5 BOLD PREDICTIONS For The Washington Wizards 2025-2026 Season!

5 BOLD PREDICTIONS For The Washington Wizards 2025-2026 Season!

Good evening, Wizards Nation. So, today I’m going to be a mentalist. I’ve always wanted to be a mentalist. Mentalists are pillars of society nowadays. Um, today I’m going to make five bold predictions for our whiz kids. Bold or we’re going bold deep. But, you know, before I continue, what is the definition of bold? You know what I mean? Because I sometimes people say, “Oh, this is my bold take. Trey Johnson’s gonna be the rookie of the year.” I was like, “That’s not bold, bro. That’s not bold.” Let’s look at the definition of bold, dude. Um, bold. Uh, lacking of hair on the That that’s bald, you dumb dick. Bold. It’s an adjective one. Showing an ability to take risks. Confident. I don’t know. I don’t know about that. And courageous. We’re making courageous takes today. So, this is my criteria for bold. I’m taking a risk of my lack of credibility I already have on this channel. These predictions are based off my overall feeling of how these players are on our roster, their overall structure of our roster, and basically the overall identity and how I think we’re going to move forward. Okay? So, you know, it is what it is. I try to make them as bold as possible. But, uh, yeah, man. Hope you guys enjoy these takes. If you enjoy this video, please like and subscribe. I would truly appreciate it. Um, what if y’all hate my predictions? What if these are what if these predictions aren’t bold enough and y’all unsubscribe and go become Hornets fans or whatever? I don’t know if y’all stoop that low. Anyways, first prediction, Trey Johnson is going to score 45 points this upcoming year in his rookie campaign. I think that’s bold. Yeah, I have some stats here for you guys. The last time an NBA rookie scored 50 points in a game was Brandon Jennings in 2009. November 14th, 2009. The last time an NBA rookie scored 40 plus points was a couple years ago with Gi Jackson from the Grizzlies, he scored 44 points. I think that’s pretty bold. Trey Johnson, I’m saying scoring 45. You know what I mean? Like five more points and he’s in a breaking a record from like 15 years now. No, 16 years now. So, yeah, I think it’s kind of bold, dude. You know what I mean? It’s not the whole rookie of the year. Trey Johnson, that’s not that bold cuz Trey Johnson’s him. He’s him. But, you know, anyways, I’m over here trying to freaking masquerade my freaking take. Um, yeah, man. 45 points is a guy who averaged 20 points per game at Texas last year. We all saw how he wrecked in the summer league, was very dominant. Not even dominant, but just very smooth and confident. Confidence is everything. And you know, I’m overall also thinking about the structure of this team. And my prediction with this one, I think he’s going to do this in the second half of the season after veterans are traded where he’ll have more attempts to shoot the ball. Not even just attempts in general, you know. Um perhaps McCullum is traded at the trade deadline, but yeah, I’m saying he does 45 points in the second half of the season in one game. And can you believe the overall like sentiment or feeling from the DMV area? If when they see Trey Johnson scored 45 in his rookie year, we would we would have dawned him as our new like we would be going crazy. We would I’ll be going crazy deservedly. So, man, I I’m I am super bullish on Trey Johnson. But yeah, I I think 45 points in one game this year would be awesome. Second bowl take. And it’s regarding my boy Justin Champeni whose contract is not even be guaranteed until January even though he sign a contract extension. My take my prediction is that Champenni will rival the Lao Kabali as our best wing defender on the team. Keyword rival. And also after this upcoming year, he will be entrenched as one of our core guys moving forward. Hence him being in an eight-man rotation. Again, I think that’s kind of bold. A guy whose contract is not even fully guaranteed until January, you know. So, let me go back to the first part. Rival Balakabali. Ladies and gentlemen, this man has been blessed from the gods. This man was born to defend. This man was born to guard the perimeter. This guy, I think honestly I with him, you know, I’m going keep on pounding his take or keep on pounding his comp comparison, but I I I see Jaden McDaniels from the Timberwolves and I love Jaden, you know, but Balo doesn’t need improve on a three-point shot. He regressed last year, but defense, I think not that many people are arguing that aspect regarding his game. He can still improve. He’s going to improve. We saw flashes last year. I think he’s going to take a major step this year regarding defense. But I said rival. I didn’t say Champagne is going to be better than Kabali on defense, but I think he can end