NBA LIVE! Indiana Pacers vs Golden State Warriors August 16, 2025 Full Gameplay 2K26 Preseason
important in the NBA. It really is. I mean, there’s always the risk of guys getting hurt throughout the season. So, the teams know the value of having a very deep rotation and they make the most of their bench, which is smart. The starters for the Golden State Warriors, Curry and Pods, make up the back court. Green out there with Jimmy Butler and it’s heel in at the three. The shots good. Got to fight harder to get over those screens. Well, I’m going to credit the screen. I mean, that’s a good strong pick. He lays there. Now, here’s Pajki. And it’s Heel missing. Gets stolen by Heel in transition. Here they come. And he hammers it home to polish off the break. Getting it done. Heel doing it all on the break. Time now to hear from our reporter Ally Leforce. Rick Carile and I got a chance to talk for a bit. I asked him outright how he planned to deal with Steph Curry. How does anyone deal with him? Coach joked. He went on to say, “We’ll try to contest every shot and chase him off the ark, but emphasis on try.” Not easy to solve a problem with no good solution, I guess. Ba. All right. Appreciate it, Ally. Indiana shooting their first free throws. First trip to the line in this one. shooting two. First free throw is good. Now, the first seven and a half seasons of Pascal Seakum’s career were in Toronto. But Clark, a fresh start here with the Pacers. You know, it’s great for the Indiana Pacers because Pascal Seakum wanted to be part of this group. He saw a nucleus of young talent that had a chance to be competitive in the East and chase a championship. So, he signed a nice big contract this summer to remain a key contributor for them moving forward. Actually, he’ll be the hub of the wheel along with Tyrese Hallebertton. Here’s Curry. Oh, a clear foul there on the miss shot. So, he’ll get a pair at the line. That one on Nimhart. Well, there’s no question Pascal Seakum has raised the ceiling of this Pacers team. Yeah, absolutely. He complements Hallebertton’s uptempo style very well and defensively he shores things up with his ability to guard one through five. And that one falls for Curry. When you talk about shot mechanics, Curry is as close as you can get to perfect. I mean, you can tell he puts a lot of work into that part of his game and it pays off and he makes both free throws. That Grant, despite the Warriors success over the last decade, it hasn’t always been this way for this franchise. Yeah, they didn’t have many winning seasons before they got Steph, Clay, and Dre. And you know, BA, from 1978 to 2012, they made the playoffs just six times. Now, here’s Seakum outside. Nmith Nhard outside. Six on the shot clock. Second shot opportunity. Petty takes it up and lays it in. Just taking it right to the rim. And no one was there to greet him. Well, this early they should be showing a lot more energy on defense. It’s not there. Pass to Curry. Count it. Curry really runs the offense well. Knows exactly the time to either shoot it or give it up to his teammates. Nimhard. The pass to Siakum. Now Matherin defended by Pajki. Here’s Matherin. Back to Seakkum. Puts up a three. Drills it from deep. Seakum’s got five now. And Seakum is the total offensive package. A big man with post moves and a reliable jumper. Pass to Curry. Green. A screen. Curry shot is off. Pacers leading by three. Seakum in the post. Green re covering and the basket by Seakum inside. Seakum gets the better of the defense using his agility clearing himself a path to a shot. And Steve Kerr calls timeout here. He’ll take the opportunity to regroup. And one thing that Chiakob has always had a knack for, Grant, cutting to the rim and finishing plays. Yeah, he plays so well when he has space to move. He’s just great off the ball and that fits with any team. His ability to convert at the rim makes his cuts that much better. