NBA Drops Preseason & Christmas Schedule! Knicks Bringing Back VINTAGE 90’s Jerseys | Knicks News

We finally have some updates on the Knicks preseason schedule. Also, the Knicks are planning to bring back a classic jersey next season. We’re going to break down all of these latest reports today. We may be in August, but soon it’ll be September, and then shortly after that, it’ll be the start of training camp. And then before you know it, it’ll be pre-season basketball. And speaking about preseason basketball, the Knicks preseason schedule just recently dropped. Now, I want to make sure I clarify something here before we get started. The Knicks normally play four or five preseason games each and every year. In 2023, 2024, they only played four preseason games. Last year, they ended up playing five preseason games. So, right now we have four preseason games listed for next season. There still could be a change where the NBA adds another preseason game to the Knicks schedule, but more or less, this is what the Knicks preseason schedule is going to look like. Shout out to New York basketball and NBA.com for giving us this following information here. According to them, update the Knicks preseason schedule from what we know so far. This is Eastern time as well on October 2nd, that’s a Thursday, 12 PM, it’ll be the Knicks versus the Philadelphia 76ers in Abu Dhabi. And then on October 4th, Saturday, 11:00 a.m., it’ll be the Knicks taking on the 76ers once again in Abu Dhabi. And then shortly after that, the Knicks come back to New York City where they take on the Minnesota Timberwolves at 7 PM Eastern time on October 9th, which is a Thursday. And then what looks like the Knicks final preseason game, but that’s still to be determined. That’s going to be on October 13th. That’s on Monday at 7:30 p.m. Eastern time against the Washington Wizards in New York City. Something tells me that just because the Knicks are going to Abu Dhabi and then coming back, they’re only playing games in New York. They’re not playing any away games. So, that potentially means there could be one more game left on the Knicks preseason schedule that we just don’t know about yet. However, once we get that information, I’ll be sure to cover it for you guys. The Knicks preseason schedule wasn’t the only thing the NBA dropped today. According to ESPN Sham Shirania, he just reported the following. NBA Christmas Day 2025 on ABC and ESPN. And here are the games that are going to be played on that day. Cleveland against the New York Knicks, the Spurs against the Thunder, the Rockets against the Lakers, the Mavericks against the Warriors, and the Timberwolves against the Nuggets. And we have to mention again when it’s going to be the Cleveland Cavaliers against the New York Knicks, it’s going to be a Christmas at MSG because the game will be at the Garden. But what’s also exciting is the Knicks are bringing back a vintage classic for next season. It’s their ‘9s era jersey, and I can’t wait for it to start debuting. According to them, the New York Knicks are bringing back their classic ’90s white New York jerseys featuring the original bluesided panels. Exclusive first look at Jaylen Brunson in the new City Edition Hardwood Classics, Swingman Uniform. And if you’re asking me, this jersey is an absolute throwback. I love it. I love the way it looks. It is so nostalgic. I remember I used to tell you guys on the live streams, I used to watch Knicks games when I was very young with my father, rest in peace, but when he was alive, we used to watch Knicks games. And when we did, I always remember that Jersey way. that jersey edition. It is the classics, the vintage, one of the best Knicks jerseys that has ever been created. And now we get an updated remixed version of that same edition for next season. I am going to be running out the door once these jerseys are available and trying to get my hands on one of them. I definitely want a Brunson one. I may want an OG and an Obi one. And you never know, I might go out there and get myself a Carl Anthony Towns version. But either way, I’m just happy and excited that they’re bringing back a classic. A jersey that nearly every single Nick fan has been speaking about for years, talking about they should bring it back. You know, I love that jersey. Why don’t they do it again? Why don’t they remix it? Why don’t they try to bring it back one more time? Well, ask and you shall receive. That vintage and classic ‘9s New York jersey is making its way back next season. And I know I am not the only one who’s excited about this. This is what I love. The Knicks are absolutely going to be one of the best teams in the league next season. And by the looks of it, they’re going to be doing it in style in one of the best jersey ways the Knicks have ever created. Let’s take a look at exactly what the Knicks win total will be for next season. According to FanDuel, the New York Knicks regular season win total for 2025 2026. They have it at 53.5. In terms of the over, we’re at minus 122. In terms of the under, we’re at minus 108. This tells you that nearly every odd maker out there believes that the Knicks will be a very competitive and very good team next season. But what the odds also confirm is that the pressure on New York is very high. They need to win. They need to win a lot of games. They need to do it convincingly. They need to utilize all of their talent, their full roster from the bench, their role players, their starters. They need to manage the minutes properly. Everybody around the league, including every single Nick fan, is going to be watching, waiting, looking for different rotations, different adjustments, what Mike Brown is going to do in certain situations, how the Knicks practice, all of these things. But it is very good to understand where the Knicks are seen among the league right now. And the way to understand that is to really see where they’re looked at from the odd makers. And the odd makers have let everybody know during this off season, they see the New York Knicks along with the Oklahoma City Thunder as well as the Cleveland Cavaliers as the top teams in the league to go all the way to the NBA Finals and potentially win it all. That’s how the Knicks are viewed going into next year. But they have an obstacle to go through before they get to the NBA finals. And I think we all know what that obstacle is. It’s the Eastern Conference Finals. Every single year, we get close. This last year, we got to the Eastern Conference Finals, but we could not close the deal. This next year, this new season, we have to get back to the ECF. We have to dominate there because I know we have a team that can go all the way. And I just want to see them work. I want to see the new rotations. I want to see what Mike Brown runs. I want to see the chemistry leveled up after one year. I want to see what Jaylen does, what Carl Anthony Towns can do. I want to see what starting lineup that we get, how the bench is used. There are so many things to look forward to and so many things to be excited about, but watching our team cook next season in these classic throwback 90 edition jerseys, that’s going to be the icing on top of the cake for me. The cherry on top of everything for me. This is what I was waiting for. A Knicks team I can get behind. But even more than that, more reasons to be hyped and excited. The roster, check. The coach, check. The new additions, check. And now the jerseys that they’re going to be rocking, check again. I cannot wait for next season to get started. I feel it in my bones.
