Andrew Nembhard is Relentless on the Defensive End of the Floor πͺ | Indiana Pacers
Both these teams like to play high pace basketball. Bane a throwaway. Thought he got fouled. Nemhard works his way against Miranda and lays it in. He’s taking five. Yeah, he he’s he’s looking to get shots up and that’s what that’s got to be his mode. Tatum. Great block by Nimhard. And Nimhard the steal. He got it because Bryan was in really good defensive position on the other side and they weren’t expecting it. And so the Pacers with backto-back baskets out of the timeout and they get another steel pass. Yeah, you got to got to pass that one. Siaka for three. Forced a timeout by by San Antonio day. There were 11 lead changes and four ties in the first half. Remember, it was only a three-point game at the half. Here’s the steel. Great hands. Activity early with those hands. Indiana’s taking a 22-point deficit. Down to four. And here’s another steel. That’s how he was trying to come to him late. Don’t leave your feet. Robinson in trouble. Throw it away. Yeah. I mean, he started coaches and trainers in the offseason, David Thorp, and they wanted him to improve his three-point shooting. Well, a lot of this comes down to consistency on the court according to Carlile and we talked about in the first half of getting out and running, not allowing this big long Minnesota team to get set defensively. And now Nim Hard lays it in off the turnover. The Pacers by 17. Hunter up the middle. 23 points. Pick pocketed on the play. Nim hard. and the other way. Mathin [Applause] Hunter, great look. Mitchell, what a rejection from behind and then Bryant as well. They still have confidence in their group. They know they’re going to have time here to wear this Cavs team down. Donovan Mitchell is blocked by Turner. And look at Nemhard. Indiana center Miles Turner’s two threes will drive right into the defense of Nimhard looking for Robinson. picked off the hard seak and at the other end. Here come the Nick defenders. And you know Indiana has enough in their resume that this game is not over. How OKC handles this point from here on out will dictate. Tim Hard with the steal, the drive, and the finish. They’ve stopped runs or they’ve tried to get momentum. Tough pass there. And through the fingers topping down the other end and throws it

Heβs a scrappy player, but heβs also a great ball handler and is good at finding his own shots in clutch moments. Looking forward to seeing him and TJ tear it up next season