up being one of our top defenders on this team. And I’m not saying like look, he had his ups and downs last year on defense by he being Champeni. But it just I just see a guy who’s 66 67 Champi is. He’s athletic. He has the wingspan. He has the will, the grit. He wants to learn, dude. And also, Champenni is an underrated rebounder. Putting that all together, shot 36 plus% from the three-point line last year. He has to be consistent for that this year as well. Show consistency. But I’m just saying he like I can see him evolving and taking the next step to being in an eight-man rot eightman playoff rotation. Yeah, I don’t know. You guys do with that as you will. Third, my third bold prediction. I don’t even think this one’s as I’ll try to make it as bold as possible, but Keshan George will have the best year out of all the secondyear players this upcoming year. Best year out of Sar and Bub. And after the year’s over next year, Keshan will be in consideration of being the best player out of the three moving forward. Now, I don’t know. This obviously shows just how high I am on Keshan George. Now, I keep thinking to myself, is this bold? Should I make it more bold enough? You know, like, do I got to do something like Keshan’s going to average 35 points per game? No, you know, but I think it’s more than I think it’s both sides. I think it’s indicative of how high I am on key, but I’m also high on the other two, especially SAR. I said it multiple times in multiple streams that I think key in my opinion has supplanted Bub as pos I think the second best player out of that draft class which means he’s I think as of right now things could change and I could be dead wrong but I think he uh possibly is a higher trajectory than Bub in the NBA and no offense to Bob. I really like Bub. I really do. That just shows how much I love Kei honestly. Um, but yeah, man. Like I I think he’s going to start at the fourth this year for us. I think he’s going to be Alex Rar’s primary front court mate. I think he’s going to have all the opportunities, man. I don’t know. I I don’t want to jinx him, but I can see 15 and eight. No, 157 and four this year for him. 157 and four. Inefficient 157 and four. You know, I I I I just, you know, I don’t know what else to say. Like, and granted, I will admit this. I don’t want to sit here and say that, you know, he’s going to be the best out of all three because even though I said that in this take, I I didn’t I my bad. I didn’t even say that. I said he will be in the conversation for being that, I still believe as of right now that Sar will have the best career out of all three of them. Uh so to me, Sar is a unicorn in certain aspects. I’m sorry. 72 with a 76 wingspan can guard out on the perimeter. Play 19 19 years old the entire rookie year last year. We saw flashes, we saw glimpses. Granted, he’s he is inefficient. He needs to improve his rebounding rate. Needs to improve certain aspects, but the dude’s 19 years old. I think sometimes we underappreciate Sar and his unicorn abilities. But anyways, I still think Sar is going to have the best career out of all of them. But what I’m saying is by the end of next year with the campaign that Keshan George has next year, he will be in the conversation of okay, he’s going to rival Sar is the best player from this draft class from us. That’s my take. I don’t know. I already see people out on like on the Wizards comment section, stuff like that, Wizards Twitter already thinking that Key is already the best one. Not that not a lot not not a lot of people, but you know, I myself I’m still I’m I’m a firm SAR believer. Um, but yeah, man. And this is not no hate or no shade to freaking Bub Karen. I love Bub. I love Bub. I just like Keshan a little bit more right now. But I’m rooting for Bub. I’m rooting for Bub big time. I am. I want to I want Bub to prove all of us wrong as the starting point guard of the future. I do. I do. Yeah, man. I don’t know what the [ __ ] And my last take. Oh, sorry. That’s my third one. [ __ ] I need to move forward fast. Fourth. My fourth take, fourth bold prediction for this year. I’ll make this one quick. Cam Whitmore is going to get us multiple 40point games after the trade deadline next year. Now, y’all might be thinking, that’s not bold. You’re going down, Alfonso. You’re going down. My retort to that is this, dude. Whitetmore hasn’t scored 40 points yet in the NBA in general in an NBA game. But obviously that could be obviously it’s because the Rockets, you know, they ain’t got no minutes to play around for him. The Rockets going to, you know, but I still think that’s kind of bold. I said multiple, by the way, multiple 40point games. And I’m predicting it’s going to happen after the trade deadline. Multiple as in two to three after the trade deadline. Presumably dudes like McCullum is possibly traded. So