STOCK REPORT: Washington Wizards French Kids RISING and FALLING | Sarr and Coulibaly Update
Bal Koulabali and Alex Sar have made the 12man roster for the French national team in the Euro basket. We’ve got a stock report. Who’s rising and who’s falling? We’re going to tell you right now on Lockdown Wizards. You are Locked on Wizards, your daily Washington Wizards podcast, part of the Locked On Network. Your team every day. [Music] DC family, you’re locked on of the Washington Wizards. We thank you for making Lockdown Wizards your first listen every single day. Part of the lockdown podcast network where it’s your team every day. I’m one of your co-hosts, Ben Sherber. I cover all things DC sports for 1067 the fan and the team 980 alongside DC sports content creating savant and credential media member for the Washington Wizard Wub. What’s up, man? Alex Sar Malaku Bali. A lot to talk about. Still upset about the whole athletic saying that Sar wasn’t worth being a top 10 pick in the reddraft, but you know, people have their opinions. It is what it is. It’s the sports world. Yeah. So, we gave a lot of love to Alex Sar, who we felt, you know, kind of got a a tough shake not cracking the top 10 in the athletics recent reddraft. But in today’s episode, we’ll give a stock report uh from our guys playing for the French national team. Bal and Sar both cracking the final 12man roster and Bal Koulabali finds himself on the rise. We’ll tell you why. And Sar may be falling just a little bit. So, you know, we’re always going to keep it real here on Locked on Wizards. As high as we are on the future of Alex Sar, there have been some apparent struggles which we will break down today. This upcoming season could be a make orb breakak type of year for Bub Carrington. not his long-term future as an NBA player or a wizard for that matter, but make or break in terms of what his role looks like here as this team starting point guard. We’ll hit that in segment number two. And we got some 2K ratings. It’s always a little bit fun to react to him and see if the Wizards are as disrespected by the 2K ratings as they are by a lot of national media members. Abdullah, I actually reached out to uh Sam who wrote the article from the Athletic. Uh we’ll see if we can actually get him on the podcast here. Oh, that’ll be that’ll be something. We’ll see if we can get a response. Uh have a have a nice chat with him and you know hear his side uh from why he has Alexar out of that out of the top 10. We could have a a nice conversation about it. But stock report Bal Koulali on the rise and for good reason. A 16-point comeback win for France yesterday and Bal Koulibali really the co-star that led that whole thing in the third quarter. He finished with 13 points in the game uh which is his France career high. So, uh, shout out to one Bal Kouli for balling out for his homeland and notching a careerhigh. They’ve been using him as a 3 and D style player. I know we’ve got a lot of comments over the past couple weeks from people part of the Wizards nation here saying that Bal his ceiling is being a phenomenal three indeed player, which is different. And maybe if you’re a Wizards fan, you don’t really necessarily love to see him playing in that role for the French national team because that’s not really as reflective of maybe what we’ll see from him in the regular season. But if there’s one thing for certain is that he is improving his game in terms of shooting from the perimeter. Uh another really efficient offensive performance from him. He went five of seven from the field, including three of four uh from beyond the arc. So love to see him improving his catch and shoot ability. that’s something that he struggled with in year number two, had that regression from the three-point line, but if that’s something that he gets back to the mean in year number three, could be a really good and u promising year for Bal Kouli. Yeah. And I think the whole idea of he has to be a guy that can score 20 points per game and defend one through four, it would be ideal and he was the first draft pick of the dog era. But I mean the guy’s already there defensively and I feel like offensively if he doesn’t become this offensive juggernaut I’m hoping he can be. I think the shooting mechanics hopefully got better this off seasonason. I need to see more aggressive Bal Koulali. He is so freaking athletic man. There’s there’s a I would say there’s argument of him being the most athletic guy on the team. There’s also Ken Whitmore AJ Johnson and whatnot. But I think if he can develop that jump shot, if he can maybe even take to a basket just more often than what we saw these past couple of seasons and be healthy, the best thing about the the thing that I care about in sports, availability. It’s your best ability. I’ll keep on saying it’s a very it’s a cliche, but I mean there’s a reason why cliches are clichés. I think if he can figure out a way to play 70 to 80 g 82 games this season, it’s a W. And he wants that extension. And he I think he wants to stay here in Washington, too. Kid just turned 21 years old. He is so freaking young and a guy like Trey Johnson, Bubin, there’s a lot of mouse to feed on this team. But if Bal can find that role, he’s the alpha of these young guys and I’m I’m hoping a lot of Wizards fans out there, I