Are The Hawks Trading Trae Young?
The Atlanta Hawks put in all this work building a great roster around Trey Young just to possibly lose him next year. And you know what? The Hawks deserve a ton of credit for what they’ve done this off seasonason. After seeing how open the Eastern Conference is going to be due to injuries, they did everything they could to bring in talent that best fits their star player Trey Young. Chris Abs Porzingis, if healthy, could have an all-star season. Luke Canard is able to open the floor and provides great shooting. and then Tequille Alexander Walker who’s a true 3 and D guy. But even after going allin on this roster, the Hawks still aren’t convinced that Trey Young is their guy moving forward. As other players like De’aran Fox begin to receive contract extensions, word came out Trey Young hasn’t been offered anything yet, which could really mean one of two things. The Hawks might be waiting to pay Trey until they see that he works well with this roster and can be the future of the franchise. or both parties realize Trey can just deny the extension, have a wildly successful year, and then get paid even more money, whether it’s with the Hawks or

Its a serviceable roster without trey, they have dyson and NAW both could run point, they’ll have some money too to either improve the bench backcourt because kobe bufkin aint cutting it or get a better starting pg and keep the 2 gaurd rotation the way it is but either way dont sleep

He’s a big liability on half the court being his defense, he’s 6ft tall and can’t guard a guy if they were in a phone booth, they have to play a zone defense to help him out but even then if they can get an average sized guard on him that has an average handle he will be on some randoms highlights, he’s on an ayo dusumo highlight tape twice im pretty sure
they didn't do everything they could. they traded 1 first round pick and a backup for an injury prone center and a sf who can't shoot. they deserve all the flack and will be the reason trae leeaves.