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. pass to heel. Tight the three. The rebound by Nimho. He didn’t make them pay for that weak defense, but they just can’t rely on him to miss those kind of shots. Seakum outside. And there’s a pick inside. Tipped outside. Pajki the floater. Oh, he missed it. Making him one for two now. And Seakova has got the ball here for the Indiana Pacers. Nimhard outside. Nmith on the wing. Back to Nimhard. Just five on the clock. In transition. Here come the Warriors. Back to Curry Green. A screen from the high post to get back on track. Sinks the tray. You’ve got to respect Green at the arc. If he gets open out there, he can make you pay. The Pacers have gone four of six in the first quarter. Has to huff. Now here’s Matherin defended by Pajki outside. Nmith. The three is up. The Warriors pull it in. Outside Curry. Here’s Pajki. He’s covered by Matherin. Back to Curry. Pulls up at the elbow and the jumper is good. And it’s a tie ball game. Are you serious? What a sweet move. Broke his ankles on that one. Outside Matherin back to Nimhard. Rebounded by Heield. Golden State has gone one for three from beyond the arc. Curry and unable to get the go-ahehead bucket there. And for the Pacers, they’re shooting a solid 50% of the opening quarter. Pass to Seakum. Nimhard outside for three. Matherin. Count it. One for one to start the game. He’s got that guard quickness. Maverin showing off his catch and shoot ability. Outside Pajki. The tear drop. The shot that time not on target. Well, you got to miss sometimes, but that one seemed like a gimme. Pass to Huff. Nimhard with it. He’s covered by Curry for three. Huff can’t get it to go. Warriors trail by three. Here’s Green. Huff pulls it in. Indiana has gone two for four from Range to start things off. Zakam gets the bucket. Attacking in the painted area. Clearly that was their game plan coming in. And the Warriors shooting just 36% here in the first quarter. Unloads from 13. That shot no good. Indiana leading by five. Down low. Here’s Nimhart. And he goes in for the dunk. Woo. Defensively, you can’t afford to let him get to the rim that easily. Well, that might be why their deficit is what it is right now. When you look at it, the communication is lacking, as is the trust. They can ill afford those types of breakdowns. It won’t work. You can’t win with those kind of breakdowns. And Steve Kerr calls timeout here. He’s going to talk it over with his guys. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. And the Pacers making a change here. McConnell’s checked in. Moody’s checked in for the Warriors. Here’s Moody. Left side. Pajimsky. Outside heel pass to Moody. Outside Pajki. Five to shoot. Shoots over McConnell. And again, no good by Golden State. Boy, he’s got to be kicking himself for failing to make that shot. That’s money. And the Pacers started last season all offense. Grant, but even they knew that would not be sustainable. Yeah, Coach Carlau plotted them to at least get to average on the defensive end, and there’s no question they have the tools to do it. One shot. And so it’s Golden State with it. It’s a 10-point game. McConnell against Curry out to heel to halt the run. Gets hauled in by McConnell. And you never want to give a shooter like him a clean look. Now here’s Nimhard. Defense right on him. McConnell passes to Huff. Now Siakum clock at six over Green. Seakum no good. Great defensive effort to lock down the paint. Impressive work protecting the basket. He held his ground nicely on that one. A chance here to catch up with Ally from the sideline. Brian, the Pacers love to push it up. Tyresese Hallebertton said it’s our biggest strength. Teams don’t want to run with us. They know when you play us. Have your tattoos ready. Especially if you’re coming off of a back to back or you have a pack schedule. You do not want to see us, Brian. They have their identity. No doubt about that. And it starts with him. Warriors trail by 12. Trying to find a spark here. Yes, indeed. A rough stretch offensively. They could really use a basket. Heel for three. And the three-pointer goes. He’s got five. A very efficient range shooter. You expect He’ll to take these shots. Seakum outside. Nimhard outside three-pointer. Matherin. He’s in his comfort zone. Two for two to start this one. Building a big advantage early with a terrific allaround performance. Yeah, you know, they’ve had the advantage at both ends. They’ve got all the momentum early on. Now here’s Pachki. No made baskets yet. Pass to Curry. Launches a three. Pascal Siaka with the rebound. Seakum’s got a rebound number eight here already in the game. McConnell with it and it’s heel picking him up. Huff the pass to Matherin and the layup is good. Give him eight points now. Great body control allows Matherin to finish through contact. Warriors trail by 14. Pass to Curry. Green a screen goes up on the baseline. Curry gets the bucket. Pick works well there, but the defense left a lot to be desired. Yeah, that’s not the defense you need. You got to be tougher defensively. And we’ll have a timeout here. Called by Rick Carile. He wants a few moments to regroup with his players. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. So Indiana going with an almost entire new group here. Jackson, he’s checked in for Huff. Toppen comes in for Seakum. Nesmith, he’s checked in for Matherin. And it’s Shepard in for Nimhart. Here’s McConnell. And here’s Jackson. 127 left to play in the first quarter. Well, that was clearly a foul. Yeah, he took a shot there. Earned those free throws. First trip to the free throw line for him in this one. Shooting two. That free throw no good. Good on the second one. We’ve got 123 left in the opening quarter. Jackson Davis’s screen pass to post over to the wing to the inside releases. Oh, it’s blocked by Jackson. And so it looks like the Warriors will retain possession here. Six to shoot. Here’s Curry. Count it. Make that three of seven so far for him. Hey, inside. Curry has all the tricks. Floers, scoop shots, fall aways, left hand, right hand. However he has to do it, he will. Here’s Shepard. There’s a screen by Toppenhen. releases and it’s Shepard missing. The defensive breakdown gives him a wideopen look, but he can’t take advantage pass to post outside. Curry from deep three-point range. Here’s Jackson Davis and he got the whistle on the way up. So, he’ll be headed to the line for a pair. It’s his first trip to the line. And guys, that was an element of his game that he could not get turned around. I mean, he was really in a funk and it lasted all season. That one misses. And he’s good on the second. 30 seconds left in the first quarter. McConnell against Curry outside kneesmith. Pass to Shepard. Now here’s McConnell. Top of a screen on Curry from about 16. Jackson Davis grabs a miss. Here’s Santos over Jackson. That misses. Would have counted had it gone. And so it’s Pascal Seakum making highlights for Indiana between his scoring and rebounding. An excellent period. We’ll be right back after this word. Great to have you with us. Second quarter of basketball. This game has not exactly been neck and neck, but plenty of time left in this one. And some stats here, guys. The scoring breakdown for the Pacers. You know, so far in this one, these guys have been knocking it down from distance. You’ve got to like their confidence as this game continues. They’re on a nice roll. Another area where they’ve excelled has been pushing it on the break. They’re really getting after it. On the floor for the Warriors, we’ve got Trace Jackson Davis. Stephen Curry is out there with Moody. And it’s post in at the five. Here’s Curry. Curry at the rim. Well, Grant, with players getting bigger and more athletic, do you support moving the restricted area out? Yeah, BA, I would. We’ve seen a lot of injuries when defenders slide underneath elevated players on the drive. So, cutting down that risk makes a lot of sense. And here’s Shepard for three. Jackson Davis grabs a miss. And Curry’s got the ball here for the Golden State Warriors, trailing by eight. Jackson Davis’s screen puts up a deep three and Tophen pulls it down. Indiana’s gone three of six from deep so far. Nesmith passes to back to Nmith. Jackson the screen to the middle. Indiana needs to get a shot off. N Smith’s shot is off where the defense refusing to give up anything easy. Love seeing that kind of intensity. Curry against McConnell. Oh, Curry just nasty from downtown. As a defender, it’s got to be a feudal feeling when Curry’s in the zone like this. Pass to Toppenhen. Here’s Shepard. Now knee Smith. Here’s Shepard. Moody defends. Coffin passes to McConnell. Jackson the screen. There’s the triple. Halled in by Curry. Warriors trail by five. Fires from deep. No good. He’s shooting five for 12 so far for Indiana. They’ve got none of their first three shots to fall so far in the second. Curry against McConnell. Switch pass to Denise Smith. And a little under two and a half minutes gone by here in the second quarter. Top a screen on Curry. Shot clock at five. Here’s McConnell. Another miss. They desperately need a bucket. And he’s going for the lob. Curry shot is off. Indiana leading by five. Here’s Shepard yet to see a basket. Pass to the paint. Here’s Nmith. Jackson Davis grabs a miss. Jackson Davis has got five rebounds tonight. Curry goes in, uses the glass on the layup. Curry does not just hurt you from deep. He is a clever finisher on the drive. Lethal at penetrating and finishing. Here’s Shepard to the middle. Toppin