think there’s more um guys that are on it on pro Belali than doubtful of him being here long term, but if he can figure it out this year, I think he’ll be just all right. So, in the hot take series that we’ve started, if you haven’t checked that out yet, check it out on our YouTube shorts and all of our socials. We’ve been reacting to some of the hot takes that we got on our ex at Locked on Wizards. Be sure to follow us there. Subscribe as well. We we’ve gotten some hot takes and one of the ones we’ve got or a lot of the ones that we’ve received have actually been about Bal Kouli becoming a upper echelon type score averaging over 20 points per game this season. I don’t see that. I really just don’t because of what you mentioned Abdul. I think as Wizards fans, uh, you know, we can accept if Bal Koulabali has a role that looks maybe different from the ceiling that we saw from him a couple years ago because I think he still can be a really, really good player and have a substantial role on this team that’s different than maybe what people envision. if this 3 and D role that we’re seeing him play on France is actually best suited for what he would look like in the NBA and he can thrive and and give you 14 to 17 points from that realm as well. Uh give you a couple stocks along the way uh and playmake as well then I think you’re sitting in a good situation with Bal Kouli. I think he can really provide you meaningful minutes on a really good team. I know next year’s the team’s not going to be that good. So, it’s not going to be as reflective uh to see how he would look like in that style of basketball like if he were Lou Dort on the Oklahoma City Thunder, but maybe that gives you just a microcosm of what it could look like a couple years from now. Stock report up for Bal Kouli. So, love to see it. Uh can’t wait to see how he performs in the actual contest for the Euro Basket. What we’ve seen so far is just exhibitions. The actual games will begin at the end of August and extend through September. Koulabali has started in all the international friendly matches. Sar on the other hand has not. Well, we did see Alex Sar put up a really nice performance in the first exhibition uh for France where he led the team with 19 points, an efficient seven of 10 from the field in that game. his stock report so far the last couple games is down. And not to say this is an indictment on Alex Saw or anything because we’ve spent a lot of time uh singing his praises and how we feel like he has the potential to really take off in year number two. I think the past couple games, you know, it’s hard to make it’s hard to really make what happens in these kind of games, like what the game plan, what the scheme is for these guys and what that means, cuz Alex R hasn’t really been playing a ton of minutes compared to the first couple games. Maybe that’s just because they already like know what they have in him and they’re more saving him for some of the normal games, but I think in the limited minutes that he has played, he hasn’t done a whole lot. Abdullah. Yeah. And I think I saw I think it was someone on X, I forgot who it was, maybe you can help me out, Ben, talking about how there was three offensive fouls early, not being able to set a screen efficiently. I think going into year two, if we’re still seeing problems of him him not being able to set an effective screen, especially since we want to see Trey Johnson and him have that pick and roll dynamic, it’s going to be a little cause for concern. If he’s not doesn’t have strong hands and, you know, is not quick on his feet, then that’s another cause for concern. But a lot of guys out there questioning his motor. I think his motor is going to be just fine. I think he’s only going to get more aggressive. I think that three-point shot is going to help him expand his game. I think a pump fake and take it to the rim. 7 foot frame, tallest guy on on the court. I always say if you’re the tallest guy on the court, you have to be getting nine to 10 rebounds again. I’m hoping that from the French kid and he’s young. Again, I’ll keep reiterating the fact that coming from the Australian League to the NBA, it it’s a different it’s a quite the difficult transition. And I’ll keep saying it because he didn’t play American basketball. He didn’t play in in college in America. And unlike Cooper Flag, unlike these first overall picks, you going from overseas to now, there’s there’s advantages to both sides. But be patient with Alexar. I think he’s going to be just fine. I know a lot of people are so skeptical about him after how he performed with this um recently with the France team. But we’re going to be just okay with him. And I think if he can figure out then to be that guy who because we saw in the summer league the rim protecting rim protecting if we can get a guy who can rim protect. I mean, when have we I mean, Daniel Gaffford was athletic. March and Gorta really good with the pick and roll with John Wall. But when is the last time, Ben, genuinely we had a center with the potential that Alex R has? I can’t name a I probably when we were so freaking young or even years before we were born. Yeah, I think defensively he has the highest ceiling of any guy we’ve had uh in quite some time in terms of a rim protector. So, I’m going to read the