Indiana Pacers – GAME SEVEN Sunday! Haliburton good, McConnell unreal! SGA 8 TOs! Colts Camp coming!
what an unbelievably good night how much fun was that watching the Indiana favor Indiana Pacers get over on the Oklahoma City Thunder last night win by 17 in a game that wasn’t nearly that close had a 31-point lead at at one point and then put in guys like Johnny Fury and Thomas Bryant and James Johnson who played very very briefly before being ejected you know what uh the lead crept back to 17 but it’s still a W right now the Thunder have have scored seven more points than the Pacers but that’s covered by what happened uh last night late as the Thunder kind of uh whittleled away that lead of the Indiana Pacers what’s interesting also is that the Pacers have won two games that they should have won right that Thunder have won two games that they should have won the the Pacers won one game they should have lost that was game one and the Thunder have won one game they should have lost and that was game four this very even series to this point and you know what this thing in game seven is going to be a war you got 148 minute battle possession by possession to win the NBA championship the first game seven in an NBA finals since 2016 and then you go back to 13 then 10 then five and then you really go back there haven’t been altogether that many NBA finals dating back to the merger I think there have been eight since the merger of the ABA and the NBA when the Pacers became a member of the National Basketball Association great game last night Tyrese Hallebertton played 23 minutes obie Topphen played exceptionally well led the Pacers in scoring off the bench with 20 tj McConnell was awesome last night with 12 points nine rebounds unbelievable seakum led the uh the paces in rebounding mcconnell second in rebounding just a great game we’re going to talk about that game as you would guess quite a bit and we’re ringing the damn bells rang the bells yesterday twice we don’t do that before the deal is done but yesterday needed to change mojo a little bit so we rang the bells we’re just going to keep ringing the bells we’re going to keep going to that well because now we believe like you sit in a favorite chair and and try to think that that’s how the pay you know and if they aren’t winning you move to that chair or you move to this chair because you think that has something to do with creating mojo that leads to an outcome that’s what we’re doing with the Bells we make no apologies for it colts camp coming in just over a month that it’ll be uh a month from Sunday what do we want to see from the Colts in in the Colts camp and what did we see last night from the Indiana Fever as they played against the Golden State Valkyries um great stuff to talk about this morning joseph Orchard said it’s a a great uh morning to be a Pacers fan this is just amazing Ken so proud of this team you know what last night I if they had gotten beaten in six and lost this series I think everybody kind of would have understood you know the the Thunder on paper looked like a better team they won 68 games the Pacers won only 50 pacers were a four seed thunder were the one seed in the whole shooting match and and so when they got kind of blitzed in game five I if if you thought or the Pacers thought you know what this thing’s kind of over it would have been understood but last night the Pacers stood up the crowd stood up at Cambridge Fieldhouse the city of Indianapolis stood up and now this thing goes back to OKC for a game seven and it’s absolutely awesome it is it’s an unbelievable time to be in central Indiana you you’ve got as a sports fan you got a lot of stuff going on you had the uh Indiana Hooers get to the college football playoff what Pacers get to the uh NBA fi finals now a game seven fever with Caitlyn Clark indiana basketball kind of a new day dawning and then you got Purdue what are you gonna do uh but we’re going to talk about all of that this is I got to tell a a fatigue enriched uh game seven edition of Breakfast with Kent brought to you by the great people at today’s dentistry dr mike O’Neal absolutely the best dentist that there is give him a call become a patient today julie standing by she is going to take your calling you make an appointment with Julie she’s going to hook you up i got the hookup with Julie don’t you worry best cosmetics perfect and and from a health perspective you got to see it dennis 3178492933 is the number become a subscriber as so many did yesterday just awesome if the Pacers win the NBA Finals what I promise you is this there will be a prize for the ages come next week all right this game Sunday 8:00 game seven absolutely cannot wait for that game to be played uh and if the Pacers win it there will be a very very valuable prize that will be given away shortly thereafter and I don’t even know what it is this is so unprecedented i have not planned for the prize but there will be one so subscribe it doesn’t cost you nothing hit the like button because that’s the polite thing to do hooser is polite in Latvian who knew that not Lithuanian i said Lithuanian i get Latvia and Lithuania confused might be in Likenstein is there a Likensteinian i don’t know it’s one of those L countries one of those L languages uh hooser means polite what are you gonna do uh so hit the hit the like button and be a polite hooer also if you want to make a donation you can make a donation no big whoop uh but please like Joseph did uh include a comment or a question that elevates the level of discourse on the channel