If Jaw isn’t Jaw, nothing else matters. Point blank. Period. Full stop. If Jaw Morant is not the guy that he was at the end of the season, to his credit, he looked like the jaw of old. In some ways, he looked better at times. I like to remind everybody that the Grizzlies were winning by 20 plus points at the end of the first half of game three against the eventual NBA champion Oklahoma City Thunder. Doesn’t mean Memphis would have won that series, but it does mean it is not nearly the blowout sweep that people like to think it was. Injuries happen, of course. Jaw doesn’t get hurt. The Grizzlies win game three. Maybe that series looks a little bit different. I still think the Thunder win the series, but Memphis

Ja is going to be ja period and we are all afraid of another injury but none of us control that , He can play less reckless with dunks but he's gotta play without fear to be himself, can't no one be good playing with fear , I'm certain his judgement will be better because he's maturing , God knows I don't some reckless stuff as I was maturing , he's gonna be fine , lets not feed the fear

Here’s what we need from Ja next year. That game against the Cavs towards the end of the season. Mid range game looked phenomenal. We need that. That in between game would make him so hard to guard. He just wasn’t consistent with that shot this year.
Ja has a Derick Rose MVP year in him.
