If you guys want to, you guys could subscribe and that would allow you to get all the videos uh right there to your YouTube page and you do that by hitting the button called subscribe. You could also hit the like button. That’s also always positive. You could also hit the dislike button, but you’ll be dead to me. So, you choose. Uh no pressure either way. I’m not I’m not here to uh to to impinge you on however you feel about this video. you feel how you want to feel. This is a Democratic uh this is a Democratic channel. I’m not here to bury anybody’s opinion on that stuff. You guys can also comment and we also have uh I do a radio show every single day with Leroy Horde, my buddy. We do it on uh on the YouTube channel for our radio station, which is now found on 1043 FM on the FM dial. And we’ve changed the handles there. Um, I will put them in the description. I always do. 1043WQAM is the handle now for the YouTube users. Miami 1043WAm is that for Twitch if you guys are Twitchers out there. So, appreciate you stopping by. I always am. So, some little uh heat housekeeping as we’ve uh taken a little uh tone down on the international games. Norman Pal did not play in the final one for Jamaica. Although Norman Pal apparently uh basically did the Michael Jordan. He played uh with some kind of sickness where he dropped 34 against Costa Rica. And I gotta tell you, Michael Jordan doing it in the NBA, Norman Pal doing it for his country and doing it for uh World Cup qualifying samsies, dude. So, uh, Norman Powell, uh, really makes his performance look that much more impressive when you consider that he was not feeling too good. And I think we’ve all got a little bit of the, uh, uneasiness when we hear about a a Heat player not feeling so hot when they’re traveling abroad. You’re starting to think about the Himeme Hakez Mexico City game. And that’s where like all the bubble guts seemed to stem from last year. But, uh, speaking of travel, it does appear, I’m not, you know, jumping to conclusions, but if you put two and two together on the, uh, the Twitter detectives out there, it appears like Miami and the Orlando Magic are going to announce on Tuesday some type of preseason game. It looks like it’s going to be in in Puerto Rico, so I’m not positive on that. It just see there’s there’s been some tea leaves that are out there. It looks like that is uh it they say they’re they’re announcing something that’s going to be on the Heat YouTube channel. Glenn Rice is going to be there. There’s going to be magic brass there and that has something to do with a preseason game. I can only assume that it’s probably going to be some Puerto Rico game. Uh you guys should get uh South Florida. My guy Xander Zas, new champion of the world representing Puerto Rico. If he’s there, get my guy Courtzside for that game, dude. It’s basically he’s like best friends with Bad Bunny now. Like Bad Bunny’s there watching his championship fight. You have him, Bad Bunny, Tito Trinidad, Miguel, Cotto. Let’s go. We got some royalty there. Um and uh and I could I could I could finally buy over his Heat fandom after many of fights about uh about the Lakers, even though he’s a child and barely watched Kobe Bryant, which that’s okay. I almost had him. I almost had him with Damen Lillard cuz Dame’s a big boxing guy, Xander fan. And Xander’s like, “Listen, if you guys get Dame, I’m I’m in.” But, uh, it didn’t happen. It didn’t happen. Unfortunately, he did his part though. He went on I don’t know if you guys ever saw this, but he won one of his fights and did we planned this. He uh because we knew Dame Lillard would be watching. Not that we didn’t know Damian Little at all. He wanted to come to the Heat, but I had him get the knockout and then he did the uh the point to the wrist doing the dame time. It was really really cool. Anyway, kids a rising star. Go support him. South Florida zone. You’re here for the Heat stuff. Um but it does appear like we’re getting towards that. Speaking of young guns, I saw that the Miami Heat rookie Casperis Yakonis was as the Heat put it back in the lab. It looked like he was doing a little workout with Khal Wear Vlad Golden at the Heat facility. They got him in the wait room. He started doing the weight room program. So, it looks like uh Cass is in the fold starting to get ready for Miami Heat camp, which is a mere h what are we talking here? Six weeks away. We are we six weeks away, [Music] give or take. A little bit over. maybe like seven weeks away. Seven weeks away from Miami Heat camp getting going and um really getting into the thick of this thing. Um but it has been fun. I believe Serbia is back in action on Friday. I think they’re taking on Czech Republic and then they got a match up with Slovenia which will be a really fun matchup should Luca play. Um this last game they play they blasted a team by like 50 points. Nico only played like uh I think like 17 minutes. So they uh they everybody got a little bit of run there, but they’ve uh they they eased that one. Jamaica already qualified. No Palad didn’t play in their finale. So no need for him there. There was a little bit of a heat blur today. There’s a couple things that are actually of note for the team. So the Heat, according to Chris Haynes, he was the first one to uh break this story that I saw. Uh the Heat are he said are working out free agent big man Kai Jones uh was working out for the Heat today. League source is telling me the 2021 first round pick remains young athletic and a pro remains a young athletic prospect. So the Heat perhaps uh bringing