Monta Ellis On Steph Curry Becoming This 😳 #shorts #nba

Did I know he was going to be that? Nah. But he did work hard though. Now seeing it, not surprised. Once he figured out how to be able to get strong and take physicality, that’s when his career changed. The things that that I was doing, he paid a whole lot of attention to it and he put that in his game. We never knew that Steph was going to be this because Steph had ankle problem real real bad. We would be in the game, man, he’ll pull up in the game cuz his ankle came out. So, we didn’t know what it was. And like I said, man, if you don’t go get stronger and like you won’t be able to sustain that throughout a 82 game season. Guess it was your destiny.

  1. Thing is Steph could of easily quit with all them ankle injuries…instead he got in the gym and put serious work in.. Then he went from good shooter to the best shooter God ever created!

  2. I knew he still was gonna be a problem when everyone was saying he wasn’t gonna be anything because of his ankles , because what he did great he didn’t need his ankles to do for the most part other than being on the court… He had a couple very bad ankle springs and that’s it…. He would have eventually overcome them…. I springed my left ankle about 10 times hurt like a bitch and cracks till this day. D Rose was still next up , not Steph….

  3. Was definitely Curry's destiny to be this great.
Sad how decisions were made impacting Monta's stay at the Bay but in hindsight, it's all good. Golden State kept the better player.

  4. This lowkey inspirational asf, and Monta was definitely the right dude to tell it 💯💯💯
