Demarcus Cousins, don’t get me wrong, I love what you did for Sacramento, but saying your jerseys should be retired with the franchise is kind of insane. I mean, just look at the legends in the rafters, bro. You aren’t better than one-time all-star Vlad Devox, 1960s legend Jack Twimman, and another one-time all-star in Sam Lacy. I’m not going to lie, I said that as a joke, but after researching these older players, they genuinely deserve to be here more than Boogie. Because besides Cousins maybe being the best center in the league for a year or two, the only thing he really did was score 56 points, put up more empty stats, and get thrown out of games. And of course, you can blame part of that on the Kings since they are such a dysfunctional, garbage franchise. Had they properly built around Boogie, I’m sure they could have been a great team. Like I’d understand if you said De’Arren Fox deserves to be in the Raptors because of his crazy numbers and the way he brought the team out of that playoff drought, but honestly I don’t think Fox, Boogie, Vlad, even Oscar Robertson deserve to be hanging in the rafters. Instead, it should be one giant key on Ellis

    In 7 years he never had a season over .500, and never made the playoffs. The best he did was 39 wins in a season. That doesn’t deserve retirement

    I hate how fans blame wins on one player like this isn’t a team game. No one in the league besides LeBron could have dragged the kings to the playoffs. Even despite the lack of wins boogie was in mvp runnings for multiple years. Definitely deserves to have his jersey retired

    I'm once again saying, American sport/league thing with jersey retirement is weird compared to rest of the world, like you can do good 1-2 season with a team and everyone like "retire his jersey retire his jersey" and in this case, it's the player that yelling "retire mine retire mine"

    I get the “king’s standards” are low (making the playoffs is a big deal) but Demarcus cousin never a franchise leader and always stayed below 10th seed

    Boogie literally other than Big O had the best numbers and put fans in the stands when lets be honest those teams were ass besides boogie he carried them and stayed when really he should have left then they traded him

    Saying Oscar Robertson shouldn't be on the rafters is crazy. He's one of the best pgs oat. Respect the fact that he's had over 180 tds and respect that era of play. Btw boogie should probably be up there on the rafters to.
