Malcolm brogdon was not a role player he was a btier star getting third banana looks and he did not get better he just got more shots and higher usage in indiana. His last year in milwaukee actually remaims his best analytically with his 6th man year in boston being a close second. This is the classic casebof casuals not recognizing a sacrificing star on a loaded team and calling them a "role player". True role players are specialist. Malcom brogdon at his best is a two way playmaking star in the btier. He can score shoot pass and is a good defender. Those are roles not a role which is singular.