adding more to this bold prediction, it has me thinking, [ __ ] if he’s scoring multiple 40point games, is he starting? And if so, will he elevate himself as like one of the core pieces moving forward, like the core franchise building blocks? Anyway, that’s another question. But I can definitely see Ken Wmore even coming off the bench and getting us 40. Now, we went over the uh schedule yesterday in the stream in March, late March. We have multiple road trips. Uh I believe one four game road trip, another fivegame road trip. In one of those, Whitmore’s going to go off. Whitmore is going to go off. I want to be past him to put it past him regarding him just getting 40 plus off the bench if he’s getting 30 minutes a night. Hey, I think this is bold. I think this is bold, by the way. All right, last one. I think this is actually my boldest take. I’m being straightforward. My last bold prediction. Alex Sar will have one to two 20 rebounds a game. Sorry, I worded that horrifically. What the [ __ ] What? I’m I’m supposed to be a mentalist here. What the Alex Sar will have one to two games where he gets us 20 rebounds. I think that’s bold, dude. Yeah, that’s bold. And y’all know how I feel about Alex R and his rebounding. That’s bold, dude. But I’m gonna say that due to a multitude of factors. One, last year, his rookie year, the most rebounds Alex R had in a game was 14 rebounds. All right. He averaged 6.5 rebounds and 27.1 minutes per game last year. Now coming in this season, he’s like the primary big in our roster. Last year we had Valenunis in the beginning. Then we had, you know, Holmes, then we had obviously the vouch here and there, you know, the Gill. Now we got Sar Bagley who’s injuryprone. Duch on a two-way, which means he can only play max 50 regular season games. Gil who’s what, 68, 69. Sar is the primary big on the roster. With Sar, I’m still very firm in my stance that he’s gonna he’s never gonna be a plus like plus+ plus rebounder. I think he’s going to be a guy that gets us 8.5 rebounds per game of nights in the mold of a Jiren Jackson in the mold of a you know those like the Chad Hong Grims. You know, it’s not not bad. I’m just being straightforward. I think that’s going to be Sar. So, him getting 20 rebounds a game, it’s kind of like, you know, it’s kind of like a it’s going to be it’s going to be a an outlier in a graph because he’s going to do this because he’s going to be the primary big. I’m assuming he’s going to happen. I’m predicting it’s going to happen against a team that’s weak or has an injured front court. Um, also, we could be having a bad shooting night and this man’s going to be right there getting all the rebounds. He could be health getting his own rebounds, offensive rebounds, which I want to see from him this upcoming year. Um, I’m just basing that not off of his rebounding skill, but mostly because of like the overall structure of the team, you know, the I’m predicting like there’s always a night where you’re going to be playing an injury depleted team, you know, and then you’re going to have to do your thing against I don’t know. I don’t know what I’m saying, but that’s that that’s my prediction for that one. That’s what I have. Um, I don’t know what else to add. I want to add five. That’s five. Let me know what you guys think. Uh, I think they’re kind of bold. Yeah, I think they’re kind of bold, dude. I try to back up each prediction with like like like, oh yeah, trust me, it’s bold enough, dude. I got, you know, it hasn’t been done since 2009. It hasn’t been done since 2009. A rookie scoring 50 plus points in a game. Trey Johnson getting 45, man. I think that’s bold, but y’all let me know if I, you know, if if I didn’t meet your standards, you y’all can shred me. It’s all good, dude. You can shred a mentalist any day. But yeah, if you enjoy this video, please like and subscribe. I truly appreciate it. Till next video.

Love this team.

  1. That's not bold! Bold is Coulibably will play 82 games! Bold is Sarr will average a double-double! Bold is Tre Johnson will win MVP!

  2. Champaignie is not as good as Kyshawn defensively. I guess saying George would have success on defense isn't that bold idk

  3. Here's another bold prediction: Alex Sarr will forget to wear a cup one game and get nailed hard in the balls by a low blow from Draymond Green and have to miss multiple games due to a testicular injury.

  4. I'm a Houston Rockets fan but I'm following the Wizards because Cam Whitmore is now on the Wizards and ya'll have a good squad. Keep up the good work and you have a new fan.

  5. Bold Take, Tre gonna be the one to tell someone "if you 7feet, Get in the paint and dunk that!! stop shooting 3 feet fade aways unless you gonna make it consistently!!! Rebound the ball off the rim, not when it gets close to your hip and then you try to jump."
