three more years, you’re guaranteed 80 games out of out of out of Jordan. That’s one thing that you can look at his resume and say, you played every game. Yeah. Like, there’s no during an era where they were the most physical. So now you got an era where there’s nobody physical like that. Oh my. I mean it’s so I got to I got to I got to take what I seen here and take all the elements right and then say here no physical no defense they can’t clothesline you stopping you. What made Jordan Jordan? He didn’t have a reference to follow. He was the best player on I think to be magic though. What I’m saying he’s the he was considered the best player ever by his second championship. So from there he just down like it’s not like like LeBron’s chasing someone. So he’s like I still got to keep playing. The other one already got the crown of the best ever before he had 18,000 points. He was considered the best player to ever touch this game. and his work ethic to the point where you you’re talking about Jimmy Butler was on this now you got Jimmy put Jimmy Butler and the um Kobe’s mentality with Russell Westbrook put them together that’s Michael Jordan’s in practice game seven all day every

In this video, Gilbert Arenas shares why he would choose Michael Jordan over LeBron James if he were to own an NBA team. According to Arenas, Jordan’s durability, leadership, and ability to thrive in a far more physical era give him the edge even though LeBron has played for over 20 seasons. He points out how MJ consistently played all 82 games in multiple seasons, something rare in today’s NBA. Arenas emphasizes that Jordan’s era demanded more toughness and endurance, making him the ultimate franchise cornerstone.

  1. The fact that he has not plead in the league for over 20 years and he is still spoken of speaks volumes. There will never be another MJ. It’s just not gonna happen. His sneakers are more popular now than ever. Let’s see if we’re still talking about LeBron 20 years after he retires. I highly doubt it.

  2. Gil's argument falls flat with Kobe Bryant's entrance to the league and the fact that MJ's excellence came from obsession (meaning if he got bored and found another obsession, he would easily move on).

  3. Tired of all this what if ism lol. Its bron durability and the reality of an over 20 year career. We cant be giving guys credit for things that never happen. Gil is young . mikes dad died also he forgetting reality and human emotion. Mike had his time and made different choices. Its lebron by a mile at this point.

  4. Mike is taking this conversation personally 😤. There’s no debate. Mike is the greatest of all time. F load management. Dude, was playing all 82 and winning championships.

  5. I don't care how many years LeBron plays he ain't touching Mike, Mike ain't have to hook up with a superteam , Mike had that killer instinct as a rookie, Mike never lost in the finals , I don't care who's playing 20 years MIKE IS THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME, NOW DON'T GET ME WRONG BRON IS A GREAT PLAYER BUT KOBE WAS BETTER THAN BRON , 20 YEARS AND YOU STILL AINT CAUGHT MIKE, PERIOD, COMA, QUOTATION MARKS, WHATEVER WORKS FOR YOU,, HE AINT TOUCHING MIKE, FIRST IT WAS RINGS HE FOUND OUT THAT WASN'T HAPPENING, NOW IT'S LONGEVITY, NOW FORGET THE 90'S STOP IT‼️✌🏽🖐🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽HAVE A BLESSED DAY AND NIGHT 🌃🌉

  6. I will take Jordan 100%. He made the Chicago Bulls a 3 Billion Dollar Franchise + 6 titles. Even if LeBron played 20+ years. Anywhere Jordan play the stadium sold out. Good luck picking LeBron if he stay more than 10 yrs with your franchise. By the way LeBron is my top 30 😂

  7. when lebron retires…. nobody is gonna where his shoes😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 people hardly wear them now 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

  8. Gil will give you a series of some of the worst or most insulting fucking takes you’ve ever heard in your life and then to reel you back in he’ll drop a gem like this 😂😂😂

  9. people really need to stop trying to put James on Micheal's level, he's not there in so many ways.

sure, he has 20 years, how many games is he averaging? It's not 82 is it? It's not 80.

We are talking about man who drops to his knees and cries to the heavens like he got shot when a 6' nothing guard brushes his non-shooting hand.

Comparing it to man who got clotheslined and brutalized every single game, and STILL played 82.

There is no comparison here. Zero.

If Larry played the way James does, he could have played 20 too, but he cared about the game, and the team and his teammates, so he gave his all every night. Not just in the box score, but on the floor in effort.

James is not in that class of player, he has stats, but he's not that guy. never has been , never will be.

  10. Ppl act like LeBron wasn’t getting grabbed, choked, or hard foul, of course he’s not gone get close lined because he’s 6’9 260, did magic ever get close lined? Bird? Wilt? Like stop this notion

  11. If you take an 18-year-old MJ and an 18-year-old LeBron and drop them in as rookies in TODAY’s* game… with the mentalities and mindsets they grew up with, I’m taking Michael Jordan all day every day.
You give him the technology and statistical analysis and medical treatment and high-quality nutrition and comfortable luxury travel and rested schedule these guys get today, and you combine that with MJ’s focus and intensity?

You’d get a guy who would do everything LeBron gets credit for doing in his career, but he would beat LeBron every single time.
Unless they were on the same team, LeBron would have zero rings… Just like Charles Barkley, just like Karl Malone and John Stockton, just like Patrick Ewing and John Starks… unless MJ is dropped into a crappy team and LeBron gets dumped into a team full of Hall of Famers (like Magic Johnson was), Michael puts more butts in seats and eyeballs on TVs and wins more games and brings more championships to your city than LeBron.

When it comes to WINNING and business, not just for himself and the team, but for the city and even for the country’s economy as a whole, the impact MJ made was exponentially more than LeBron… in about half the time.

The country and the world needed someone as mentally and physically tough and singularly-focused on winning as Michael Jordan… LeBron James has never ever EVER been that guy.
    Impressively athletic? Yes.
    Talented? Arguably.

A CHAMPION at heart? Nope. He’s always had to defer to others for that quality.
Michael Jeffrey Jordan WAS that quality, and that’s the quality you build your franchise and your brand around.

  12. Give me MJ and if I can’t go with him Give me Kobe that’s it. 20 years I’m good with them boiz everyone else I’ll scratch my head about lol😂

  13. There would be no LeBron without Jordan. From a business pov. Mj has his own brand which LeBron is sponsored by. That should say it all.

  14. Mike was never worried about the scoring totals, he left the game and Malone past him right up with Kareem still being ahead. Had Jordan not got hurt his second year and not retired after the first 3peat then he would’ve passed Kareem easily. Jordan was chasing Bill Russell’s 11, but the unfortunate passing of his father changed his coarse

  15. When jordan retired, lebron didn't have the record.
    Kareem had the scoring record.
If Jordan had it in him to do that, he would have been chasing kareem's record.
If he's the goat, as you say he is, don't say he didn't have it in him to chase kareem.
    Jordan had someone to chase.
    ( Kareem Abdul Jabbar)

  16. I agree with Spencer"s take. You get 20yrs with Bron. I noticed how Gil goes straight to hypotheticals for Jordan. "If Jordan had known this type of player was coming to the league" stop it Gilbert. It's obvious that Gil still buy Jordans.
