The Washington Wizards have an ELITE Young Core
When you talk about the best young cores in the NBA, the Washington Wizards tend to get overlooked far too often. And I do believe that this is not only one of the best young cores in the NBA, but they have quietly had one of the best off seasons in the NBA. The Washington Wizards to me have the perfect unique blend of veterans with championship pedigree that can help establish a culture and develop and mentor a ton of these young guys as franchise cornerstone pieces with players like Alex Sar, Keshan George, Belulabali, Bub Carrington, Trey Johnson, the list goes on. The Washington Wizards genuinely have a ton of great young ascending pieces who I think are going to end up being franchise cornerstone pieces in the nation’s capital. They have a $100 million in expected cap that’s going to be expiring at the end of this season, which means that they could potentially be big-time spenders in next year’s off season, and they have a litany of draft capital if they want to go ahead and make more moves in order to bolster this roster in the near future. This Washington Wizards team may not be very good next year, but in a couple of years, once these guys continue to develop and grow in their chemistry and continuity together, this is going to be one of the most fun teams in the NBA to watch for the foreseeable future. Here.
The Washington Wizards have been stockpiling draft capital and young talent for years now, and I believe in the direction of this organization with all of the pieces that they have. #washingtonwizards