in some size. We have wondered what they’re going to do with that. They do have a roster spot left and um there’s been a lot of people speculating, hey, could they go guard here? I have thought that that last spot is going to be some kind of veteran size. Now, Kai Jones has kind of been up and down. He’s been at the GLeague. He’s not really found his footing anywhere. He was uh he, you know, he played with the Hornets last year. Played some time with the Clippers and the Mavericks. had some nice performances uh amongst some injuries and put up some pretty nice numbers because they had so many big man injuries last year, the Mavericks. Um uh native of the Bahamas. So, I I I think that this, you know, this could be an an interesting pickup for Miami. Um and we’re talking about like, hey, what are the things they need? Like, you know, you always got to you got to account for like, hey, what if you know, god forbid, Kawwear twists an ankle? What if Bama Deio has a sore hamstring? What if you run out of dates with like what if Vlad Golden gets stuck in Sou Falls? I just feel like that’s a position the Miami Heat need to uh cover themselves a little bit more. Now, some of the reporters that are out there with Kai Jones are saying that uh the Heat are just right now looking at this as like a pre-season camp roster type of try out. Anthony Chang points out that he cannot sign a two-way deal because of his stature. This is similar to um similar to Drew Smith where Drew Smith cannot sign a two-way deal anymore. So, it would need to be a standard part of the deal. And, you know, I I do think that yeah, it would be prudent for the Heat to bring in a little bit more size. I’ve been wondering like who that guy is going to be. Obviously, for funsies, we kicked around somebody like Assan Whiteside. That’s not going to happen. So, uh, they bring in somebody like Kai Jones, former first round pick. You try and see if you can, you know, get some of the, uh, the the the squeeze some of the juice out of that talent and, you know, that he can can throw it into a development program and whatnot. I think uh, is certainly interesting. I think it’s certainly interesting. um not expecting much like I’m not expecting the guy to come here and you know light it up and become you know heat you know or anything like that but I certainly think that they uh that that is just a position they could use a little bit more depth in you know with Vlad Golden being on a two-way deal you know unless Vlad has like some monster pre-season and they’re like ah we got to sign this guy to a standard deal or they’re keeping their options open there because they want to flip one of the the two-way guys, you know, see what he’s got. You know, they did this a little bit with uh Nir Little last year. Nir Little was brought in, then he spent some time in Sou Falls. So, I don’t think it it’s necessarily a slam dunk that he’s brought in is going to get a standard deal, but I do think that the Heat should be looking at some more people with some uh with some size and stature to him to bring in. The other piece of uh news that was kicked around today was a a blurb from Brett Seagull, who has been, you know, dropping a lot of nuggets out there for Clutch Point and Clutch Points, excuse me. And uh the last thing we had from him, remember he had that thing about Tyler Hero and people the league is monitoring what the Heat are going to do. Well, his blurb today was about Andrew Wiggins, and he said, “This off season, the Miami Heat were willing to discuss trade scenarios involving Andrew Wiggins.” This we kind of know. Several teams expressed interest in the former NBA champion and all-star wing, sources said. The Milwaukee Bucks, league sources say, were one of the teams that inquired about Wiggins. While the Heat ultimately kept the former first overall pick, they were willing to deal Wiggins if they received an instant impact player along with an upcoming first round pick before 2028. Teams continue to monitor the Heat specifically how they will handle Tyler Hero’s upcoming extension to get a better idea of what direction they’re heading in. I think um you know this and this goes along the path of the Tyler Hero thing and and look we had heard over the summer that the Heat were you know maybe in some talks with the Lakers. The Lakers were interested in getting Andrew Wiggins and you know the Heat were only going to do it for getting you know some of their on roster guys on short-term deals and getting a first round pick. It’s interesting that he mentions that they want the pick before 2027. Makes you feel like they’re trying to unlock some stuff with the pick that they owe to Charlotte because, you know, a lot of the times if you’re going to get Andrew Wiggins, you’d think that team’s going to be pretty good and so you’d like a you’d like the pick as late as possible. But it’s interesting that Brett mentions that the Heat want to get that 20 uh that pick before 2028. And I believe what the pick that they owe is the 2027 pick. I think there’s some protections on there, but if it’s not converted then, then it would be in 2028. So much like the Oklahoma City deal would give the Heat a little bit of insurance to make some kind of move that they did. Um, but we do know like look, there were there were obviously trade talks with Andrew Wiggins and and the reason I say that it’s obvious is it wouldn’t have leaked that they’re not trading him if there weren’t trade talks and that they want Andrew Wiggins at some kind of peace coming here, right? It was obviously