Who cares about the NBA cup. The Lakers won the first one and got bounced in the 1st rd. The Bucks won last year and got bounced in the 1st rd……..I'm sensing a pattern. I get they want to win those games because of the competitive West standings but nobody cares about it except for the 7-12 and two-way players and the owners. The 8 game road trip is diabolical and doesn't make logistic sense. Travel to Denver then back to LA for the Clippers then fly out the next day to Dallas????? Why not flip the Denver and Clipper games? The key is for Luka to be a top 2 MVP candidate all year and Lebron managing his chronic groin and ankle injuries that pop up every year. We will see if Reaves is worth the 30 mil….especially on that Grammy trip
I hate the concept of "scheduled losses" – a team who wants to be top tier needs to have a "we can beat anyone" attitude, not a "we're afraid of the best teams" mentality.
