NBA LIVE! Los Angeles Lakers vs Golden State Warriors August 11, 2025 | 2025 NBA Season Live 2K

Heat. Heat. N. veteran talent on both sides. Yeah, tremendously high IQ’s from both teams. So, expect a clean game and some of these players have been through it all in this league. Now, Golden State’s starting five. Up front, it’s Green at the four with Jackson Davis at the five. Some kind of shooting in the back court for him. It’s Curry and heel. And it’s Butler in at the three spot. Green with a screen for Heel. Misses the three. And so it’s Himura who brings up the ball for the Los Angeles Lakers. Reeves outside. He’s looking for LeBron and finds it. Puts it up from 12 and the shot is good. Dropping in off the front of the rim. James has got the first points up on the board tonight here for the Lakers. Healed outside. First quarter. Just over a minute played. Donic against Curry. Shot clock at five outside. Butler shoots the three and a great assist by Curry as that one goes in. Nice to see Butler drain the three ball. This really opens up the rest of his game. Payton sets the pit for Donic over Curry. Donic no good. You you almost have to assume he’s going to knock those down when he is that open. It’s three outside grabs the miss and it’s the Lakers. Pass to Donic. Nice ball movement here by the Lakers. launches from deep. It’s rebounded by Golden State. It seems likely that the Warriors title run under Steph Curry. Brent is probably come to a close. Yeah, I’m not going to count Steph Curry out quite yet, Kevin, but you know, they have added some quality youngsters. They’re trying to grow that group. How fast can they bring those kids along to championship caliber players? That’s the big question. They don’t win their share of games. Hill, that’s his first personal foul. This is his first free throw of the game. At the line for Los Angeles, Austin Reeds taking two shots. Take a break. Take a break. Two shots. Free throw good. Reeves. So he makes one of two as the second one misses. He was able to tie it up. He has to be disappointed that he could not give his team the lead. It’s Curry outside. After two misses to start the game, he’s on the board with that shot made. I don’t know what you do with Steph in the pick and roll situation like that. He capitalizes because of the separation and it doesn’t have to be much. And JJ Reick is called timeout. He wants to make some adjustments to the game plan clearly. Pass to Donic. Hatimura with it. LeBron outside. Arms to get it to Donic and does. Yep. That one goes in there. Once Donic gets inside with the ball, he’s halfway there. Then he just uses his strength to finish the job. Now Jackson Davis. And here is Heel. Back to Jackson Davis. And he gets it to go. Hitting off the back of the rim. Well, that’s good teammate stuff right there. Looking for your guys, buddy. Heel has a strong feel for when to give it up. James the pass to Eightton. Now, Donic. And here in the first quarter with a little over three and a half minutes played, the allaround game of Donic is impressive. A walking triple double threat every night. First trip to the line for him here at 79% from the line a season ago. Pretty consistent there as a free throw shooter. shooting two. First one falls for and good on the second. So he makes them both. Just over three and a half minutes gone here in the first outside. Butler pass to Jackson Davis outside Curry. Six to shoot. Nice D from Donic. Those are chances almost always you can rely on him to get you two points, but the D just enough to keep him out of nailed from three-point land. And we’re so used to Donic operating with the ball in his hands, but it’s good to see him mix it up and work off the catch. Jackson Davis finds Butler. It’s tipped. James against Green. Reeves can’t hit. The Warriors have gotten three of eight shots to fall for them here in the first quarter. And again, no good by Golden State. And so it’s Himura who brings up the ball for the Lakers. Curry against Reeds on the wing. Donic and they double up. Donic three-pointer. Just his first attempt. Jimmy Butler with the rebound. Golden State’s gone two of five from three-point land here in the first quarter. Jimmy Butler just seems to raise his game come playoff time. Brent, it is a thing of beauty. It’s pretty awesome to see that kind of confidence where a guy just lays in the weeds for a little while and in the biggest moments comes in and stands out. So that’s not always just about Jimmy Butler. It’s about his team having that kind of confidence in how he performs in the biggest moments. Let’s check. Warriors trail by four. Pass to Jackson Davis. Curry against Donic. Outside. Curry. take trying to end the drought. A shot that time not on target. Nice D from Donic. Here’s Reeves. And again, it’s the Lakers. That’s what you like to see right there. A solid move to give himself some room and take it inside. Donic against