very hard for Andrew Wiggins to be dropped uh in this trade from a franchise he really loved in the Golden State Warriors. It was, you know, a burden on him. It was, it was awkward because I think the Heat were expecting him to kind of seamlessly take over the reigns and it wasn’t as clear on what the role should be. We saw some I think everybody who knows Andrew Wiggins like you see these unbelievable flashes of talent where he looks like the greatest thing that’s ever graced a basketball court, but you’re not necessarily going to lean on him to be your your number one, number two, maybe even not number three guy, but you’ve seen that he could be an impact player on a winning team. You’ve seen it. So, I just think that the Heat wanted to that I’m sure that they did explore it, but I think the Heat were only going to do it for what they deemed to be a really really good return. I don’t think that they’re going to just deal Andrew Wiggins to deal unless they thought Andrew Wiggins was going to be a malcontent, which I don’t think they think. So, what I do summize happened is that they kicked around the idea of training Andrew Wiggins, but they’re only going to do it if they got a first round pick or um or a really good player. And when that didn’t occur and nobody came a knocking with that, they’re just like, “All right, well, let’s put this to bed.” The worst that could happen is somebody knocks our socks off with a deal and then we say, “Hey, sorry, man. this one was too good to to to turn down and I’m sure that’s probably been expressed to Andrew Wiggins camp and now that he aren’t really in a desperate spot because it doesn’t feel like they seem like they’re unhappy with the player. So wouldn’t say this this says anything new than when we talked about this with the Lakers. The thing that is interesting is that a lot of teams, according to Brett’s report, uh that several teams seem to be interested in Andrew Wiggins. And I would venture to guess, unless Andrew Wiggins falls off a cliff, I would venture to guess he’s the type of player that the interest isn’t going to Wayne on him and he doesn’t have this gargantuan contract and he’s not a guy that, you know, is is going to be looked upon as rattling the chemistry. But a lot of teams if they feel like they could contend a little bit better and if like they said people are mon where the heat are are going if the Heat A aren’t going well or B maybe they feel like hey Yoic is ready to take a little bit more of a leap. We want to lead to our three big lineup. Um we want to play a three guard lineup. We like Tyler and Norman and and and DaVon better than having Andrew Wiggins there. All of those things now become options. you’ve laid the groundwork, but you’re not in a desperate spot. And and I think that, you know, that’s a good place for Miami to be right now. They they are completely comfortable with going into the season with having him there, hoping it goes more smooth because he’s not going to be asked to do as much. And plus, it’s not going to be this jolt to his system. The the family will have a little bit of time to adjust to South Florida. And so I think it’s just going to be making for a better place. And should something come along that the Heat feel like is too good to to to turn down, then okay, then I’m sure they would they would pounce on that. But I don’t think they find themselves in this like, oh my god, we got to get this guy out of here. Have to. This is not like a Jimmy Butler situation. But it is interesting that you know that this is not a this is not like a one team market. This is not a two team market. seems like no, he’s going to have his fair share of suitors, which would lead you in certain cases to uh to feel like you could drum up a bit of a market and and get what you hope to get for him. But I I think the thing that’s interesting from this report is the Heat really trying to the Heat doing as as much as it can to try and make themselves whole from that Terry Roier trade if they’re trying to get that pick before 2028. That to me is like, God, we’re just do if we can make ourselves whole. We’re only trading Andrew Wiggins because then essentially like we’ve talked about the tentacles of the Jimmy Butler trade, right? Then it’s like, well, then we flipped Jimmy Butler and we got one first round pick, but then we got Norman Powell, but then we got also from that another pick. So, you’ve continued to to stem out more and more and more from it. Um, but as of right now, it seems like the Heat are are are ready and raring to go with Wiggins coming into

First. I wasnโt impressed at all surf Wiggins.
This team is cooked. Legs hit it on the head. This team is boring
Can we trade for Markenen?
Wiggins. Rozier. Jaime an pics
Wiggins aaverged 19 ppg in a Heat uniform. Not sure the haste of fans wanting to trade him. Especially with the herro/powell back court. He fits as a 2 way player. No one is gonna gift us a star. Regardless were better than last season.
which stupid idiot said he is better than playoff jimmy
This team has to play as a team. There are no superstars. Heat were expecting Wiggins to be 1a and even 1b and he wasnt even that in golden state. If Powell and Herro take bulk of scoring Wiggins can definitely be free to operate consistently. 15-20 is all he
needs a night. Powell looks like hes ready to step in limelight
A keyword and the question for Wiggins is how engagment. How engaged will he be with the Heat? The East will look different this year if he can always engaged.
I'm trusting the process,
LET'S GO HEAT ๐ฅ..
