Everything you need to know about the NBA schedule for the Knicks. This is one of my favorite times of the year, the release of the official NBA schedule for next season. It helps us understand what to expect moving forward and what to look out for. Now, I’ve already spoken about opening night, Christmas Day, and some other key dates to watch out for, but when the full NBA schedule was released, they also announced some big changes coming for next season. But before we get to what those changes are, let’s first talk about the Knicks and their official NBA schedule. This is the part of the video where you pause it and you look at each and every individual date and what games you want to look out for. I love this breakdown that the Knicks gave us this year because now it’s very clear to see how many away games we have and how many home games we have. Normally they don’t release the NBA schedule like this or oftent times it doesn’t look like this right away but thankfully as soon as the NBA schedule dropped for New York we saw this type of schedule released and it’s my favorite type to look at. Now I know what you’re thinking. This is the NBA schedule. And while I’m glad to look at it and break it down, you want to know what the changes are headed into next season. So, without further ado, let’s break down exactly what those changes are going to be. And this, without a doubt, will be the biggest change next season for the NBA. Here is the official 2025 2026 NBA season watch guide. This was provided by the NBA. As you can see here, on Sundays, NBA games will be streamed and available on ABC/NBC and Peacock. On Monday, you’ll see NBA games on Peacock. On Tuesday, it’s going to be more NBA games on NBC/Pacock. On Wednesday, that’s when ESPN comes in. And then on Thursday, possibly the biggest change of all, bye-bye TNT and Hello Amazon Prime. They will dominate Thursday nights. They will also be dominating Friday nights along with ESPN. Then on Saturday, you still have Amazon Prime, but you also have ABC2. And if that wasn’t enough changes for you, shout out to NBA Central on the app X for giving us this following information. This also tells you that for the Knicks next season, things are very different. Take a look at this. National TV games for the following teams. For the Thunder, and again, they’re the reigning defending champions. the Golden State Warriors, the Los Angeles Lakers, and the New York Knicks. All of these teams are going to be playing 34 games next season on national television. Last year, I’m not sure what it was for New York. I don’t think it was 34. Now, I’m sure it was high. I’m pretty sure it was one of the top teams in the NBA in terms of nationally televised games. But headed into this season, they are tied for the top games that are going to be seen on national television in terms of the top teams in the league. We’re talking about the reigning defending champions in OKC, they have 34, but the Lakers and the Knicks, of course, they have 34 games as well. And it’s not only because they’re the Lakers and the Knicks. It’s also because they have a legit chance to win everything next season. Go all the way to the NBA finals. And the NBA giving them 34 games a piece. This is respect. Finally, some respect on the Knicks name by the NBA. And I love it. This is a very welcome change. And look at this, even more respect for the Knicks. We already know it’s going to be New York versus Cleveland on opening night on October 22nd, but as you can see here, they are featured on the NBA/ Amazon Prime schedule highlights. It’s going to be them against the Boston Celtics at 7:30 p.m. Eastern time during opening week on October 24th. And if you look through this schedule in terms of every single bracket besides one bracket in December, the Knicks are featured in each and every one of them. That is absolute respect. Headed into next season. You also see there the NBA Cup championship is on December 16th. The playin tournament is from April 14th to April 17th. And the NBA playoffs begin on April 18th. That’s a lot of information. And if we were done here, you guys would probably understand that. But thankfully, we’re not done. We have even more information about the Knicks and their schedule for next season. Shout out to New York basketball on the app X for giving us this following information. According to them update, looks like MSG will broadcast 13 Friday night Knicks games. That is amazing news. For anybody who doesn’t know, the Knicks will be playing 16 games on Friday nights. However, the 16 games, they’re likely going to be on Amazon Prime, but 13 of those games will be on MSG. So, we still have Friday Night Knicks. We’re still gonna be hearing that Friday Night Knicks theme, and I can’t wait for next season to start, but we also have other updates there. Shout out to Steph Bondi with the New York Post for giving us more information about the Knicks and how