Curry. Three-pointer gets it to go from beyond the arm. Curry’s got a couple of threes now in the first of the Warriors. Curry is just lethal from outside. Payton missed Green. Reeves can’t hit. Warriors trail by three. Left side. Butler to Curry. Good D by LeBron. Lakers have gotten five of 10 shots to drop in this game so far. Right at the 50% mark. His with a screen on Green. Fires from deep. James. No good. And on an open look like that, he’s very gifted at making the recovery pass. Here’s Curry. Good. But now just a one-point Los Angeles lead. playing a little bit bigger than his size right now. Curry with great body control and some deaf touch around the rim. Eight screen on. Here’s James and James throws it down. Making the most of the screen. That’s how it’s done. And it’s in the perfect spot. Greg frees him up to get all the way to the bucket. Really not enough help there. Lack of communication on the backside. Pass to heel. A three ball. It’s held in by Los Angeles. And you can never really count out these Los Angeles Lakers, Greg, can you? No, I I really don’t think you can. They they battle out of the playin tournament. They overcome obstacles and they have tremendous willpower. Green and that one good. Textbook nice pass. Great catch. Even better finish. LA is gone. One of three from beyond the arc so far in the game. Now Hatchima still yet to score. Fades away that one a tad off line to the right but drops in for the Lakers lead by three. Curry kicks to Green on the wing heel. He’s defended by Reeds. Fires from the line and it’s Butler missing. Lakers lead by three on the wing. Reeds. LeBron outside. Lets it go from deep. Gets the three-pointer to fall. James has got nine. When LeBron shooting like that, nothing you can do defensively. And it’s Curry with the ball bringing it up for the Warriors. Pass to Heel. Butler feeling it out a bit. Misses the layup for Los Angeles. They’ve gone eight of 15 from the field. Shooting above 50% here tonight. Hatchima setting the big for Donic with some arc. Tipped away. It’s stolen by Heel. 3se second difference between shot clock and game clock. And stolen by Eaton. Reeves outside on the wing. James and he gets the basket. Officials blowing the whistle. So a chance at the line for one more. just such a well-rounded offensive player. He’s got a little bit of everything. First trip to the free throw line for him tonight and and last season he made good on about three out of every four free throw attempts. Uh and last time I checked I think that’s 75%. LeBron James. One shot. Find the lanes. Find the lanes. One shot. James no good on the free throw. And we reach the end of the first quarter. Lakers ahead up eight. And we’ll be back with you right after this. and hope you’ve enjoyed the broadcast so far. Halfway through the first half in this one and taking a look at Los Angeles’s performance here, what have they been doing or or not doing? Well, their effort on the defensive end has set the tone for this game. Yeah, defense has been infectious here as everybody stepping up aggressively on that end. And the Warriors with possession here, trailing here by eight. So with Butler sitting on the bench, here’s the group that Steve Curry has on the floor. In the back court, we’ll see Curry and Pachki. Gary Payton the second is out there with Moses Moody. And it’s Kaminga and at the five roman the painting. Man, way to finish and cut into that lead a little bit. And look at the the basket guy still shaking. Donic feeling it out. Donic converts inside and inside. Luca knows the bucket is there so he is willing to fight for it. And for such a young player, Brandon Pajinski has a mature game. Well, Kevin, his intellect out on the floor, I think, is at an elite level. Brandon does such a good job of hovering around the basket to get rebounds. He advances the ball with the pass. He’s driving and always looking for angles. So, this is an advantage created player and Brandon does a great job of it. Pass to Moody. Back to Payton. Here’s Curry. Guarded by Donic. That one’s in there. The Lakers leaders cut down now to just five with a bucket from Curry. Well, the D has to pressure Curry at all times. You can’t let him shake free for a jumper. Off to a good start as he hits his first shot attempt. And guys, they continue to put a lot of pressure on the interior defenders with their work down low. Curry against Smart. Pass to Pajenski. Puts up a deep three again. Curry missing. Lakers lead by seven. Smart passes to Donic. Good. And Smart gets the assist. Donic has got five points in the quarter. And it doesn’t take much for Donic to get hot. And once that happens, boy, he is almost unguarded. And we’ve got a timeout called by Here’s PMski. Nothing on the board. Curry dishes to Kaminga. Score the basket. His second of two attempts. And that’s the kind of lead pass we’ve come to expect from him. Lakers lead by eight. Outside smart. Pass to