I really don’t think the world is ready for what Wimi is going to be next year. Kevin Garnett, truly one of the best vets you could possibly have, is taking Wimi under his wing. And let’s not forget that just a couple months ago, he was seeking wisdom and guidance from Shaolin Monks. So to go from living with the Monks to getting trained by Kevin Garnett, one of the most intense defenders and competitors in the league’s history is certainly something. And Wimby was already on the goat watch. But now we really have to pay attention. I don’t think it should be lost on anybody either. WBY led the league in blocks last year and missed like the last 30 games of the season. So to add already those raw defensive abilities and pairing it with one of the best defensive minds in the entire league’s history, wrap it up. I’m not going to sit here and say anything lofty like I think the Spurs are going to win 50 games next year. They’re going to be a homec court advantage team. I do like their season outlook a lot though. Now that’s going to be on the back of Victor Romanyama obviously, but this pairing with the year and Fox should be very, very good. Not to mention the fact they have such good young talent in Dylan Harper and Steph Castle.