shot is off. Warriors trail by three. Here’s Moody. Close in. Moses Moody. You know, Steph Curry is not always looking for his next shot. He’s got a selflessness about him that’s um inspiring. And we’ll have a timeout here. Called by Rick Carile. He’s going to gather the troops and talk it over. Things just aren’t going their way. He clearly wants to talk it over. And you know what, guys? If for nothing else, just to slow things down a little bit, change it up somewhat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Walker. He’s checked in for Indiana. Greens checked in for the Warriors. Pajimsky comes in for Santos. And almost four minutes gone in the second quarter of play. To do passes to McConnell and here’s Jackson the screen to win the cold spell and that’s two points on the layup and the Pacers lead by three. And once more this half they find a way to get great position inside. Green the pass to Curry. Here’s Post. Outside for Green. Pass to Post. Three-pointer. Walker pulls down the board. Pacers leading by three. And here’s Jackson. Green covering. the three from Curry and that comes off the assist by Green. Curry’s got 18. And a closer look here at the hustle stats for the Warriors. Well, you know, they’ve been aggressive on the defensive end and it’s paying off on quite a few takeaways for them in the early going. And also, I haven’t seen a lot of resistance from the defense when it comes to limiting their points in transition. Now, here’s McConnell. Got it. Good job in the low post. McConnell’s got his second basket of the game. Got to fight harder to get over those screens. Well, I’m going to credit the screen. I mean, that’s a good strong pick. He lays there. Here’s Penski. He’s scoreless. Outside Moody. Green for three. Pacers with a rebound. They’ve led by as many as 14. Inside, here’s Jackson. Oh, the lead pass was in the perfect spot to set up the layup. And it’s a four-point Pacer lead. Man, what a pass that was there. He really, really relishes making the game easier for his teammates. Back to Pajimski. Outside Green. Four on the clock over Toppen. A rebound by Jackson. Indiana leading by four. Oh, what a performance offensively. They’re really rolling at that end. Excellent game plan and placed on a whistle there on what looks like an illegal screen. Well, the league has put an emphasis to crack down on illegal screens. Yeah, you know, he might have gotten away with that a few years ago, but not anymore. No way. Now you’ve got to be stationary on those screens. No extra hips or elbows or they’ll call it. Jimmy Butler’s checked in for the Warriors. Healed comes in for Moody. Curry shot his own. And so it’s Walker with it. He brings it up for the Pacers. They lead by four. And then Seakam with the jam. The defense just can’t let Seakum get inside positioning like this because he’s looking to dunk it home. Now here’s Heel. He’s got five. The three from Curry hits the three-pointer. Curry’s got 21 points in the game. You want to run your offense through him. A reliable scoring option. Pass to Walker. Now here’s Seakum. And it’s out of bounds. They say it was last touch by Seakkum. The Pacers making a switch here. Warriors trail by three. Heel to the ball. Seakum covering outside. Pajki. down low out to Heel. There’s the three. Pacers with a rebound. And he probably thought he was going to bury that one. You know, to be a high volume shooter like Buddy Heel, you have to have a lot of self-confidence, Clark. Well, not just self-confidence, BA, you better have the ability to knock down shots. And Buddy Heel has that in spades. He can get it done from any direction he needs to. Going right, going left off the catch. He can dribble into the three on occasion. That shot he’s got is pure. Now here’s Pajki. Still no points. Pass to Heel on the wing. Green. He’s covered by Seakkum. The shot by Pajimky. No good. Indiana leading by three. Here’s Seakkum over Green and the basket by Seakkum. Seakum’s got 13. If certain nights Seakum takes over, he’s been aggressive here from the tip outside. Pachki from outside the ark. The three dropped in by Jimmy Butler. And that’s on the defense giving him a decent look. That’s his shot. Pass to Huff. Now here’s Matherin guarded by Heel on the wing. Nimhart. He shoots. His fourth make in five tries. Solid start for him. Warriors trail by four. outside. Pajimki back to Curry. Green a screen. Curry passes to Green. Oh, Green dropping the hammer. Curry’s got such a great feel and understanding of the game. I mean, he can make a lot happen in the pick and roll. has to huff to the inside and the rebound goes to the Warriors. This game is so close. One or two plays could make the difference. It’s so imperative to try to make each trip count. And here’s Pajki from downtown. Back to Curry. Green a screen puts up a deep three. Curry shot is off. Indiana leading. McConnell outside. Pass to Matherin. 