connect. Here’s Vanderbilt. Now here’s Donic. Six on the shot clock. Latin. It’s rebounded by Kaminga. Definitely a situation you want to make sure you don’t give him too good of a look. Here’s Pachki. Misses from short range and it’s smart with the ball for the Los Angeles Lakers. That’s his second shot and his second basket. He’s two for two. Greg, what a great time to be a fan of basketball, not just in the NBA, but all over the world. Absolutely, Kevin. The sport just continues to grow and there’s increased value being placed on allaround skill even in youth basketball and I think that bodess well for the future of the game. And you know with Curry what impresses me most is his efficiency. That’s not something we normally see in a high volume jump shoot. Free throw good. Curry and many around the league believe Curry doesn’t get enough fouls called in his favor. Uh GA, what do you think? There could be some truth to that. He he gets held and grabbed more than anyone when running off screens, but especially blatant on drives to the rim. Looking at who’s out there now for the Lakers. Andre Aton’s check in for Hayes and it’s Austin Reeds in for connect and both free throws good for Curry with so many years in the NBA. You would think Curry would slow down, wouldn’t you, Brent? But he remains at the very top of his game. I think the best part about what you’re seeing with Steph right now, Kevin, is his competitive will. You get to this age and you get to this stage after accomplishing all the things that Steph has done and it’s still not enough. So, let’s keep enjoying him while we can. Pass to Pimski. Reeves against Teel to the hoop outside for Curry. the baseline change and all around the rim that time before dropping in. Curry’s got 15 points. Curry pretty much automatic from there. I mean, where is the weak spot for him offensively? As for Smart Don with it, shooting foul as the whistle blows. He’ll shoot two free throws. Jackson and a moment now to quickly take a look at the offensive approach for Los Angeles. Right away they showed us they weren’t going to shy away from the mid-range game and it’s proving to be an effective tool for them. They’ve done a great job tonight of getting out in transition. So that focus on fast break that’ll add to your total in a hurry. That free throw good from Donic and Los Angeles with some changes. LeBron comes in for Vanderbilt and Ruy Hatchimz subbed in for Smart. Then for the Warriors, Draymond Green comes in for Jonathan Kaminga. And it’s Jimmy Butler coming in for Brandon Pajki. free throw is good from Donic. And here are the Warriors now. It’s a 10-point game. Pass to Jackson Davis. Green against LeBron. Green kicks to Kurt. Lock at six. shoots over Donic. A shot by Curry. No good. Well, maybe not the best shot against that kind of defense, but he still has the ability to knock that kind of shot down. And the body control on display there. Dodic looking determined to finish. Warriors trail by 12. pass to Jackson Davis and a miss there on the triple. And here’s James. He’ll bring it up for the Lakers. The 12-point lead, their biggest of the game. And while we’ve got a moment, I’d send it over to our terrific reporter, David Aldridge. David, Kevin, thanks. A move that likely helped the league’s parody has been shortening max contract windows. Commissioner Silver says, “We used to refer to it as dead money. star player toward those n years sitting on the bench. We’ve reduced max contracts to 5 years and in some cases six. This way it moves to more pay for performance. Kevin, I think DA that’s a pretty good business decision. It’s going to have nice ramifications. Here’s Aton James left side over in the corner. Don good. And the assist goes to LeBron. LeBron’s got three assists now in this one. And normally near the top handling the ball. Luca sneaking out to the corner there getting free for three. That’s to Curry. shot to stop the run. Rebound the Lipers. Eightton’s got his seventh rebound of the game with that last one. Now James covered by Heel and they double up. James the three for Dungeons. Draymond Green pulls it in. Warriors trail by 15. Outside Butler pass to Jackson Davis. It’s good. Jackson Davis has got his second bucket of the night. This guy Jimmy Butler not showing that he’s a ball stopper. Awareness finds the open man. Lakers leading by 13. Reeves outside. Back to Don to the middle looking for Aiden. He gets it in there and Aton throws it down. Yeah, out there playing poker with the flush. They could use a big shot here to get this offense going. Too many empty possessions right now. They need the basket. Donic with the steel. Donic on the drive inside. Another good play. This is how they built the lead. Calling on the right guys at the right time. Basketball IQ is something that gets talked about, but it’s importance to a team showing up here running plays that turn into scores. Here’s Curry. No good with the layup. Los Angeles has gotten fewer than half of their three-pointers to go down tonight. They are four for nine. Hatchima down low defended by Butler. The three from LeBron. Green with the rebound. Warriors trail by 17 on the wing. Heel. Good. Great play by Green to set it up. Wow. Heel has a beautiful release on his shot right there. just barely off of his fingertips and buttery soft and so James will bring it up for the Los Angeles Lakers. 