San Antonio Spurs just built the NBA’s SCARIEST Defense! Wemby + Luke Kornet Are UNSTOPPABLE!

Welcome to NBA Hoops, where legends are made, rivalries ignite, and every buzzer beater writes history. Step into the heart of the game. This is more than basketball. This is NBA hoops. You might have these dudes thinking they could do it like we good. That’s [ __ ] up though, but that’s how that’s how the John Walter. Wow. So So back to Wimby. Wimby fully cleared. How far away realistically do you think the Spurs are for being a championship level roster? I think playoffs right now and this season is a good target to have. But if this young crew develops the way they’re hoping they can and Wimpby comes back and plays at the level we know he can play at, I’m going to say three years. Three, four years. So within three years, three years. Yeah. I mean, I like the Spurs system. So I know once they get them guys locked in, they young right now. But yeah, I’ll give them I mean because it’s going, you know, the Spurs like to bring guys in. Yeah. Playoffs for sure though. I got to make it in the playoffs for sure this year. Hey Wimy’s n legit playoffs or playing top six or they going to have to fight for probably get it. Okay. Well [ __ ] all of them did it. OKC making the playoffs Harper like seven or eight like James Harden but OKC’s main guy is 26. I know but I’m saying they OKC had like a rust that’s left that Fox sim similar to and they got Wimby like a KD and they bring James off the bench. So could be James. Okay. So they could do it. You can figure it out. All right. So what? Four. Four seasons ago. That mean six season. Mhm. Four or five. If Wim be healthy year three. Four or five. We feel like he’s competing for defensive player of the year. He’s going to be a defensive player of the year. But offense that the team just ain’t old enough yet for them. Like he been training with Shaol Lims with his he but they still need reps themselves. Three years. Okay. Three. Three years. Three years. Winnie be in three years will be like Shaq when Jordan retired. Trying to be the new Kareem. You know Kareem used to do karate and [ __ ] Yeah. You fought Bruce Lee. Yeah. They be like when Jordan retired and then Lakers’s favorite because they’re they had Shaq like but people don’t understand that part. Like Bulls was when Shaq got to LA it was Bulls. It was Michael Jordan. the day he retired, Lakers was favorite or um Shaq was favored to win the championship. They won, they had a lockout and that’s how Spurs got it because [ __ ] wasn’t healthy. Then that’s when Lakers started dominating. Um, in 3 years, I think Wimby himself will be dominant enough to control a game by himself offensively and defensively cuz defense I mean and then from there it’s with the guys that he got. You got a Carter Bryant with you. You got the Now you’re talking about like you’re talking damn near like Detroit when Reed Wallace got there. Now you’re really talking about holding people to that 90 100 points just off defense and then you can find a way to score. Oh, Portland and Pippen got Yeah, that’s you can find a way to score. But I didn’t think Yeah, remember them [ __ ] What? It was good. They added Pip and then don’t let them get a [ __ ] some another goddamn hybrid that can goddamn play defense, too. I think they will. But they going to pick up like that and and then just and then just say we’re going to lock everybody defensively. picked up like that on a real NBA player though. Who? Dylan Harper. Can’t try to do that [ __ ] 94 ft on um 94 I mean 94 ft on Brunson. Can’t do that on Bronson. Yeah, he can do that on Brunson cuz Brunson don’t have foot speed and Brunson’s not trying to use. Only people that are hurt Dylan is no momentum towards you though. Fox um Fox will kill him trying that [ __ ] Um Hi would [ __ ] him up trying that [ __ ] Ladies and gentlemen, the San Antonio Spurs are no longer the NBA’s underdog. They’re a ticking time bomb ready to detonate. The 2025 to 26s season marks a seismic shift for a franchise that’s been clawing its way back from a 34 to 48 record last year, haunted by Victor Webbyama’s health scare with blood clots. But let’s be clear, this isn’t a rebuild anymore. This is a revolution. With We WBY fully cleared, a young core of De’aran Fox, Stefon Castle, and rookie sensation Dylan Harper, the Spurs are poised to shake the Western Conference to its core. Are we witnessing the dawn of a new dynasty? Or will the weight of expectations crush this young squad? The numbers don’t lie. When Byama’s 22, five points, 10, eight rebounds, and three, eight blocks per game last season were just a glimpse of his potential. The Spurs are back and the NBA should be on high alert. But what’s fueling this resurgence? It’s not just Wembley’s return. It’s the legend who’s shaping his game. Let’s dive into a mentorship that’s sending shock waves through the league. Imagine Victor Wimyama, already a 74 defensive nightmare, training under the fiery guidance of Kevin Garnett, the NBA’s most intense competitor. Just 6 days ago, reports broke on X that KG is working directly with Wemi, molding him into a force that could break the league. Garnett, the 2008 defensive player of the year, has been a Webyama stand from day one, famously saying, “The league do too much. Oh, he was