149 left to play in the second quarter. Boy, that’s a rebounding clinic right there. He boxed out and then went up aggressively and strong for it. left side. Green. Oh, Green flexing on him with the strong finish. And Green loves flexing on the defense. Welcomes the contact and overpowers it. Maverick gets healed. And he was fouled in the active shooting. Opportunity for a three-point play here. I like the play call. Very solid. making perfect use of the pick to get a great look. Well, Clark talking about Benedict Mathan. He’s another great young Canadian player. Yeah, they’ve got a ton of them coming from north of the border. PA, I mean, Matine, you got RJ Barrett, SGA, Shay Gilis, Alexander. I mean, at this point, you could probably fill a couple of rosters with highlevel players that come from Canada. Mathan no good on the free throw. Boy, you look at the toolkit Matan has coupled with his production and his maturity. Boy, he’s got a chance to dominate in this league. Now, here’s Moody down low. Pass to Green to the middle. Butler. He’s too much close to the rim. Easy to see why Butler gets so much respect for his competitiveness. I mean, he thrives at finishing through contact outside Mining. 44 seconds left in the second period. And for the Warriors, they’re shooting just under 40% from the field. Oh, Butler. What a dunk. Butler knows what he can do inside that time. Erupting for a throw down. Indiana trailing here. Seakum outside. Oh, it’s blocked by Green to the paint. Here’s Kimki. Got a hand on it. Seakum with it. 13 points in the game. Nice move and he can’t get that one. Stephen Curry getting it done for the Golden State Warriors and that quarter was all about him leading the comeback charge. Now they’re up in this one. All right, now let’s check in with Ally Leforce. Ally, what do you have? Thanks so much, Rick. What did you think of your team’s offensive execution in the first half? We got to get it moving more. We got to get it driven more. Uh they’re very physical. You try to run plays, they blow all that stuff up. And so bottom line with our offense, we got to give some more stops. That’ll help our offense. Defense leads to offense. Thanks, coach. All right, Ally. Thanks for that. We will see everyone right back after this break. Ready for the second half. Heat. Heat. All right. And we’re halfway through this one. Plenty of basketball left in a game that’s been a fairly even one. Stephen Curry having a dominant impact in this game. Yeah, tonight he’s done a great job of slashing through the lane and finishing. Yeah, you know what, guys? They gave him too many free runs to the hoop in the first half. I think they’ve got to be a lot tougher on him. Body him up, be physical with him. And so it’s Golden State with it. Two-point game. Matherin at the two with Nesmith at the three. Then there’s Andrew Nimhard. Then it’s Pascal Seakum. And it’s Huff and at the center position locking down the middle. That’s the five for the Pacers. Well, you got to stay grounded on that pump fake. Butler really effective at getting the defender to jump into his space. These are his first free throws of the game. Yeah, you know, that was one spot where they didn’t have to worry about him at all. I mean, at the free throw line, he was automatic shooting two. First one falls. What I love about Jimmy Butler, there’s a lot to like, but he brings it every night. His consistency and toughness and production, plays with passion, leads his team well. Love that throwback mentality of his. That’s also good. So, he hits both free throws. Two-part equation. You have to be aggressive enough to get to the line, then talented enough to sink. Now, here’s Matherin defended by Pimpsky. Gets the three to fall. Seakum’s got 16 points and just so accurate off the pass. I mean, I love whenever Seakum decides to go right up with it like that. Outside PJsky pass to Heel and here’s Curry for three. Huff pulls it in. Yeah, and the defense has really got to tighten up on him. I mean, he’s just too dangerous from the three-point line. Nhard, the pass