17 points was their biggest margin down low and that one’s good. Hachimura and the Lakers lead by 16. Mike Hachimura on the inside. Patience and capitalizing from that tight spot. Pass to Jackson Davis. And here is Heel. The three-pointer. No good. Oo, he missed an easy chance to put some points on the board. You won’t get a much better look at that kind of shot again here probably tonight. Here’s LeBron. can’t get it to fall. Warriors trail by 16. You know, it’s inevitable that a player’s physical abilities diminish over the course of a career. But the thing that stands out to me about LeBron James is that he never lost his insatiable drive to win. Guys, if anything, he’s gotten stronger. Pass to Hatchim. Back to James. over healed and James gets it to go on the assist by Hatchimal. LeBron’s got 13. A monster down low. LeBron James the rare package of skill, size, and athleticism. To the inside, here’s Green and the call on the shot sends him to the line. That’s on LeBron James. Brent, Draymond Green’s resume speaks for itself. What’s he do though that we may not see or appreciate? Well, Kevin, Draymond Green does such a great job of being a connector and communicator defensively. It it is remarkable the way that he can impact every position on the floor by the way he uses both his position and his voice. Forget about the offense. Draymond takes on the challenge every night defensively and that makes him elite. free throw good. Green Brent, when I think of those title teams of the Golden State Warriors, clearly you think of the Curries and Thompson and and and maybe at the top of that list, the importance of Draymond Green. Well, there’s no doubt, Kevin, that the lean on for Golden State defensively. And to be as good as they were on that end of the floor falls on the shoulders and the very capable ones of Draymond Green. I mean, he took on all challengers and elevated the confidence of players like Steph and Clay. So Draymond’s defense elite and leading to titles. Reeves the pass to Smart. LeBron kicks to Henchi Mura. No, good on the triple. Really excellent defense there. They know he’s capable of knocking it down from the outside and they could not have played him better. And didn’t do anything fancy there, but didn’t need to. Nope. He his only concern right now is getting the points on the board. I I don’t mean style points. Oh, in position and Aton throws it down. What a finish by Aton using those long arms to snatch that pass up high. Oh, and there’s the alleyoop and stolen by LeBron. The pass to Reeves. Finished off the break. Reeds has got five. Well, there you go. One team operating on all cylinders at both ends of steals, fast break buckets, and the other team in scramble mode. And so it’s Los Angeles holding a big 18-point lead to close the quarter, and we’ll see if they can keep up their tremendous shooting. They’ve been dialed in so far from the field. And now, let’s catch up with David Aldridge, who’s standing by from the sideline. All right, Dave. Hey, Kevin. Thanks. Hey, Draymond. At times in that first half, they got it going in transition. Why were they able to beat you defensively? Warriors trail by 18. You’ve got Austin Reeves. Ruy Hatchimura out there with James. Then there’s Luca Donuch. And it’s Aiden in at the five. That’s the Laker five. Curry outside. Curry. What else is new? So fast off the catch. Curry sometimes downright impossible to guard. James the pass to Reeves. Back to LeBron. Good on the three-point shot. LeBron’s got 16 points. Both teams running perimeter oriented plays that are working well. Both of them looking towards the three-point line. And I like to see that especially when the results are made by it. Hansen from downtown. He has six. Well, that’s a guy you want to find. Buddy Heield with the response from three. healed against Reeves with the teardrop. Draymond Green pulls it in. Green’s got six rebounds now in the game. Butler in the corner and the three off target. Lakers lead by 15. Gajic outside. Pass to Aton. Nice ball over there by the Lakers. Out to Donic. Five on the clock and Aton throws it down and he pulls off the Houdini to make that catch and slam it through. Stupendous alleyoop. Warriors trail by 17. Now Jackson Davis on the wing. Green. Green with a screen for Curry. And there’s the sling dunk to finish it off. That’s what he gives you. A big time presence on the glass. And you know what, Greg? Once he gets his hands on it, he’s not even thinking about kicking it out. Oh, his competitiveness right now is why the teammates love him. Curry against Donic. Shoots over Curry and he sinks that one hitting the back of the rim on the way in. And sure, he’s got a few tricks up his sleeve there. Don’s handles are very impressive. And so Steve Kerr calls for the timeout. Second half of play with just under two and a half minutes gone. And he’s going over the alley. hammers the alley through and hard to decide which better the pass, the catch, or the slam. There’s no wrong answer. Sensational alley to Donic laid in with a nice touch off the glass. 