many back-to- back games they’re going to be playing next season. According to Bondi counted only 12 back-to back sets for the Knicks next season. A very reasonable number, but some include some brutal traveling. Home versus Houston, 8:30 p.m. tip off. Then at Chicago, then the other backto back at Toronto 7:30 p.m. Then home at OKC. Oh my goodness, that is a very brutal travel schedule. Then the next one here, home versus the Pacers, 7:30. And then at Memphis the next night, that is hectic travel for New York. Even though they only have 12 backto backs, some of these backto backs are very brutal indeed. And I don’t know about you guys, but this schedule update really hurts the heart just a little bit. The Knicks play at 12:30 p.m. on Super Bowl Sunday, and the Knicks take on the Celtics on ABC before the Super Bowl on February 8th. Listen, I understand you want to maximize viewership. I get it. That’s why you’re gonna put those NBA games on when you’re gonna put them on. But as a fan of both sports, can we not do this? I’m already covering and watching so many things now on Super Bowl Sunday. You want me to have to host a party, watch a Knicks game, and still watch the Super Bowl? I’m going to be running thin as it is. Now, with all of these updates, I’m going to be running on fumes. I’m sure some of you guys who are going to be doing the exact same thing, you can relate. Sometimes it’s okay to not have multiple sports on the same day. If you can help it, if you can separate it, then do it. And as we spoke about earlier on in the show, the NBA Cup will be next season. It is coming back again. And it is something that we all have to look at and be interested in. It may not be a championship. It may not be that level, but winning the NBA Cup, it’s legit. It matters. And shout out to channel sponsor FanDuel for giving us the following information and these updated odds on who’s going to win the 2025 NBA Cup. According to FanDuel, OKC is at the top of the list as the favorites at plus450. But then, as you can see, right after them, as a very close second, you have the New York Knicks at plus 550. Then the Cleveland Cavaliers at plus 600. Everybody else after these three are more or less a long shot. Orlando plus,00 Nuggets plus 1,200. The Atlanta Hawks plus300. It’s not even worth talking about. This is a threeman race. OKC, the New York Knicks, and the Cleveland Cavaliers. And all of them have a very good chance to win the NBA Cup. And it’s really no surprise, is it? The teams right now that are favored to win the NBA Cup, at least according to FanDuel, they are also favored to win it all. to win the NBA finals, that matters, too. And I think it goes a long way to tell you during the regular season, even though it may not mean the same amount as a regular championship does, that NBA cup, if you win it, it also potentially predicts who’s going to be in the race for the NBA Finals. Imagine if the Knicks become the first team ever to not only win the NBA Cup, but also to win the NBA Finals in the same season. I like the sound of that. I like the sound of history being made. And even better, I like the sound of history being made by the Knicks. I can feel it. Something good is coming. Something special is coming for this Knicks team next season, and I can only hope and pray it’s a championship. But what about you guys? What do you think about the Knicks releasing their full NBA schedule? And what about the big changes that have been announced for next season? not only how to watch, but also the number of national television games the Knicks will be playing at 34, tying the most games that any team will be playing next season. Let me know in the comments section below, guys, how you feel about all of these updates because honestly, I would love to hear from you. But that’s going to do it for this episode. I hope you enjoyed it and if you did, go ahead and smash that like button, leave a comment below, and of course, guys, please subscribe to the channel. Until next time, Nick fans, take care of yourself, your families, and each other. Peace and love.

Yo Troy what’s your official winning projection for the Knicks I’m saying 55 wins because I feel like there could be some injures and growing pains along the way if this team stays healthy this could be a 60 win team but I’m going 55
I agree with you Troy 💯 👍🏿 Really feel like Mike Brown was the Right ✅️ choice for our team 💯🫡
I think we can get the number one seed and 60 wins
This always confuses me, which games will be on MSG? Will it be worth it to get the MSG sub this year?
I am going to miss "NBA on TNT" this season.
It won't be the same. 😢
I wonder how Shaq, Chuck, & Kenny going to do on ESPN working with Stephen A Smith and Perkins?
Good, Silly & Stupid.
Mostly Messy 😝
Robert Randolph Friday night Knicks is coming back soon
Great video great information but I’m more anxious to know what our final roster will look like
