So, could the Sacramento Kings be trading away Demar de Rozan to the Los Angeles Clippers this 2025 NBA off season? The link to this article is down below in case you want to go ahead and check it out for yourself, but this trade would see the Los Angeles Clippers receiving Demar De Rozan and the Sacramento Kings receiving Bogdenbakdonovich and Derrick Jones Jr. So, Demar De Rozan is a player that could very well be dealt this off season or at the very latest the 2026 NBA trade deadline. With Demar Rozan having the year that he had this past year and with him probably not being a long-term fit in Sacramento, it’s probably in the King’s best interest to capitalize on his value being as high as it is and ship him out for whatever he can get back in return. So Demar Rosen being from the Los Angeles area would probably love to be a member of the Clippers. Like he’s been talked about uh you know in the past being a member of the Clippers or the Lakers and I think finishing off your NBA career closer to home where you can compete for a championship etc. It checks all the boxes for Demar Rosen at this point of his NBA career. So tomato Rosen still a very solid player and this and this Clippers roster is very old like um after them getting Chris Paul of course uh with them having James Harden as well as you know Kawhi Leonard and the rest of this roster uh with them getting you know Bradley Beal from Phoenix uh in that buyout situation. This roster is very old and Demard Rosen fits in perfectly well and it’s a bit of a retirement home in in Los Angeles. But uh for the Clippers who want to get a championship before um I would say the Kawhi Leonard era is over. Demard Rosen helps them get there and truthfully speaking the asking price for him isn’t that crazy. Uh Bugdanovich and Derrick Jones Jr. are heading back Sacramento’s way which are two pretty solid players. Um I think that for this Clippers team it’s not a bad idea to keep these players on the roster. Uh they provide some more depth. uh they’re a little bit younger as well and in case there is an injury to some of the older players that I’ve mentioned previously, there’s a pretty good replacement options for them at the guard or the wing position. So, you sacrifice depth here with this deal, but you get back the best player and for Demar Roen playing closer to home uh for the last little bit of your NBA career. It could be a dream come true uh for him and his family. So, a good move there from the Clippers perspective all things considered. Now, from the Kings perspective, you get back two pretty solid players uh that can provide that can provide a little bit more depth uh down this uh you know, Kings roster. Uh they also capitalize on, as I mentioned before, an aging player in Demar Rozan and getting back some good young talent. Not really young talent, some good middle-aged talent in return. They’ll make the team a little bit deeper at this point of their NBA career. So, not a terrible trade for either side. If I had to pick a winner, I’m going to probably go with the Clippers because it’s a pretty cool story. But, as always, leave your thoughts.