27 points for Luca Donuch. Big miscommunication on defense. He recognizes it and quickly takes advantage. Well, I know they don’t have mobile devices out there for texting, so they might as well talk to one another. Green with a screen for Butler. They kick out to Heel. The shots good on the assist by Butler. Butler’s got his third assist on the night. And Buddy He has great strength at his size. Stocky, but he finds a way to push through the defense. And Jimmy Butler puts together Brent, one of the alltime playoff runs, leading the Heat to the finals in 2023. Yeah, you don’t want to live in or dwell on the past, but man, Miami being the eight seed that year, Kevin, with Jimmy putting up 38 a game in that first round against the Bucks, guy earned the MVP of the Eastern Conference Finals. What a run. James looking around and the ball out of play. The Warriors will inbound. Warriors trail by 12. Get him out. Get him out. Healed outside. Butler against Hatchima. Outside for Curry. Green with a screen on Donic. Curry can’t get it to go. And so James will bring it up for Los Angeles over in the corner. Donic and Donic with the triple. And we know Dodis has limitless range, but for him it’s about becoming more consistent from deep. Curry dishes to heel. Pass to Green. Here’s Curry. Fires away from outside again. Curry missing. Los Angeles leading by 15. James finds eight. But now here is Himura defended by Buckle. Takes it up with both hands and rips it down. And credit the screen for giving him the space he needed to get to the rim. For sure. G allows him to come in with the sledgehammer. Yeah. Settle for the layup when you can attack the rim and rise up like that. And when you can’t get anything to fall, it definitely gets in your head, especially if you’re a player that doesn’t get a lot of shot attempts. But otherwise, the mindset is I just got to get the next one to go and you don’t want to put that much pressure on yourself. Curry deciding where to go with it. Will it go? And he lays it up and in. Curry. Curry’s got seven points for the quarter. It just doesn’t seem to matter. Steph maintaining his focus. It just takes a ton to throw him off balance. Now here’s Donic. He has 30 again. Los Angeles. And yeah, he’s not messing around. He wants no part of a comeback in this one. Well, he’s grabbed a tea and a blanket cuz he’s putting this one to bed. To the paint. Shots good by Butler. Butler’s got his second bucket of the night. Jimmy doing his work there, challenging in the lane. Pass to Re. Back to Dunic. Shot clock at six. And here’s James outside. Kept alive. Aimura kicks to Donic. Goes back up and it’s good on the layup. Nachic has got 11 in the second half. Haven’t we seen that a few times today, guys? I mean, their defense has got to have a little bit more toughness at all. Pass to Jackson Davis. Back to Curry from past the ark. Hits it from three-point range. Curry’s got two now from beyond the arc in the third for the Warriors. Reeves with it. He’s got seven. on the wing. Donic and Donic throws it down. Oh, from ultra close range. Donic off the Warriors trail by 18. Curry passes to Heel. Butler finds Heel. Donic against Curry. Golden State needs to get off a shot. Heel can’t hit. And I think that one could have easily have fallen for him. LeBron passes to Donic. Shoots over Curry. The rebound by Heel. He’s got his fourth rebound with that last one here tonight. Curry against Donic. The kick outside to Butler. takes the three. Rebound the Lakers. Kic has got four rebounds now tonight. 125 left in the third quarter of the game. Warriors trail by 18. Right side. Green. Green with a screen on Donic. Curry can’t get it to go. Los Angeles has gotten a three-point bug tonight. They’ve taken 15 shots outside the arc. Six of 15. Breeze with the screen for LeBron. The long distance. LeBron’s got 21. And another great performance here from LeBron on the offensive end. Man, that is the norm. Pass to Jackson Davis. Bother with the ball. Some nice passing by Golden State. Green with a screen for Heel over Reeves. And again, it’s the Warriors missing. Here’s Los Angeles now. They’re on a 16-7 run. They get it back. James lays it up off the glass. He’s got 23. And you are at the mercy of LeBron James once he gets that kind of positioning. Nice finish. And here is Curry. 