tweet that you referenced uh from Leon Fresco who gave us this information on Twitter. Uh you can check him out at Leon. Uh shout out to him for providing us some of this insight. He was boots on the ground uh watching the game in Spain. And he said that one thing he saw from the aggression was the three offense fouls on the moving screen. He said the other thing that is a trouble for concern uh was his inability to catch the ball, couldn’t finish well, and he could not stay with his man on defense. He says he’s worried about Sar and he needs a Udonis Hasslam type of coach um to be with him every day to push him and make him better. He then reiterated the point that Alexis Aena who is the big man coach for the Washington Wizards, a also French native, played several years in the NBA, he doesn’t think that he’s the best uh fit for him because he had similar problems that Alex Sar has shown uh throughout his rookie year in the NBA. So that’s something interesting to note. We’ll have to see if that’s uh a developing situation, if the Wizards, you know, will roll with the same coaching staff after this upcoming season. I know there’s a lot of questions about the head coach Brian Keefe and what the situation will look like for him a couple years down the road. Uh but it is interesting to see if maybe the players in a couple years from now if there is some other personnel uh that is tasked here with development uh for guys that are positional coaches, shooting coaches, whoever they decide to bring in. if that does make a difference ultimately in how these guys develop or not. So with Alexar having some of these issues uh for France that we’re accustomed to seeing or we became a little bit accustomed to seeing early on last year uh like his hands maybe not being uh as good as they could be. The hand eye coordination a little bit off the inability to just go up and go up strong at the rim. I’m not overly concerned that we’re seeing in these games because you have to, you know, wonder for a lot of these games when players are just working on things essentially and I know this was an exhibition game as well. He’s not playing really adequate minutes uh compared to Koula Bali did. So maybe that plays a factor into it. I’m not overly concerned, but for right now uh stock report goes a little bit down for Alexar compared to his counterpart Bolog Kulabali. Who would you think Ben would be the best mentor for Alexar? For me, I’ve been saying it for a while, even going in his rookie year. I think Kevin Garnett would be a perfect guy who could definitely polish his offensive game and give him some defensive tips. Yeah, I mean, even though Drew Gooden is the analyst, I hope he is out there, uh, you know, some points. You know how we see the same thing with the the commanders, Brian Mitchell, who’s a radio host on 1067 The Fan, he will go out there and work with the punt returners. So, Drew Gooden, a guy that has been around the block and knows a thing or two about rebounding. you wonder how he could help out uh for a guy like Alex Sara because those little things they do matter uh having those type of mentorship guys around the clubhouse and I know the Wizards have preached their locker room uh being super tight-knit between the players, the coaching staff, uh the front office, everything in between. So hopefully we can see some more additions down the road that lead to some improvements overall from these guys. Yeah. And I think in due time, Alex Art, I think this whole performance that he had with France this offseason, he’s going to be able to go by and say, “Hey, I’m going to my sophomore year. I got to have a big year to prove why I’m the starting caliber center here in DC for the long term.” Absolutely. Another guy that will need to prove himself in a starting role for the long term this upcoming season, it’s Bob Carrington. This might be a make or break type of year for him in year number two. Let’s talk about that next. August 26 is officially FanDuel Futures Day, a brand new holiday for football fans who live for bold predictions in preseason hurdles. Visit the FanDuel app today and start planning your futures bet now because futures day is one day and one day only. FanDuel, play your game. All right, we’re back here on Lockdown Wizards. A make or break type of year potentially upcoming here for one Bub Carrington. The kid with the thickest skin in the entire locker room for this Washington Wizards team. Played in all 82 games as a rookie. All rookie second team for one, Bub Carrington. But his role looks much different this year than it did in year number one. you saw him play off the ball a ton because you had Jordan Pool and shout out to Jordan Pool, good locker room guy and uh provided some fun moments for this team last year, including the gamewinner in Denver to close out the show. Famous words there from Chris Miller. But ultimately, he is not part of the future long-term plans for this Wizards team. And uh getting rid of his contract will essentially allow them to free up a ton of financial flexibility next year. And then this is where Bub Carrington slots in because we’re all about the youth movement here in DC. So this is an opportunity for Bub Carrington to showcase himself as the starting point guard of this team. Now the things he struggled with in