a rookie man. Forget that. If I was Wei, I’d come back and block five shots next year.” Now, KG is not just hyping. He’s coaching. From WMBB’s jaw-dropping shamgot against the Memphis Grizzlies called the craziest move Garnett’s ever seen from a big man to his blockfest against Rudy Gobear. This mentorship is a gamecher. Garnett’s defensive mentality paired with Wemb’s alien-like skill set could create a player who doesn’t just compete but dominates. The NBA isn’t ready for a Wembi with KG’s snarl. Weby’s defense is already elite, but he’s not alone in locking down the paint. Let’s unpack why the Spurs front court is the most terrifying in the NBA. Hold your breath because this stat will leave you speechless. According to BB All Index, Victor Webyama and Luke Cornett are the second and third most effective rim protectors in the NBA, trailing only Daniel Gaffford, that’s right, San Antonio has two of the league’s best big man defenders on one roster. Wembi with his four one to four three blocks per 36 minutes saves three points per 75 possessions at the rim contesting shots at an insane rate. Cornet the veteran with championship experience from Boston brings two one blocks per 36 minutes over the last three seasons. Last year the Spurs ranked fourth in blocks per game at 5. But their defense was a disaster. Tied for 22nd, allowing 55 points in the paint. No spur besides Wemby and Yakob Pol 3 years ago has matched Cornet’s block rate in recent seasons. Together they form a fortress that could suffocate opponents, stagger their minutes, and you’ve got elite rim protection for 48 minutes. This isn’t just a team. It’s a defensive apocalypse waiting to happen. The rest of the league is on notice. Defense wins games, but championships require offense. Can the Spurs young guns deliver the firepower to match their defensive might? Let’s find out. The Spurs aren’t just building for the future. They’re gunning for the present. Dearan Fox, locked in with a 4-year, $229 million extension, brought nine, seven points, and six, eight assists in his 17 games with San Antonio last season. His speed a nightmare for defenses. Stfan Castle, the 2024 to25 Rookie of the Year, averaged 14, seven points and four one assists, proving he’s a cornerstone. And then there’s Dylan Harper, the no two overall pick, who torched summer league for 16 points in just 22 minutes. Add Devin Vel’s 16 three points and Kell Johnson’s grit. And this guardheavy lineup is a scoring machine. Analysts are buzzing. The Spurs are a lock for the play in tournament with some bold predictions of a top six seed. But here’s the controversy. Are they overhyped or is this the year they rewrite the West’s hierarchy? The Thunder built a contender with a young core. Why can’t San Antonio? The talent is there, but the West is a war zone. This season will test their metal. Playoffs this year might be the goal, but the real prize is a championship. How close are the Spurs to that ultimate glory? Let’s look ahead. Here’s where things get electric. Analysts are calling it 3 years. That’s the window for the Spurs to become NBA champions. By Webanyama’s fifth season, he could be the league’s best player, a defensive player of the year lock, and a shack-like force on both ends. Picture Wemi at 24 controlling games with a 74 frame and a kgfueled mindset flanked by Harper and Castle hitting their primes at 22 and 23. Carter Bryant’s defensive tenacity and Fox’s veteran leadership could turn this team into a modern-day 2004 Pistons. Holding opponents to 90 to 100 points a night, the Spurs system thrives on development. And with Wemi training like a Shaolin monk, breaking boards with his mind, they’re building a juggernaut, but the West is merciless. The Thunder, Timberwolves, and Rockets won’t go quietly by 2030 to 31. Some predict a Spurs title with Wemi as the NBA’s new Kareem. The clock is ticking and the league is trembling. Will youth prevail or will inexperience be their Achilles heel? The future is bright, but the present is where it starts. Let’s wrap this up with why this season is the turning point for San Antonio. The San Antonio Spurs are standing at the edge of history with Webanyama fully healthy. Kevin Garnett’s mentorship igniting his fire and a front court that’s the envy of the NBA. This isn’t just another season, it’s a statement. The playin tournament is the floor, but a top six seed isn’t a pipe dream. The Spurs young core is ready to shock the world. And their defensive duo of Wemby and Cornet could make the paint a no-fly zone, but the West is a gauntlet, and every game will be a battle. In 3 years, Webanyama could be the NBA’s king, leading this roster to a championship. This season is the spark that could ignite a dynasty or expose the cracks in a team not yet ready for the spotlight. The Spurs are rising and the league is watching. 1. First!
Wemby-Sochan-Bryant-Castle-Fox in '26-27 is a title contender. Problem is G-Leaguer "coach" Mitch Johnson who hasn't a clue. He proved that OVER SIX MONTHS, not just a handful of games.

  2. 1st team: Victor Wembanyama, Luke Kornet, Carter Bryan, Stephon castle and De' Aaron Fox.
2nd team: Dylan Harper, Devin Vassel, Kelly Olynyk, Jeremy Sochan and Harrison Barnes.
3rd team: Keldon Johnson, Julian Champagnie, David Jones, Riley Minix and Charles Bassey.