all right let’s talk about this Pacers game uh Pacers win 10891 all starters last night for the Pacers this sounds like it’s criticism it’s not all starters with one turnover awesome turnover game only two in the first half that’s how you beat the Thunder how the Thunder beat you is turning you over pacers they turned over Sha Gilis Alexander last night eight times almost as many as the Pacers had in the entire game they had 10 so things kind of came back to what you would expect in the second half but the uh the game was over at that point and and what you wound up with was an absolutely beautiful dramafree hysterical crowd type of game which was just I haven’t taken the shirt off don’t plan on taking the shirt off might wear it straight through Sunday who the hell knows again the crowd awesome and TJ McConnell awesome 129 and six uh terrible no call this is what I’m writing this is in a note from last night as I’m talking about the game this is how I thought the game was going to come back to be what you expected and that’s kind of a kind of a nip and tuck game with with the Thunder terrible no call leading to a tech on Bradley uh Hartinstein shoves with a handful of Bradley’s jersey pathetic but why is Bradley the guy being inbounded to so in the same note I’m blaming the Pacers for drawing up an inbounds play where Tony Bradley winds up being the target of the inbounds pass i’m I’m getting on Isaiah Hartenstein for being a cheat and grabbing uh grabbing jersey with both hands simultaneously and I’m blaming the refs for not calling it but calling Tony Bradley for a uh a technical after he shoves Hartinstein i mean what the hell was going on there but that just shows that it wasn’t the hay wasn’t in the barn from the beginning right and we were getting a little bit salty during that game thinking okay when is this going to shift what is the m momentum shifting moment in this game well it never came happily uh the entire Thunder team they were slow last night they did not defend well they did not attack well and the Pacers did both exceptionally well they were really fast last night eric Dobby says “When Colts win the division this year I’m uh flying out to take you to St elmo to celebrate.” How’s that sound i’m in i I love celebrating absolutely and I appreciate all your comments on LinkedIn as well Eric thank you very much uh James Johnson ejected which was kind of hilarious he didn’t play a lot but when he got in he he got his body into guys uh and and so he gets he gets tossed came off the floor kind of smiling coming through the tunnel back to the locker room uh 48minute battle coming up will people are going to talk about will it’s the will to execute that’s the will it’s not the will to win it’s not the will to be aggressive necessarily it’s the will to execute at a high level you cannot go with the ball to a place where the Thunder are going to turn you over like McConnell did he had three turnovers last night only guy with multiple turnovers for the Pacers but he kept going to places and picking up the ball where you can’t and that’s what the Thunder do that’s what they will do is they will force you into position a position you don’t want to be in where you almost have no choice but to turn it over can’t do that you can’t you can’t bite at the poison bait you just can’t um Sha Gilchis Alexander with eight turnovers i think what do he have 21 points he was not very good last night i think it’s it’s odd that we talk about a guy not being very good when what he I mean he had more than 20 points that used to be kind of a threshold where people thought you were good yeah obi Toppen led the Pacers with 20 points shake Gilchis Alexander scored more than that but we look at him like the uh like a cause for losing last night which actually he was hallebertton 14 points in 23 minutes left the game as whole as he entered it so he’s got another three days to try to heal up that strained calf maybe he can go deeper but he played very well for the period of time that he played and that’s a good sign heading into game seven this 48-minute battle for the NBA title uh the NBA finals leading up to now since the merger 2016 that was 9 years ago 2013 12 years ago 2010 2005 1994 remember the Rockets in that series uh 1988 1984 i think both of those were uh Celtics versus Lakers and then 1978 with the Washington Bullets so that’s it eight times is all since the merger we’ve had the most thrilling moment in basketball and that’s a game seven in the NBA finals uh Mark Dnall I think we got to talk about him a little bit maybe after the series that dude’s a hell of a coach last night none of it went his way but he’s a hell of a coach and Rick Carile how about that being a hell of a coach mark Rick Carile with a 50- win team has now beaten a team that won 68 games not including the playoffs they went 68 and 14 pacers have hung three L’s on this team that in large part due to Carile but you don’t have squat from Carlile unless you’ve got a team that believes in what he says and does what he says they act as instructed most of the time and that’s a really good thing um Pacers like I said they’ve won two they should have the Thunder have won two they should have the Pacers have also won one they shouldn’t have and the Thunder have won one they shouldn’t have that That’s even Steven and a sevengame point differential over these six games even Steven too uh but we’ll see we’ll see what the line is i What was it last night it was eight and a half i think that’s going to come up if it hasn’t already