So, could the Sacramento Kings be trading away Demar De Rozan to the Portland Trailblazers this 202526 NBA off season? The link to this article is down below in case you want to go ahead and check it out for yourself, but this trade would see the Sacramento Kings receiving Jeremy Grant and the Portland Trailblazers receiving Demar D Rozan and Doug Mcdermad. So, this trade makes me scratch my head a little bit because why on earth would the would the Sacramento Kings be interested in Jeremy Grant? Now, Jeremy Grant is still a pretty solid player, but he is getting paid way too much money in my opinion uh for what he’s actually putting together on the on the court. So, for the Sacramento Kings, you’d be taking on a willingly bad contract for a player in Demard Rosen who just had himself a pretty solid year this past year. So, I understand them wanting to get rid of Demar De Rozan because he is older, etc., but for Jeremy Grant, why would you put yourself in this much of a situation financially speaking that may not be in your best interest moving forward. So, yeah, unless they unless they disagree with me completely and they view Jeremy Grant as like a really solid player. Perhaps he could fit in next year pretty well alongside Zack Lavine as well as Damontus Sabonis. But Jeremy Grant to me just isn’t really the player that he used to be. and he’s a very solid player when he’s healthy and could definitely score the basketball, but I don’t know. He’s a pretty expensive contract, a bit of a terrible year this past year. I don’t see the allure for the Kings to make this deal in my opinion, but those are just my thoughts. Now, from the Blers perspective, I love this deal quite a bit. Getting back two really solid players with Demar D Rozan and Doug McDermott. Uh Demar D Rozan of course is an older player but he’s still pretty solid and he can score the basketball very well and is a very consistent player and had himself a tremendous year this past year and I think that him going to this uh Portland Trailblazers team looking to change the culture a little bit looking to uh perhaps bounce back a little bit. I think Rosen’s a tremendous player. He can be a little bit closer to home as well uh despite the fact that he is in Sacramento. So he’s very close to his home. uh but he can still be very solid being on the west coast uh playing in Portland. It’s it’s probably better at this point for him to finish off his career there than it would be to perhaps go to somewhere else in the Far East from a family perspective. But if Demar wants to win a championship when his career is all said and done, which I think this would be sort of the cherry on top for Demar De Rozan, Portland’s probably not the case. Like the Western Conference is just way too stacked. So I don’t think Demar Roen might might not be the happiest going to to Portland in this deal. But I still think from the Blazers perspective, it’s a very solid deal. Getting rid of Jeremy Grant’s contract and getting back two pretty solid players in Demar D Rozan and Doug Mcder. So to me personally, the winner of this deal uh is the Portland Trailblazers. But as always, leave your thoughts.