year number one were the attributes you would hope that your starting point guard or not struggling with. He only got to the free throw line around one time per game. Uh didn’t flash that much as a playmaker. The one thing that stood out from him offensively was his ability to play off the basketball and get shots like that. Good good three-point shot uh from Bub Carrington, but will he be able to create his own shot at the bounce and get opportunities at the rim? That’s what we’re looking for here in year number two, AB. Yeah, after Trey Johnson, Bub Carrington is that guy that potentially has to be able to create his own shot. You lose Jordan Pool, he was a big reason why he won some of those games last season with the game winners. And I want to see how him and Tre Johnson could complement each other really well. I know deep deep in the regular season, we’re going to see more of Trey Johnson. You know, CJ McCullum being there. Who knows if he’s going to be here next season? Who knows? He gets maybe gets down with the trade deadline. But Bub Carrington needs to be more aggressive. Like you mentioned, Ben, one free throw per game, it’s just it’s not going to cut it. Especially since we have high hopes for this kid. Came from Baltimore, played all A2 games last season. I mean, he was breaking record after record as a rookie. And he’s a very confident man. He tenacity, can go out there as 65 and get rebounds, can pass the ball as well. I want to see him and Alexar picking roles. Him and Tristan Vuvich picking pops. It’s going to be fun. I think year two of him, we’re going to see a lot of improvement offensively. Defensively, this Wizards team is a lot of concerns. Maybe he can be the guy that can be the anchor. We’ll just have to see. But I can’t wait. I think in I outside of Trey Johnson, I love Alexar as well, and I love Keshan, but Bob Carrington has potential to be that all-star type of point guard that we really haven’t had here since John Wall. And I think a back court of him and Trey Johnson will just give give us shades of what John and Brad did here in DC. I love Bob Carrington a lot as a player, but as a Wizards fan, we’re always thinking about the future. And unfortunately, for the past couple years, we’ve thought a lot about future draft prospects. And it’s another year, folks, where if you’re a Wizards fan, you’re going to be eyeing those draft boards throughout the year and seeing who’s there, see whose stock goes up, who goes down. Uh, but as it stands right there, there’s going to be very significant talent available at the top of this 2026 draft. And the Wizards projected uh by most to win around 18 games last year. I think they win a couple more than that. But barring that, Washington probably a lotterybound team again. Hopefully they get some more luck than they did last year, even though we still did end up with Trey Johnson. But think about who’s likely at the top of this 2026 draft. And Darren Peterson, a 66 guard that can play the point or shooting guard position. But if he is drafted to Washington, you’d probably see him playing the point with Trey Johnson playing the two. Uh he’s 18 right now and he’s about to be a freshman at the University of Kansas and he’s already projected to be one of the best scorers in the entire nation. Was the best player in high school last year. Coveted coveted combination of size, length, explosiveness, great shot creation ability, and a very capable passer that has strong defensive playmaking prowess as well. So, this kind of fits the mold of exactly what the Wizards would be looking for in a player. So, if Bob Carrington is unable to prove himself as a starting point guard and the Wizards do pick at the top of the draft, I think it’d be very hard for the Wizards to pass up on the opportunity to take a guy like Darren Peterson uh and not have him slot in as a starting point guard in the following season. Let me ask you this, Ben. What do you think his shooting splits have to be for Bub to prove that, hey, I don’t we don’t need Darren Peterson. You got me right here. Uh, I think you’d like to see him average 15 to 17 points per game, six or more assists. I think the shooting splits probably a little, you know, you give a little leeway to a guard, but you’d probably taking a lot more tougher shots. Uh, maybe see him shoot around 44 46% uh around 33% from beyond the ark. And then also free throw attempts. you’d hope to see him getting at least six to eight free throw attempts per game instead of one like he did last year. Uh that’s kind of just really running off the top of my head right there. So if anyone else has a better idea of what you think his ideal shooting splits would look like in a solid year number two, let us know down below. What about you, AB? Yeah, I agree with the points per game shooting splits as well. I say six to seven free throws. I think again you have to be aggressive at the end of the day for Bub. that quickness that he has, that first step, really, really explosive. That mid-range shot, I mean, he doesn’t miss. So, he’s only going to get better with those shooting splits from his rookie year. And I think he has to be that alpha here. There’s so many young guys on this team. CJ McCome, Chris Middleton, you lost Marcus Smart, you lost Jordan P. Belali, like I mentioned, he’s