to Huff. Now here’s N Smith. Now Seakum. Clock at four. Here’s H. It’s stolen by Green. Oh, what a fast break for the Warriors. Oh, Draymond finishing himself. You can’t forget where Green is in transition because he keeps himself ready to score in these situations. Pass to Huff outside. Maverin and here’s Nimhard. He’s covered by Curry inside. Huff good. When it’s this close, every bucket matters. You need good looks. There’s the whistle on the shot. So, two free throws for him coming up. McMatherin picks one up. Exactly. The defense determined not to allow the easy layup right there. They’ll settle for making him earn the free throws. Take a break. Take a break. Two shots. And the first one at the line is good. Good on both. Here’s Nesmith. Still without a bucket. Pass to Huff. And we’re just about 2 minutes into the second half. Now for the tie and he drains it. A solid five for six now. When Matan’s creating for his teammates, his offensive impact goes way up. And Curry’s got the ball here for the Warriors. and he sinks the 11-footer. Curry’s got 23 points. Showing off the dribble moves, able to create for himself. I love and we’ll have a timeout here. Called by Rick Carile. A moment to rest and confer on the game plan. What you want to do? Heat. Heat. All right. Heat. Heat. Heat. A touch over two and a half minutes of basketball played here in the third quarter. Pass to Seakkum. Back to Nesmith. Now Nimhard. He’s covered by Curry. Shot clock at six. Shot from the top of the key and stolen by Green and he’s going to the line for two. The officials saw contact while he was going up. Nice work that time by Draymond to draw the foul while in the act of shooting there. First trip to the free throw line for him in this one. Shoot two. That free throw no good. There’s always a spot for a guy like Draymond Green on your side. Incredible defender. He’s unselfish offensively and a highly skilled passer. He hits the second from the line. Second half of play and we’re three minutes into the third here. Seakum outside kneesmith. Nails it from three. Got to fight harder to get over those screens. Well, I’m going to credit the screen. I mean, that’s a good strong pick. He lays there. The Warriors have got two of three from the floor in this third quarter. And you think about the value Andrew Nimhard provides. Clark, he really excels at running the offense. He’s the quintessential point guard. BA has a great feel for setting up his teammates for what they’re trying to get done. Plays with tremendous pace and great great confidence. typically doesn’t over dribble and is unafraid of any moment. Now here’s Nhard. 11 points in the game and he misses the go-ahead basket. Well, the Warriors shooting 40% from the field in this one. Here’s He rejected by Seakum and their coaching staff, they love this. I mean, Seakum, he’s engaged, aggressive, just getting after it on the defensive end. Seakum with a screen on Curry. Pass to Matherin driving inside. Six on the shot clock that gives him the lead. Matherin’s got 12 points. And a chance to catch up on some numbers here. The hustle stats for Indiana. Phenomenal work on the defensive end so far. That stands out the most. They’ve made it their mission to block shots and make things hard for the opposition. Yeah. One thing I think they should continue doing is attacking the break because right now this defense has no answer for them when they do this. Buries it from three. And now it’s a five-point Indiana lead. And right now Matherin is on a roll. This young guy continues to do whatever he wants. It’s Pajki on the wing. He’s covered by Mather Curry. He’s open. Plenty of room to knock down that one. Curry’s got four points this quarter. That’s a textbook example of how to move the ball. Boy, you got to love that action. Seakum looking it over down low and stolen by Green outside heel. And so he draws the foul. Headed to the line to shoot a pair. Aaron Nith picks one up. He so good at finding ways to get it in the hoop regardless of who’s defending. It’s his first trip to the line. shooting two and he knocks down the first one. Everybody knows about how Buddy Heield is an incredible three-point threat, but what I love, here’s a guy with a bunch of years playing 80 or more games. Love that durability. He’s ready to go whenever they call his name. He hits them both. The Pacers have gone six of seven and appearing confident in this half. Nimhard the pass to Nmith to the paint. Here’s Matherin and no