25 points in the game. From the arc. That shot off the mark. It’s been all about Luca Donic for Los Angeles. He is approaching 40 points for him in the game. He’s scoring in just about every way possible. And we’ll be back with you shortly. And it’s time to bring up the State Farm assist of the game. And he’s always been the favorite to bag this honor. These kind of feeds are his bread and butter. Doesn’t happen with every point guard in the league as far as setting your teammates up. Lots more scorers now, but right there creating the scoring opportunity for his teammate. And one quarter to go in a game that to this point has not been an evenly fought contest on the court for Golden State here in the fourth. In the back court, we’ll see Curry and Poachki Kaminga out there with Gary Payton the second and it’s Moody in at the three. The small forward. Here’s Donic. Pass to connect. There’s three-pointers off the mark. Warriors shooting around 41% on the night. Here is Pachki. Nice D from Donsic. Los Angeles leading by 23. And here’s Smart defended by Moody. Back to Donic. And the layup falls. Donic has got 38 points. Love his shot selection. good at taking quality shots. Whether he’s defended or open, he knows how to knock those down. Curry passes to Payton. Moody with it. Connect picks him up. No good off the back of the rim. Los Angeles has gone outside a lot tonight. 17 times in fact. Seven of 17. The quick look. No good that time. Majky on the wing guarded by Donic. Pass to Kaminga and Kaminga throws it down. Leaping ability is off the charts. Not the biggest power forward, but outstanding rising up off the ground. Smart against Curry. Now here’s Vanderbilt. No good from outside. You can’t miss those, but even the best do on occasion. Pass to Curry. Now Payton and foul on the shot. So he’ll get a chance at the line. That’s his first personal foul. First team foul shooting for Golden State. Gary Payton the second at the line for two. Take a break. Take a break. Two shots. No good on the free throw. Austin Reeves is checked in for connect. And the Warriors also making a change. Heels checked in. good on the second free throw. And so Donic will bring it up for the Lakers. They’ve played a great fourth quarter defensively, allowing only three points. Gets rebounded by Golden State. Here’s the floater and the play by Curry as he finishes it off for two. Those floaters, boy, they they really demoralize the defense. Here’s the thing, Steph knows it. To the inside, Reeves. The pass to Smart. That’s his first and a chance for just a second to check out the scoring breakdown for the Lakers. How simple they are just keeping things on offense. I mean, the mid-range area has been made available and boy are they taking advantage. You probably have to touch on as well that tonight their penetration has been awesome. I mean, they put force on this game attacking off the bounce and a willingness to do that has paid off. That free throw missing and some of what Smart gives this team doesn’t always show up in the stat sheet, but but he makes plays that help you win. Moses Moody. He’s checked in for Gary Payton. And the second free throw. Good. Warriors trail by 21. Outside curve stolen by Smart. and laid in to finish the break. Third minute of action now gone here in the fourth. Smart against Curry. Pass to Pajki. Now Kaminga. Two free throws coming up and they call the shooting foul. All right, Brent. Quickly. First thing that comes to your mind when you think of Jonathan Kaminga physicality Kevin I mean this guy is so dominant athletically that Jonathan Kaminga is a presence out on the floor. If he continues to put himself in the situations where he can put his body on guys and play fearlessly. His game is going to continue to grow. That free throw good from Kaminga. second free throw. No good. Lakers leading by 22. Oh, he’s going up for the alleyoop here. And Hayes throws it down. Oh, such a beautiful pass to set that one. Yeah, the pass might have been pretty, but the finish was angry. Pass to Kaminga. Back to Curry. Now here’s Moody. Tight defense on him inside. Stolen by Smart in the corner. Vanderbilt with it. Back to Smart. Honet six. Plays it up and banks it in. Donic has got 40 points. Well, he’s been doing it all night. Why not go back to him? Yeah, he’s feeling it. Keep feeding him until he misses. Pass to Curry from deep. Traps in the tray. Stephen Curry. Curry’s got 30 points. This is just not a surprise. Steph Curry is having a massive offensive game. Now here’s Donic. He’s defended by PMski and it’s Donic missing. The Warriors have gone three of five here in the fourth quarter. Pretty good numbers coming out of the break. Smart kicks to Vanderbilt. Now here’s Donic. Defense right on him. Vanderbilt inside defended by Moody. Donic outside. The second chance effort and the layup is up and in. Donic has got 42 in the game. I mean if the defender is going to play off