he’s going to be the alpha of these young dogs, but if he doesn’t take that year three offensive jump, who has to step up out of the year two guys? I mean, Alex, what if he has his struggles offensively and not being that aggressive? Keshan George, what if he’s in and out the lineup? Cam Whitmore, a lot of wings on this roster. Justin Championy and so on. Bub Carrington, you’re that guy. I mean, AJ Johnson’s behind you. Trey Johnson with you as well. I like the chemistry that they’re going to develop. I know we saw right after the draft they were doing shooting competitions. Seeing like stuff like that just reminds me of a John Wall Bradley build day. So, I’m hoping we get that type of back court and it’s going to be exciting. I can’t wait. Bob Carrington’s a guy that I definitely want to get a jersey soon. That’d be a good jersey to get. Which one would you get? Oh. Again, I love the cherry blossom jersey, Ben. I think that’s for me that’s always going to be my go-to. The ones that the the throwbacks they announced recently they’re bringing back, like we mentioned an earlier episode not too long ago, I wasn’t the biggest fan of, but maybe it’s because I’m a young guy and the older generation is probably going to give me a lot of slack for that. But I love the Cherry Blossoms. I think that’s the best jersey. I just got my uh Super Bowl era Jaden Daniels jersey on. It’s very fake. It’s not a real one. If if any of you were like running to NFL shop right now to buy it, they’re not available. I have a fake one and I’m I’m proud of it. I have no I have not an ounce of shame in my body. See? All right, I’m going to go off topic. I don’t see what’s wrong with buying reps. What? Like genuinely, what’s like in your case if there’s if they’re out there, they’re not available. On top of they’re really expensive. There should people should be like you and be like, “Yeah, I bought a fake one.” So be it. Yeah. I mean, I just I always admit when people ask where I got the jersey because they usually look real, too. And people like, “It’s a nice jersey.” I go, “It’s fake. I got it for like 30 bucks. It took two months to get here, but it was worth it.” I don’t want to drop $180 on a jersey. I just don’t. Blunt and simple. We love it. It’s just just very simple stuff. Bob Carrington could be a good jersey to get. Um hopefully like Trey Johnson will be a player that’d be worthy of getting a jersey for as well. I know Bob already changed his numbers, so I know Wizards fans that bought his jersey last year are gonna have to get the updated version of Bob Carrington’s jersey, so that that kind of stinks for them. Just talking about this 2026 draft class, Abdullah Darren Peterson obviously at the top of there, AJ Debansa, another guy that’s going to be at the very top of the board, Cameron Boozer, uh Nate Ament, there’s so many guys and the list goes on and on, but there’s still other supreme guard talent. There’s a lot of wing talent. I will say in this 2026 draft class, and if you’re a Wizards fan, you’re thinking, “Oh my god, like can should we not another one.” And you can never have too many good players on the wing. You just can’t. It’s just such a dominant force in the NBA to have a player that comes off the wing and scores the basketball so well. So, you can never really think about it like that. But a couple of other guys that you might see, uh, Dash Daniels, NBL player right now, and then Bennett Sts out of Iowa. It could be a guy that you see if the Wizards are more toward the edge of that lottery or something like that. But I think if Bub’s going to lose his uh job as a starting point guard, it’s going to be a guy into in the 2026 draft class. I don’t see it being anyone that’s on the roster right now. Yeah. And I think Darren Pearson, very very talented. It’s interesting, Ben. I always think about like there’s so much talent. Wings, Bal Champi, Cory Kisspert somehow still on this roster. Will Riley, Keshan George, the list goes on and on. There there’s not going to be a lot enough playing time to give around everybody. I don’t know what Craig Kissper’s future here in Washington is. I always mention the fact that he wasn’t Will Dawkins guy was drafted by the previous regime. So, we’ll have to see how that pans out. But yeah, Bub Carrington, I think he’s going to be this point guard for the future. But Darren Pearson, don’t get me wrong, very, very talented. All right, we got some NBA 2K ratings to touch on. Let’s do that before we close out the show here on Lock on Wizards. [Music] It’s always nice to touch on some lighter things here. Are you a 2K player, Abdul? Do you play at all? I’m gonna be honest, Ben. I don’t remember the last time I bought a 2K and like actually was ready to play it. Like I just like I don’t know. I’m just out of date with the whole video game era. Yeah, I haven’t really bought 2K since I think 2K 20 during COVID. I played a lot when I was in high school. Um, but looking at some of the ratings, so Trey Johnson was the fifth highest rated rookie, uh, tied with Khan Canipple at 75 overall, and I think it’s a relatively fair rating for him. I think they maybe knocked him a little bit because they’re unsure of his defensive tendencies, but in the summer league, it looked pretty good for Trey Johnson. So maybe you could have seen