they’re going to bet that up a little bit um here’s what we want and don’t want pacers camp all right we want Anthony Richardson uh first day of camp to be working with the team with that first unit offense and we want that the last day of camp too throwing running all of that because with Daniel Jones you’re not going to get home with Anthony Richardson at least you got a chance anthony Richardson is good enough to win games he’s got a winning record as a starter that tells you something about his ability to win maybe he’s not as accurate as anybody would like himself included but that dude can play winning football daniel Jones 244 and one as a starter in New York now that wasn’t all his fault but part of it was uh you what you don’t want you don’t want Richardson dancing supportively as Daniel Jones works and he’s doing He’s having fun he’s hanging with the guys he’s being supportive i don’t want that i want him leading i want him working what we want we want Mooney Ward denying Pitman Pierce and DS maybe Mitchell too that’s what we want uh you know what that is uh in one-on-one work in camp what we don’t want we don’t want Nick Cross hitting Josh DS during a no contact drill how about that let’s not have that Nick Cross uh I I think he learned that lesson last camp what we want we want Leatu Latu blowing past Ravens and Packers offensive tackles in joint practices we want to see a lot of that we want to see evidence of a marked improvement between last year when he had four measly sacks in in his rookie season and this year where he’s got a triple that to make people feel and he wants to do more than that he wants to sack a game so I’m not putting out an expectation that Lu isn’t a co-signer of what we don’t want we don’t want Tyler Warren dropping anything in it tyler Warren’s got to catch every ball within that catch radius that massive catch radius that he’s got fever last night losers 8877 of the Golden State Valkyries they were outscored by 15 in the fourth that was the game caitlyn Clark three of 14 last night 0 for7 from beyond the ark not a good night um as we talk about Carly Urs Gordon and and people are like “Well what is a what’s a a comp for her taking over from her dad and being a really good owner?” How about Jeanie Bus jeanie Bus has really done good work for the Los Angeles Lakers and is now selling that team the majority of the team at a $10 billion valuation she has been a superb owner for the Los Angeles Lakers their uh recent seasons notwithstanding most recent well let’s make it season all right uh Randy Smith says will AR be quarterback next year he’ll be quarterback this year if he stays healthy i think that’s a long shot and the following year he’s still under contract he’s still guaranteed all that money i think he stays i think they they run this back one more time with Anthony Richardson unless like this team implodes they go three and 14 and have the number one overall draft pick then things get really squirly and anything can happen let’s celebrate some birthdays shall we today Scotty Sterling celebrating a birthday today happy birthday to Scotty he turns zero today happy birthday to Scotty uh Drew Horowitz celebrating a birthday happy birthday to Drew robin Kirsten’s happy birthday to the great Ron Green happy birthday John Wessick jimmy Clark uh the great Sandy Hensley celebrating a a birthday i don’t get through introductory analysis in high school without Sandy Hensley’s help uh Mike Perry it was more like that this was the help okay all right that kind of help she didn’t help me stud she helped me perform uh Mike Perry happy birthday the great Brian Casey who should be in the Indiana uh radio hall of fame i Is there an Indiana Hall of Fame radio Hall of Fame i’m not sure but if there is one he should be in it bob Hoffman celebrating a birthday too if today’s your birthday you celebrate like hell if it’s not your birthday celebrate somebody else that’s best done with an honest and specific compliment lift each other up don’t pull each other down you know what that is charlie Johnson says “Win it for Slick.” Slick’s gone slick passed away nothing wrong with Win It for Slick in cosign but let’s win it for Nancy too nancy Leonard at the game last night she’s back at Gamebridge Fieldhouse going to all the games if if there is a uh if Slick was the our coach for the Pacers for all these years dating back to the 60s Nancy is kind of our our team mom going back to the 60s uh with the Indiana Pacers a phenomenal person an unbelievably nice person and uh just awesome to see her at the game and see her so happy watching her Pacers win and how about all the former Pacers at the game last night reggie and his son awesome to see them uh Ronnie Ronnie Ding-Dong our test awesome to see him lancer great to see him lots of former Pacers in the house as they should be we’ll keep talking about it all weekend long i can’t wait radio show in Oh look at the time we’ve got 8 minutes until the radio station starts you can download the Bloomington’s voice app at your app store and you can listen from uh 7 to 9 this morning we talk about Bloomington but we’re gonna talk a lot about the Pacers too can’t wait inside Indiana Sports now this afternoon can’t if I’m awake i got to tell you I’ve had about two hours of sleep i can’t believe that I got through this and made any kind of sense whatsoever but I guess that’s up to you to evaluate we do our best that’s all I guarantee
Pacers demolish Thunder in drama free Game Six to force what could be a great Game Seven Sunday night!