like that then you know what’s going to happen. There are going to be points put on the board. Pompeki and he banks in the layup. No issues on that one. Good work all around. And so it’s Dunic with it. He brings it up for Los Angeles on the wing. Reeds Vanderbilt kicks to Smart. Pass to Hayes. Back to Smart. And they call the foul. So a chance at the line for one more coming up. That pass into the paint. That is a work of art there. Dead on target. And the Lakers with some changes. Maxi Clea. He’s checked in for Jackson Haynes and it’s connect in for Austin Reed. Then for the Warriors Jackson Davis has jumped in for Kaminga. Draymond Green comes in for Moody and it’s Butler in for Brandon PMK. So it’s the Warriors now. Outside Curry pass to Jackson Davis. Healed against Donic. Outside Green just five to shoot. Curry with it over Smart and Curry the bucket on the assist by Green. Green’s got three assists in the game. Lakers have gone six of 12 from the field here in the fourth and even 50%. outside. Smart. Donic against Teeal. Six to shoot. Lets a floater go. Flash contact the shot. And now a three-point play chance as he’ll head to the line. How about the balance of Nance on that possession. Amazing at just absorbing the contact and still with the strength to finish. Menson’s checked in for Marcus Smart at the line for the Lakers. Luca Dodge shooting one. That free throw good from Donic. Warriors have gone five of seven from the field since the beginning of the fourth. Strong work at that end of the floor. Healed outside. Three-pointer. Butler. Cleo with the rebound. That is fantastic defense on one of the best three-point shooters in the league. Did give him an inch of room. Benson finds Donic. Hits from the high post. Donic has got 47 points. And when Luca sees the mid-range open up, he he takes the shot. Keeping things simple. Donic against Heel. Pass to Green. Golden State moving it around. Just five on the clock. They get the rebound. Here’s Jackson Davis. A shot missing. The Lakers have gone eight of 14 from the floor here in the fourth quarter. Anj passes to Vincent. Now Cleba. Here’s Vanderbilt. Pass to Donic over Green. Here’s Vanderbilt. And the dunk by Vanderbilt. He’s putting on a show for these fans. I can’t believe he pulled that one out in the course of an actual game. The second personal foul. The fourth team foul at the line for Los Angeles. Jared Benderville. One shot and that one falls for Vanderbilt. Two minutes. Now here’s Curry. Two minutes outside. Butler. 152 left here in the fourth quarter to stop the run. Curry on the wing, defended by Vincent. And a nice play by Curry as he scores. Curry’s got nine points now in the quarter. Well, here’s the problem. He’s shooting the lights out, but they’re still behind. They need another guy to step up. Donic no good. close to making the defense pay for the lack coverage that time. And as we head to the final buzzer here, a crushing blowout, big- time dominance, and and this will go in the record books as a dolly win for Los Angeles. It was a standout performance across the board. I mean, it was like watching a cat play with a mouse. They were able to do more or less whatever they wanted. And you know, when you look at the huge impact he had, just a monster game for Luca Donic. Every time he shot it, it seemed like it was going to drop in. And if it didn’t, everyone was surprised. Clea with a screen on Butler. Pass to Vincent. And there’s the call. It’s going to be an illegal screen. When a pick like that is questionable and creates that much of an advantage for the offense, you have to blow the whistle. Yeah. A quick little lean like that is going to get the ref’s attention. Foul called. Golden State’s gone one and two from three-point range here in the fourth. Outside Curry healed with it. Back to Curry. 50 seconds left in the fourth quarter. Here’s the three. Drills it from outside. Curry. Curry’s got 37. Well, at this point they’re just trying to get back in sync. You want to play a good brand of basketball. Consistency definitely is a a key to some of the playoff performing teams and tonight they just did not find it in this contest. This arena was rocking throughout the night. You you could really feel the energy. A huge motivation. Always great for a young team, but veteran players also appreciate when fans come with that kind of energy and get into the spirit of the game. Green dishes to heel off target from three-point range. Benson with it. So, it’s Los Angeles winning this one easy. And the outcome of this one was never in doubt. And boy, they really put in a supreme effort. I it just felt like once they had that lead and it was comfortable, they were not going to relinquish it. It’s time now to go courtside as we send you over to David Aldridge from the sideline. David, take it away. Thanks very much, LeBron. You looked aggressive out there. How did you get to your groove tonight?