good. Great D that time from Pajimski. Now here’s heel. He has seven to the inside for Green. And it’s hammered home by Green. Green showing you some real attitude on that throw down. Nhard outside Min. They set the pick. Just five to shoot. No good on the triple. The Warriors have gone four of eight in the third. Oh, and Green hits the shot despite the contact inside. Green can be very aggressive and physical, allowing him to do work scoring the ball. Here’s Huff. And yep, that’s going to be a flagrant one. Unnecessary contact. He might be lucky just to get a flagrant one there. Lots of contact on that play and the officials could have gone with a more severe call. Well, he better be on his best behavior from this point forward. One more flagrant of any kind and he’s out of this game. First one falls for him. And so he hits both. Tophen, he’s checked in for Indiana. McConnell comes in for Matherin. And Golden State also making a switch. Moody’s checked in. And we’ll have a timeout here. Called by Rick Carile. And we might see some changes. Coach potentially looking to adjust. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Nimhard outside. There’s a screen by Tophen. And out of bounds, the Warriors will take it. Here’s Curry. 25 points in the game. Outside Green. outside. Pajki off target from outside. Indiana has gotten four threes to fall out of five attempts here in the third. Pass to Nhard outside. Nmith and Indiana misses again. Defense dodged a bullet that time. Total breakdown. And he drives in. Yep, that one’s good. 13 points in the game. No stopping this guy. I mean, even when you knock Butler around a little bit, he’s got the brute strength to power his way through to the middle. Here’s Huff and he dunks it. What a pass to set him up. And once he gets to the rim, it’s fairly automatic. Nothing fancy right there. Just takes his two points, moves on. Hey guys, I know I’m stating the obvious here, but those could be an important two points considering how close this game is. Man, he made sure to get his money’s worth on that foul. He got him good there. I mean, that’s why the shot was so far off. And let’s quickly check out the scoring breakdown here for the Warriors. Just a great job running the floor in transition. Now, he realized they were tiring out the defense early and they took full advantage. And the defense has been disrupted, forcing turnovers, challenging shots. The turnovers they’ve been able to turn into points, too. and he makes a first. And some changes here for the Pacers. Jackson, he’s checked in for Huff. And it’s Shepard in for Nissman. And the Warriors making a change here. Canoe makes both from the line. Pacers trail by three. McConnell outside. Back to Nimhard. Pass to Shepard. Down to five on the shot clock. And they’re unable to get the time bucket there. Oh, and he got fouled on his way up. He’ll head to the line to shoot two. Well, I like how Butler uses his body in the paint. Excellent at forcing the issue and getting the call close to the rack. He’s had four chances at the line. He’s made them all. Shooting two. Then he drops a first. both good from the line that time. And here’s Nimhard. 11 points in the game. Pass to McConnell. Back to Nimhart from deep. It’s rebounded by Golden State. Jackson Davis has got his eighth rebound here tonight to the inside of Takajimski. Oh, plenty of contact on that shot. Officials call the foul and he’ll take two free throws. I don’t think you can get too physical with Butler because he’s so smart and clever in how he gets into the defender to draw the foul. Shooting two. First free throw is good. Second free throw. No good. Pacers trail by six. Here’s Shepard. Jackson Davis grabs a miss. Jackson Davis has got nine rebounds in the game. Boy, he’s getting it done. Now here’s Pachki. He’s marked by McConnell out left to the wing. Pass to Jackson Davis. Fires the three. Pacers with a rebound. Jackson’s got four rebounds in the game. Over to the left wing. with it from 13 and down it goes. Two points. Give him 20. Keep somebody on Butler. If you lose track of him, he’ll nail shots like that. Jackson, the screen. Nimhard. Just a great decision and a perfect delivery. And they’d love to see every possession in this way. true team basketball. With three quarters behind us, let’s see what this fourth period holds in store. On the court for Golden State to start the fourth, they’ve got Moses Moody. Zoe gets them both. The Warriors lead by eight. Outside Moody. Pass to