WORST BASKETBALL SHOES OF 2025?!!!

Zion Williamson just dropped his new shoes, the Jordan Zion 4, and they’re already in contention for the worst basketball shoes of the year. You would think they would have learned from the threes and how atrocious they were and how much you slipped around like a slip and slide. But no, starting off with the first thing you’ll notice, the traction on these shoes, you’re slipping around just as much. And yes, this is on a clean court and you think, “Oh, yes, they are wider, but they made them worse. They slip off your feet like the GTO.” There’s no reason your shoe should end up in the hands of a Courtside fan. doing any simple dribble move or a jab step in these is actually kind of painful cuz your feet are constantly moving around. I had to keep readjusting them. Uppers of the shoe also don’t mold to your foot very well, but there is nice padding. I’ll give them that. The best part about the shoe is the cushion. They have a full length zoom strable, but they ruined it with an insole. You know, the last time they had a curved insole like this, the GTO at the very least. The insole is made out of cushion on 3.0, so it is a bit softer. These do protect your joints on landings, but honestly, you can barely get to the point of doing that in these shoes, so it’s pointless. The shoes kind of look cooler. They have Zion’s logo on the heel here. But honestly, just follow me to find out what some better basketball shoes are, or else you might end up like Zion with one shoe on the court.

    I feel like they tried to make them look like a cheaper version of the Jordan 40 but like crappyer in every way

    I was almost going to order these. Instead I went with the Kool-Aid x Ja 2 Mixed Berry and picked up a pair of Tie-Dye Monopoly Lebron 22’s because they were on sale.

    Bros remember, the athlete themselves rarely gets a say in anything but the aesthetics of a shoe.

    The features and performance of a shoe is most pf the time done by the company themseleves. Thats why you sometimes see players not wearing their own shoes or different models. Because even they dont agree with every decision the company they sign with makes.

    Nike is throwing out ass and whatever they want. We all know this. Zion is a questionable player but dont drop the shoe hate on him, drop it on niike.

    Nike can make shoes like kobes and lebrons that are amazing on court and then make shoes like this that are a straight up liability.
