Rebuilding the Bulls in 60 Seconds
Here’s how I would turn the Chicago Bulls into title contenders in 60 seconds. OG’s know this is an old series. So step one is the step that this team should have done years ago and that’s fully rebuild. And it all starts with sending VC to the Warriors for I don’t even care a salary filler and a first. We’re also not going to bring Josh Giddy back. We’re going to sign and trade him to the Kings. We’ll take Malik Monk, reroute him, end up with a couple more first. So the team bottoms out for one year. They get a top pick in the draft and they use that on Darren Peterson out of Kansas. And then with their second first round pick, they take Bennett Sturts out of Iowa mid round one. I think Kobe White is a legit winning piece. So next summer, we give him a bag and resign a couple valuable bench guys and I Dumu and Zack Collins. And here’s the big splash. When the Miami Heat decide to finally rebuild next summer, the Bulls swoop in with all those extra first round picks to get there big. And so here’s the final squad. And look, if Peterson, Bzelis, and Asen develop into the players I think they will, this team would be dangerous.

That lineup is worse than in 2021-22 when they went 46-36 and lost in 5 in the first round. They've been "rebuilding" for a decade now.
