HE’S HERE TO ADD! GOLDEN STATE FINALLY MADE THIS DEAL! GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS NEWS

Hey, Dub Nation. Before we get into today’s bombshell, I need your opinion. Kuminga or Payton 2? Who’s more valuable right now? Leave your comment on the video. And believe me, you’ll want to stay until the end because we have a simply insane trade scenario involving none other than Joel Embiid confirmed for Golden State. That’s right. Closing huge deals in the NBA is never easy, but that hasn’t stopped a crazy idea from gaining attention. A trade that would send Joel Embiid from the Philadelphia 76ers to our Golden State Warriors. It all started with a trade simulation by Dave Hulcom of Sports Illustrated based on the contract impass between the Warriors and forward Jonathan Kuminga. And while the Sixers aren’t currently planning to trade Embiid, Mark Stein even reported in June that the franchise wants to give him another chance alongside Paul George and Tyrese Maxi. This proposal creates one of the most intriguing scenarios of the off season. Here’s what Hulkcom’s suggested trade would look like. Warriors receive Joel Embiid. Sixers receive Jonathan Kuminga, Trace Jackson Davis, Buddy Heield, and two firstround picks. If you agree with Joel Embiid joining the Warriors, like the video. For the Warriors, this would be a huge gamble, pairing Stephven Curry with one of the league’s most dominant centers. For the Sixers, it would be a package deal with a young and athletic wing like Kuminga, a promising center like Jackson Davis, a veteran shooter like Heielded, and draft picks to rebuild the team around George and Maxi. Hulkcom also suggested that Philadelphia could push for a third first round pick if Golden State doesn’t want to part with another starter. On paper, the Sixers want Embiid back healthy and ready to compete for another title. But the issue is durability. Embiid played only 19 games last season, 39 the previous season, and has never played more than 68 in a season. If the front office has doubts about him returning to MVP level in 2022, trading him while his value is at its peak could be the smartest move in the long run. And for the Warriors, it would be the ultimate win now move. Embiid’s prime would fit perfectly with the final years of Curry’s championship season, and if healthy, the 30-year-old center could completely transform Golden State’s paint. This would also resolve the tension surrounding Kuminga. According to ESPN’s Anthony Slater, Kuminga’s staff recently proposed a three-year, $82 million extension, but the Warriors backed out. Negotiations stalled and Kuminga hinted that he might see out his contract and become a free agent rather than accept the current offer. In other words, including him in a package for a player of Embiid’s caliber could be the solution to two problems. Eliminating the headache in the squad and trying to win another title now.
