Kyrie Irving gets real about playing with LeBron James and leaving Cleveland
Kyrie Irving on his Twitch stream was watching MJ and Kobe highlights and talked about how he would have liked to play with Kobe when a viewer commented saying if you don’t like playing with LeBron, you wouldn’t like playing with Kobe. And then that’s when Kyrie got real about playing with LeBron and leaving Cleveland. Somebody said somebody said if you don’t like playing with LeBron, you wouldn’t like playing with Kobe. Bro, you guys got to stop these narratives, man. It’s not that I didn’t like playing with Braun, you guys. And you know, I don’t want to go into detail about it. Some of y’all comments just be so asinine, bro. You know, like when I was in Cleveland and I was a young player, I had no idea Braun was gonna come back. [ __ ] I had no idea that Cleveland was going to welcome him back after the [ __ ] I witnessed when I was 18 years old and I had to watch him leave Cleveland. I don’t think you guys realize the depths of that. And during that time when I was in Cleveland, I had no say so in what was going on. I was just a young player. I signed my Max deal with Cleveland. I had no idea, man. I found out that Braun was coming back like the rest of you guys. Rest of you guys in the world. I had no inclination. I had no prep time to prepare. It’s not that it was on my bingo card like, “Hey, I’m going to spend my career playing with Braun.” Like, I I had no idea, guys. And just for somebody giving that comment, I appreciate you allowing me to go detailing is because reason why I say I would love to play with Co because I would have loved to have started my career with I love Cleveland, don’t get me wrong. I’m appreciative of all the things that they’ve done for me, but at the same time, I would have loved to choose the franchise I wanted to go to. You know what I’m saying? I would have loved to develop next to some of my favorite players and and some of my favorite people. Um, you know, cuz being a young player, when you’re on a a team that’s not winning a lot of games, it’s a lot of bad habits that form. And and that’s what ended up happening to me when I was very young. I had a lot of bad habits. I was not a a winner. I was not a a loser um you know, at all. Like I take my accountability. I had a lot of bad habits as a young player. And that came from losing games and just trying to get buckets all the time, right? I know it may have been beautiful for everybody to watch and getting all the highlights and getting all the accolades, but all I really wanted to do was win. I’ve won a high school championship, you know what I mean? My goal was to win a college championship and I’ve won an NBA championship. You know, for me, I’ve I’ve grown up in this industry or grown up in this culture as a winner. I’ve won a lot of games. I’ve lost a lot of games. You know what I mean? I’ve been to the finals. I’ve won in the finals. I’ve lost in the finals multiple times. So for me, I’m I’m happy with being able to get a chance to play with good teams, but when you guys make it about one player, it is kind of just weird. You know what I’m saying? Like it’s not just one player that you have to promote. Like we had good we had like solid players on our team, you know? And and I probably took that for granted more often. Like when we were really good, I was like, “Damn, we’re actually pretty good. We got a lot of veterans. We got a lot of people that commit to it.” But when you’re playing with somebody like Bronn or or somebody that you guys like to compare them to, it’s a different it’s a different animal. It’s a different it’s a different journey. You know what I’m saying? Like you’re automatically expected to be at the top of the charts, the top of the league. You know, every time you play LeBron, it’s going to be a lot of media attention. It’s going to be a lot of back and forth of narratives. It’s going to be about a lot of uh spun narratives. It’s going to be a lot of politics. It’s going to be a lot of [ __ ] that a lot of people don’t see in front of the camera. Um, and for me, I was just a young person trying to figure it out. You know what I mean? It’s not that I dislike playing with Braun at any time. It was just literally it was my time to move on. And that’s what people got to accept. They want a deeper detailed dive in terms of what happened. It’s like it was my time to move on. I don’t care if I remember it as that person. Like that was my decision. I wouldn’t I wouldn’t change Kevin. Garnett actually not. I don’t care. You guys can have your own opinions. It’s my life. It’s my career. No one could ever live in the shoes. No one could ever have anything that’s like legitimate to say or what they would have done in my position cuz you have no idea what you would have done. Good job. You have no idea what you would have done if you were in my position. You don’t know what the [ __ ] happened. So many media people that were commenting on [ __ ] So you have no idea what’s happening. And here you are just adding details to something that has nothing. Everybody was trying to guess. Everybody trying to figure out what’s going on. Unbelievable. History reminiscent of the game. When I’m done playing, you guys will hear the real story. Trust me, you guys will hear the real story. And I’m done playing for the next few years.

Bron had to leave to learn good habits from winners, came back from “college” with new knowledge and Kylie couldn’t embrace that. Learn your role. If I had a player of LeBrons that trusted me the he did Im staying.
Kyrie says a whole lot of words without saying anything
💩💩💩🧻🧻🧻🧻🗑🗑🗑🗑🗑🗑🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡
Nobody wants to play with LeFraud.
Lebron james 👑 💪
Nah the dude that commented on Kobe was right. Kyrie wouldn't have liked playing with Kobe Once Kobe was the #1 he wasn't relinquishing that for anyone, and the main reason Kyrie left Cleveland was him wanting to be the #1. also Kobe was tough to get along with, great player though obviously.
Man y’all need to be foreal 😂 Kobe and Kyries games do not match at all. He should be grateful LeBron came back while he was there.
I feel like he bout to retire out the blue in the next 2 years
I don't think he had good habits as an old player in Brooklyn.
I wouldn’t have liked playing with someone better than me too. I want to beat them. I want to be the centerpiece of the team, and all plays go through me. Win or lose.
Everybody know Kobe was a ball hog compared to Bron and this dude getting mad for getting called out 🤣
what is this 56 1/2p stream…is he streaming from a Nokia 3310? what's going on here
Excuse after excuses just take accountability
that comment section got him heated lol
I mean obviously, Kobe is his fav, if I recall right , there was a money issue and more or less all you here in these comments who eat players meat like LeBron and blame the team when they don’t win
Kyrie selfish asf 😂 fool could’ve won 2-3 rings easy
Kyrie basically was mad Lebron came back to Cleveland and wanted to be on a losing team being the number 1 option going nowhere , ok got it ! Lost a little respect for dude! Out of this world talent but mentally he just talks a lot !
He said he wanna CHOOSE his franchise. Sounds like Elon musk son saying he’d rather been bill gates son instead lol cry baby ahh
Kyrie is one of my favorite players but he kind of proved the commenters point, you didn’t like the noise around Lebron so he definitely wouldn’t of liked the noise around KOBE in LA. He probably would have just sucked it up though cause of his love for Kobe.
dawg kobe was in LA the media/narratives were gonna be worse imo
He was happy on a losing team playing a two man game with tristan thompson and alienating dion waiters…….lebron came along and changed the narrative and he wasnt trying to have it…….we dont know what happened exactly but everyone iany stupid…….dont hold your breath waiting on that post retirement truth to come out
he said a bunch of nothing
Kyrie already said he was in the wrong when it happened. He apologized about it as well. He already talked about this. This old
He said a whole lot of nothing 😂😂😂😂 nigga said he been to finals won all that was with LeBron you ain’t won since stfu😂😂😂😂
yo guys just now realizing kyrie talks but says nothing? he always been a pseudo intellectual
Lebron going to Dallas
Wait till you find out Klutch was behind those narratives.
Bron glazers are in here crying 😭😂
