If Marcus starts then AR has to go to bench, if Rui goes to the bench then Vando should start. I don’t really like the Luka, AR, MS, Bron lineup. I’d prefer Luka, MS, Rui, Bron or Luka, AR, Vando, Bron, maybe even Luka, MS, Vando, Bron, or even Jake at the 3 or 4. I understand that y’all are gonna say “lack of offense” or “3/4 on 5 on offense” that’s the only thing I hear because defense is looked at as an afterthought unfortunately.

Adou was only a 2nd round pick because of the knee injury, aside from the shooting. I think, even with the shooting, he would’ve been in the first round had he been healthy at the time

I remember LeBron when who chose to guard Derick Rose in his prime in the fourth quarter. Derick is retired now and LeBron last year was sixth in MVP voting. Wow!
AR will be coming off the bench or traded after the 2027 offseason when the lakers have enough sample size of a Luka & AR lead team in thr 2026-2027 offseason. The lakers will get cap space in the 2026 offseason of around 60M and that already factors in AR's over the cap signing via bird rights where his low cap hold is retained in the lakers books 😂

First we need to get out of this notion that players must fit some mold…a good coach gets the most out if his team especially when he has TWO megasuper stars. Rui is nit a good rebounder bcuz he is required to be out on the wing. Why isn't there any pressure on Gabe Vincent? He was brought in to be the point of attack guard…IF they plan on making a lineup change LaRavia is a better replacement in the lineup.
