The Bipolar Giannis Trade Update | NBA News Recap

The Bipolar Giannis Trade Update | NBA News Recap

Full honesty, Giannis is still top five. Finding Giannis. Oh, and even myself, a weird kid that reports the news every day, forgot about the Giannis situation. Well, today, yeah, he is still considering moving on from the Milwaukee Bucks. He still could actually leave. Like, it’s not a joke anymore of like, you know what, guys, maybe I will leave or insert Greek accent. he genuinely might leave and it’s there’s nothing set in stone. So, Bucks fans, I truly am sorry. You’re not 100% safe yet. Genuinely, with Dame gone, I I really do think Giannis will be moving on from the Bucks this off season. Almost 72% sure there’s still nothing set in stone about whether Giannis into Kmpo will stay in Milwaukee or whether he will be leaving. And so he’s continuing to evaluate his future. The constant question that Giannis has though is can I win a championship with this roster? Is this roster going to be one for this upcoming year and 2026 27? He wants to win a second championship. Dear Fox has uh a lot of money now, a lot a disgusting $229 million contract extension with the San Antonio Spurs. And if you if you just don’t really pay attention to him, you should. De’Arren Fox is just nearing that real big star level and he is going to be the perfect guy to just compliment WBY, Dylan Harper, stuff. Jeez, the Spurs are actually stacked now. Like they’re they’re very good. They’re very good. And the Spurs are going to be good for a long time. We all know how good Fox is. Looking for Winyama. Nice denial by Kegan, but Vel ripped by Swiper. One possession game, however, popped. Fourth quarter. Finally, this is over. I’m so done talking about Jonathan Kaminga. Like, okay, so he isn’t going anywhere this off season. Apparently, the Warriors didn’t they don’t plan to trade him at all. Okay, he’s he’s going to be on the Warriors roster starting this season, maybe midseason. But for now, Kaminga will be playing for the Golden State Warriors. Just suck it up for a little bit. Take it. Take your playing time as much as you can get and just keep dunking. Drive in there. Dunk it. Play was fading there, but okay, rumor alert. Who doesn’t love a good rumor? The Lakers are apparently going after Malik Monk in a hypothetical trade with they would send Rui Hachimura a 2031 first round pick and a 2032 second round pick. And I think it’s perfect for the Lakers. They should. I I love Roy like sick name Roy Hachimura. Super cool name. But Malik Monk is genuinely an amazing player. Amazing from the three-point line. Couple of big steps for Dearan Fox. Count it or rather scoop. Oh with the rip. Took his lunch. Oh in transition. He immediately attacks the basket. But that’s what Malik is going to do right here. Joel just has to hang it up. It it’s it’s genuinely like sad at this point. It’s not his fault at all. I mean, it’s just a It’s just unlucky. Apparently, Joel Embiid has struggled getting back on the court this off season. And there’s a big concern he won’t even be ready for training camp. He it it’s just it’s not fair to him. He’s had a great career, MVP, resurrected a franchise. Like Joelle, just trust me, you can go and you will be remembered for a very long time. Remembered longer than me, you know? Well, that that that’s a great start for now until I get big. But yeah, has created this margin for the miss off the backboard, but he’s holding on to that left knee. That’s the first dunk that he’s had. And you look at his eyes and there’s concern now. Thank you so much for watching. NOT SAFE
The Greek Freak is still considering moving on from the Milwaukee Bucks.
ESPN’s Shams Charania reported Monday on “Get Up” that Giannis Antetokounmpo is in the midst of “very real conversations over the last week or so,” and that there is “nothing set in stone” about whether he’ll stay with the Bucks or leave Milwaukee this offseason.

Foxxy!
De’Aaron Fox has agreed to a four-year, $229 million contract extension with the Spurs, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania, as San Antonio continues to revamp its roster with sights set on building a bona fide contender around ascendant superstar big man Victor Wembanyama. The new deal will keep Fox under contract with San Antonio through the 2029-30 season.

Who Cares Anymore

Jonathan Kuminga reportedly isn’t going anywhere this offseason.
Per the San Francisco Standard’s Tim Kawakami, the Golden State Warriors don’t plan to trade Kuminga this summer and he’ll be on the team’s roster to star the season. Kawakami noted that Kuminga’s pathways back to the Warriors are to accept the team’s offer or to take the $7.9 million qualifying offer that Golden State extended to him.

RUMOR PATROL!
Los Angeles Lakers Receive: Malik Monk
Sacramento Kings Receive: Rui Hachimura, 2031 Los Angeles Lakers first-round pick, 2032 Los Angeles Lakers second-round pick
On paper, the numbers line up. Monk is entering the second year of his four-year, $77.9 million contract, which pays him $18.7 million in 2025-26, nearly identical to Rui Hachimura’s $18.2 million salary. From a cap standpoint, the trade is feasible. But the implications stretch beyond just money.
