San Antonio Spurs Sign Adam Flagler To A Deal

Yo, what’s going on, guys? Camera’s dead, so we’re just going off the main camera. Adam Flaggler, a guy that I really liked coming out of Baylor a few years ago. He spent the few, not few, but the past two seasons with the Thunder NBA champion I believe. And he is, according to Paul Garcia of the Spurs podcast, you know, one of those local independent guys, does a lot of good work out there. Put out that he signed a training camp deal. And I love this. I really do. We know Micah Potter was another guy that they had recently went out and got on a training camp deal, which we have explained before. An exhibit 10 is basically training camp deal that if you do make it, it’s a non-g guaranteed minimum contract, but the deck is stacked against you. You’re more than unlikely to make it. You’re more just a training camp body. And the expectation is that if you stay 60 days on their G-League affiliate, this would be the Austin Spurs, then he would get a $50,000 bonus, which would push with the combination of his G-League base salary, his earnings on one G-League season to over $100,000 and then allow him to go play in Puerto Rico or somewhere else in the summer. the double dip that there’s some offseason leagues like the CBL, New Zealand, and Puerto Rico are the most popular ones. And by the way, he is an NBA champion cuz I just wanted to confirm that he was on the roster. I knew he was. I don’t know why forever in my head sometimes I always like feel like two ways, guys, you want to confirm that they have that championship ring. Not that like you’re doubting it, it’s just it can happen. But like it can happen that the guy got cut and then I guess like they they don’t get it. But either way, the Spurs signed Adam Flaggler to an exhibit 10 with Flaggler. The San Antonio Spurs roster now sits at 19 players. They can carry up to 21 for camp, but most will be cut to 18 by opening night. And Flaggler could be competing for one of the two-way spots. Unlike Micah Potter who has exhausted his two-way eligibility, Adam Flaggler still has one year remaining as you can have three years of service and be under two ways. Once you pass that three years of service, unless you qualify for the Harry Giles rule, which means if one of those years was washed because of injury or minimum play, then you could do it in your fourth year of service. So right now he’s a guy who’s played 39 games his average in NBA 6 minutes under two points like non stats garbage time stats but in the G-League in 31 games 26 minutes a night almost 15 points on 45% from the field about and 42% from three and a half assists three and a half rebounds this is a guy who was a fifthear senior at Baylor started at Pesarian College he was their leading scorer and playmaker shot 40% from three on five and a half attempts per game over three years. He’s a 6’3 combo guard with point guard-like skills. Got great shooting and quickness. He’s improved as a passer and pick and roll facilitator since coming into the NBA. He’s shown he’s a capable defender despite, you know, the size limitations. And I think he’s projected to be a backup point guard who can be a scoring threat and provide, you know, enough defense that he is in a turn style. So, I think his shooting, his quickness and speed, and he’s, you know, playing off of one of the or playing behind one of the quickest guys in the NBA in Dear Fox is pretty good. And if he impresses in camp, he could push somebody for a two-way. So, I think his biggest thing is just being efficient and showing that his defensive value will allow him to project in the minds of the front office and the coaches that he could be someone who could be a potential developmental project down the road. But yeah, that’s basically my two cents on Adam Flaggler. I’d like to hear your guys’ thoughts if you guys are as stoked as I am for a guy like that. But, I mean, yeah, that’s basically my whole thoughts there. If you guys made it to the end of the video, I would definitely like it if you guys left a comment. What do you think of Adam Flaggler and anything else? Hit that like and subscribe button if you want more content like this. It would help out the channel a ton. Till next time, guys. The San Antonio Spurs have signed guard Adam Flagler to what appears to be a training camp deal, bringing their roster to 19 players heading into camp. Flagler, a 6’3″ combo guard, spent the past two seasons with the Oklahoma City Thunder, averaging 1.7 points in limited NBA minutes but showcasing strong production in the G League with the Oklahoma City Blue — including a 31-point opener with eight made threes in 2024-25.

A former Baylor standout and NCAA champion, Flagler is known for his elite shooting, quickness, and ability to create off the dribble. If he can bring efficiency and defensive value, he could carve out a bench role in San Antonio.
