All right, fam. So, if y’all don’t know just yet, the Washington Mystics ended up trading with the Sun, right? Trading with the Sun. And they traded Aaliyah Edwards for JCS Sheldon. JC Sheldon. Yes, y’all heard me, man. They gave Aaliyah Edwards up for JC Sheldon. Now, I’m not going to hold you. JC Sheldon, she’s having a pretty good season shooting the ball, right? She’s shooting pretty well. I think she’s shooting like 40 40 something from the field, 40 from the three. She’s doing pretty decent, man. I give it to her. It’s pretty good. But my thing is, you you gave up a promising forward. A promising Ford who’s in her second year, right? You gave her a for another guard. The reason is confusing to me, man, let’s look at the roster. All right, you got Georgia Amore who will be back next year, right? Then you got Citron, a guard that can shoot and play defense, right? Um I mean Melbourne, she’s okay. She can get a little wild. Her shot selection can get a little while. Um her driving to the to the basket can get a little while, but she can get she can get the job done majority of the time. she can get the job done. Right. Jason uh uh my bad, not Jason Shel, Lucy Olsen, another guard that can shoot the ball, right? Then you got Sudden, another guard that could shoot the ball. So, where is JC Sheldon coming in? Is she taking Lucy Olsen’s spot? She taking her minutes? Where is she coming in at? That’s what I’m confused on. Where is she coming in at? Now, if anything, I would have tried to upgrade my stretch five. That’s what I would have tried to do because that would have added a little more dynamics to your team. Stephanie uh Stephanie Doulson, I mean, she’s a stretch five, but she hasn’t been performing that well. Look at her. 25% from the three this season. That’s what I would have been looking for in my opinion. And instead of doing that, y’all actually add another player where I feel like y’all had enough at I don’t even know why y’all got rid of Britney Sykes. What are y’all doing? I I just I don’t know. The Mystics I think at this point they’re just trying to They’re trying to tank. I think at this point they’re just trying to tank, man. They must don’t feel like they can make it into the playoffs. I mean, they are right there to fight for that eighth spot. Yeah, it it’s crazy work, man. That’s crazy work. You literally gave up Aaliyah Edwards, fam. If that was the case, man, y’all should have just drafted Angel Reese if you didn’t want her. You should have just drafted Angel Ree. What in the world? But yeah, they ended up getting JCS Sheldon, y’all. JC Sheldon. Now, mind you, let me show y’all how Aaliyah Edwards was performing right now. Of course, it got low in these games because look at the minutes. Look at the minutes she was playing. 73. I mean, not even giving her a chance to breathe on the court. My goodness. Right? But look at these games where she got 14, 12, 16, 17, 18, even 10. Right? This one wasn’t that good. Right? We can say that wasn’t that good. I mean, she shoots the mid-range, so it’s not that bad, but wasn’t that good. 33%. All right, cool. Cool. You can say that she took care of the free throw line. Cool. Give her a bad game if you want to on that one. But let’s look at this one. 62% 13 points, three rebounds when you give her some minutes. Nine and three shooting 75% when you give her 12 minutes. Six and six shooting 60%. When you give us 16 minutes with two blocks, by the way, with two blocks. When you give us a minutes, eight points, three rebounds, one steel, and a block and shooting 57% when you give us a minutes. Come on, man. Like I stated, as soon as everybody started talking about, oh, Aaliyah Edwards can be in the trade rumor, oh yeah, they’re picking Kiki over Aaliyah. I said, “Man, I don’t know why y’all are rooting for that. That is a dumb move if you let Aaliyah Edwards go.” Dumb move, man. Dumb move. And then they gave her to the Sun. I mean, the Sun, they can’t do anything with her. Honestly, if I was if I was Indiana, I would try to go ahead and see if I can come up off a Turner. I would see I would see right now if I can come up off a Turner. I mean, the Sun, they’re not doing anything. They’re not doing anything and they’re not trying to actually make it to the playoffs. You might as well take one for the team for me. Take one for the team for me, son. Right. Go ahead. Hey, give us a little Edwards. You go ahead and take Turner off of our hands. We’ll use Edwards. We’ll use her. We’ll use Edwards. Absolutely. Absolutely. We’ll use Edwards. And she helps with rebounding. I’ll take her, man. I’ll take her. Why not? If we can’t get anybody else, let’s go get Aaliyah Edwards. Let’s do it. I’m with it all the way. And now it might be some that want to say, well, you know what? They’re adding defense to the back court. I guess, man, I mean, if you look at the advance, right, let’s let’s get a little nerdy here. All right, if you look at it, her offensive rating is a 93, defensive rating is a 111. All right, with a negative 18 net rating, fam. A negative 18 net rating. Now, I mean, if you feel like this is providing more defense, then hey, to each his own, but fam, it could work out. Players go to different spots and start performing well. I mean, we see the first game with Dja. So, I mean, hey, you know, now granted, I don’t think it was a smart move, but it’s definitely possible for players to go to different teams and actually outperform or outshine where they previously were, right? So, we’ll see. We’ll see. But honestly, yeah, I probably would have went a different route, man. And you even have some people who understand that this wasn’t a good trade, man. Look, no. Why would we do this? What the f? Mystic sadly are trying to tank this season. They don’t want to make the playoffs to get better position in the next draft. Sad for the fans. This trade is ridiculous. F you dumb B. Oh my goodness. Sell the team. Dang. Y’all couldn’t send her to Dallas to play with Paige. Oh, wait. Kurt and Chris don’t know how a team should really work. Y’all did her so dirty sending her to Connecticut. I agree, man. Connecticut. Y’all dare wrong for this. Didn’t even get my signature yet, man. Oh man. Heartbroken. Should have drafted Angel.