Tyrese Haliburton played – and played well, and TJ McConnell was more than a simple pest as he found a way to score 12 and grab nine rebounds.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored a little bit, but also turned it over a career high eight times!
Colts Camp is just over one month away!

Always fun Kent, great show, wow what a win!!!
If McConnell out rebounds Turner next game we lose. Hope that is not the case.
'88 was with the Lakers and Pistons..I was a huge Isiah fan being a grad of IU and that carried over to being a Bad Boys fan. Stopped being a fan of the pistons when Isiah retired.
@KentSterling When is Ivan going to give his crystal ball projection?
Ivan is money (literally)!
One more to go! Go Pacers!!
Kent,
You are by far The Best All Indiana Sports "GUY" on this YouTube Universe! THE BEST!
Now let's go get a Game 7!!
Yes 'CERS!!
Ring Dem Bells!!
❤️❤️🏀🏀🏀👀👀
Great game last night!!!!! Myles Turner never disappoints 🙄
OKC has no answer for the TJstr
Let him cook in game 7
TJ McConnell is the Mini Minace. Darth Dwarf
All of Indiana is excited for the Pacers not just Central Indiana!
You got to have a morning show on Sunday, Kent! It’s mojo 😊
What is it with Halliburton when he is interviewed after the game by an ABC sideline reporter who asked him about the performance of TJ and Halliburton said “Yeh, he’s our WHITE HOPE..” 😮
Good Morning Indy!!! …and the Carolinas too!
Game 7 is gonna be a dog fight
Great defense that caused the Thunder to turn ball over ran the Oakies out of the gym.
Marhurin is just loafing around the 3 point line everytime he comes in, back cut sir, you are athletic enough to make something happen or get a foul. Just standing there waiting on the ball so he can try to play iso ball like he was never taught how to do anything off the ball🤦
Key: Pacers are 1st team in NBA history with 8 players to score at least 200 points in a single playoffs:
Pascal Siakam (456), Tyrese Haliburton (390), Myles Turner (311), Aaron Nesmith (288). Andrew Nembhard (272) Bennedict Mathurin (219),Obi Toppin (216), T.J. McConnell (202)
Lickenstinein!? 😂😂😂 Kent is the man
Stop pissing on the Pacer's success by lying about the worst bust in the NFL with fantasies like "Anthony Richardson is good enough to win games". Especially since he does NOT have a winning record and has never won a single game against any opponent with a winning record – the exact OPPOSITE of the Pacers.
Not just in Indiana, but in all 50 states, that was what can be properly described as a good old-fashioned ass- whipping.
Let's go Pacers 🤘🍔 game 7 for it all come on Sunday and let's go Pacers 🤘🍔
Man wouldn’t it be something if the Pacers win Title !!👍👏🏀🏆
What a great series by two talented teams!! It’s been must watch television which isn’t said very often about the NBA anymore.
last game no matter what! Let's go Pacers! Let's go Fever! Let's go Colts!
I think the Pacers absolutely cannot start this game off slow. they have to dictate how this game‘s gonna go. I hope they’ve figured out something about the thunder from last night‘s game. but the Pacers can’t let the thunder start off with a eight point lead then 10 point lead then 15 point lead like they always do, or the Pacers could be in trouble. they have got to keep this game close throughout the whole game they can.GO PACERS!!! You got this.
If Pacers win Sunday night & TJ plays well he should be considered in MVP vote.
My roommate in college once watched almost an entire IU BB game from outside looking through the window. Because IU was doing good when he was outside and bad when he was inside.
I just don't see the fascination with Richardson. we were so desperate for a QB we gambled on him and it was a bust pick. let;s move on. He reminds me of miles turner, always waiting on his POTENTIAL which never materializes. 🙂
They need to treat Sunday like it’s a home game. While OKC is being introduced they should have their headphones on watching the introduction from game 6!
Once again, from the top. pacers in seven!!!!!!!!
Kent please do a piece in a video on how everyone is talking about these finals being scripted and defending the pacers rightful place in this game 7
Pacers in 7, like I always said! Let’s go. Hali looked much healthier in game 6. Siakam is MVP so far in my book
McConnell is not unreal. I've been watching him do this the whole season. Mathurin is the one who needs to wake up and do more consistently what he has done all year.