Santos. Now Moody fires the three. Ooh, the smooth three from Moody. Now you have to extend that defense. With the explosive leaping ability, he’s able to play center despite being undersized. The Warriors shooting at about 44% so far. To the paint. Here’s Jackson Davis. The officials were right on top of that one. Clearly a foul. I mean, didn’t give him any choice but to blow the whistle. I mean, you got to play without fouling. Take a break. Take a break. Two shots. And the first one at the line is good. Both shots good from the strike. A touch under two and a half minutes of pass now here in the fourth. McConnell against Curry. Pass to Pajimsky. Jackson Davis a screen inside. Oh, and there’s a one-hand jam. Nice one-handed jam there, BA. Hey, little exclamation point. Hey, they’ve got a nice comfortable lead here, fellas. Might as well keep it simple. Do it a plain simple one-hander just like Pound. Got to fight harder to get over those screens. Well, I’m going to credit the screen. I mean, that’s a good strong pick. He lays there pass to post over Jackson. Indiana with a rebound. Jackson’s got rebound number eight here already in the game. Walker passes to Jackson to the paint. Here’s to Yes. He wants their game plan to be crystal clear at this point. Heat. Heat. So, Indiana ends up going with a new group. Let’s check in with our reporter Ally Leforce. Well, over the break, I listened in on Rick Carile’s huddle. He told his guys to up their aggressiveness on the defensive end, saying, “This game is all about who can get stops right now. I need you guys to bring some more energy on defense. That’s how we’ll get this win.” Guys, great work, Ally. Thanks. Outside pass to Seakum. Another shot and the layup is good. Second chance points are always painful. Have to make the effort to box out. Hey, guys standing around spectating, I mean, you got to get in there and get tough. Kajjimky with it. The shot comes out. Excellent D there from Siakum. and good. Got the friendly bounce off the right side of the rim and now just a five-point Warrior lead outside. Pajki pass to Heel from behind the ark. Counted from distance and the Warriors lead by eight. Talk about being shot ready. He’ll catches and fires as fast as pretty much anybody in the league. Now Siakum and that one drops for him. Seakum’s got six here in the quarter and you know he’s finishing when he gets that close. Count it. And it’s out of bounds. The Warriors able to retain possession here. He had the right idea. Just couldn’t come up with the swipe. You know fellas, one second quicker and that’s going the other way. Here’s PMski. Curry passes to Heel. Green a screen. Here’s the three and it’s heel missing. And he almost made them regret defending him so loosely. Saka in the post. The layup misses and the shooter had very little space on that attempt. And guys, that’s exactly the kind of high impact defense they want to see out of him. Oh, Curry just weaving his way through traffic. Still knocks it in. Love the intensity from Curry. Finding a way to work through the contact. Here’s Seakkum. Warriors with the rebound. They’ve led by as many as 11. Pass to Green outside heels. There’s 38 seconds left in the fourth quarter here. And guys, that’s got to be the dagger. This is how you finish a game. Yeah, what a time to put the hammer down. Any hope of a comeback diminished. And so it’s Green who brings up the ball for the Warriors. 10-point lead. Good Jimsky shot is good. They really came in with the right mindset today. I can guarantee you their flight home will be filled with some smiles. Yep. To have a stressfree win on the road, very satisfying. The fans are already headed for the exits. Good. And so Golden State takes this one. And by a big margin, they have to feel good about this performance. It’s one they can be proud of. Very true. I mean, when you’re out on the road, the winds can feel a little sweeter. This one has to feel extra special. All right, Alli’s ready to go. She’s courtside. Hey, Ally. Jimmy, congrats on the win. What did it take to get it done tonight? a lot of heart. My teammates fought hard throughout the whole game and everybody had a tough match up and manned up and at the end of the day we do what we supposed to do. Congrats on the win. All right, Ally. Thank you. And that about wraps it up for Clark Kellogg, Grant Hill, and Ally Leforce. This is Brian Anderson. Thank you for watching. And time now to introduce our player of the game, Stephen Curry.