him jump up to around 77 where Ace Bailey was, but I’m not going to make a big deal about 2K ratings. Alex Sar came in at 81, which I think is actually a perfect rating for I’m actually surprised they gave him that. That’s that’s pretty solid for Alex. I’ I’d say it’s perfect. That’s not too high, not too low whatsoever for me. I think Alex Sar showed some nice flashes in his rookie year and has showed some nice improvements, maybe touches to his game that we’ll see in year number two, but hasn’t done enough to, you know, get the nod to be upper 80s or or whatever right now. Do you think CJ is going to be the highest rated Wizard? I think he’s on he’s 82. Oh, I think that’s what I saw, but I’d have to double check. You think anyone’s going to be higher than 82 on the Wizards? Yeah, probably not. like yeah I can’t imagine I think Bal is going to get like a 77 78 you know it’s going to be interesting how they they mark it because I saw the top 10 perimeter defenders uh in the ratings and Bal didn’t crack that so that means his perimeter defense is his perimeter defense is rated below 90 uh according to the list I saw because I think the lowest one in the top 10 list was 90 and I think Bal is really one of better perimeter type defenders in the league. I think maybe doesn’t get enough love because the Wizards give up so many points every single like when your team gives up 162 points. Um, you know, it falls back on everybody. It’s not going to It’s hard to say. He’s a really good perimeter defender when you give up when your team gave up 162 points. A good point. Yeah, it’s it’s kind of that situation right there. Uh, but it’s a little bit fun to think about. I don’t know if I’m going to get the new 2K to be honest because you and I were going to be at Capital One Arena for every single home game and covering this team. So, when am I when am I going to have time to play the 2K is the real question. I love doing my league rebuilds, Ben. When I when I used to play 2K with my friends, always used to rebuild the Wizards and I would get deep. I would go into like 2040. It It was amazing. H It’s good stuff. I’m trying to think like what’s the best like Wizards. I would always whenever I play my career, I’d always make sure I would get uh drafted or I would never you couldn’t control who drafted you. So, I would always demand a trade to the Wizards and I would lead us to the championship because I just needed to see it. Like I someone has to do it. Yeah. Like I had to see someone on the Wizards holding the Larry O’Brien with the confetti falling. I the 2K was a good way to see it. Uh, if any of you guys watching this video or listening play 2K, uh, comment down below some of the things you’re looking forward to the new 2K or any Wizards memories you have playing 2K if you have them. I don’t know if that’s I don’t even know that’s if that’s a thing for some people, but maybe it is. Yeah. Like I for me, I always wonder is 2K even that popular for kids that are like 15 to 17, 18 years old because I remember when I was 16, 17. I mean, it was popping. The My Park, everyone was playing 2K. The YouTubers, the streamers. 2K17 was so goated, dude. It was the soundtracks, like everything they had was just perfect in sync. And the whole I think it was uh Ruck was it the what was the different type of parks? It was the beach one. It was Sunset Beach, uh, Rivet City, and Oldtown. Were you Sunset? I was Sunset Beach. I feel like Sunset was the only right way. That was the That was the generic park. Yeah. And I was, but it was nice. And every everyone was generic in in Sunset Beach. What was your like what your build? I had two. I had a sharpshooter. That was first year where they had like archetypes uh style players. I had a sharpshooter and then I had a glass cleaner. I was I’m better at center on 2K. Like I’m nasty with a center. Guard is hard. It’s hard to play guard in 2K because everyone’s cheesing the dribble moves. I was just a stretch big. I would just sit in the corner. My friends were pretty good. They would just carry me anytime we played at the park or wreck. Uh, that’s good stuff to reminisce on. I know 2K conversation. Some of you probably don’t care at all, but that’s why we put it at the very end of this episode. Stock report up for Bal Koulali. I watched some of the games and it's way more team ball. Bilal's 13 lead the team in scoring and no one hardley scores over 10. Their new players like Risachier and Sarr don't get minutes like Bilal and guys who played in the Olympics. I wouldn't look too much into their individual performances because it's not as comparable to nba style of play.
My dream mentors for Sarr would be Chris Bosh, KG, Sheed & LaMarcus Aldridge on the offensive side and Ben Wallace, Zo & Camby as his defensive coaches/mentors they’d make him a superstar or he’d fold up and go bk to France 😂
I don’t like Bub he should’ve stayed an extra year. He’s not ready for prime time maybe when he’s 23 or 24 but I don’t see it. He’s not a natural PG with his herky-jerky telegraphed movements
Sarr could be okay in time. He needs to model his game after LaMarcus Aldridge on O and Marcus Camby on D
If Bub can avg 12.4 ppg, 4.5 rpg and 5.1 apg with 1.3 spg on 43% FG and 36.6% from 3 with over 83% ft id be shocked yet over the moon happy
Only Wizards I like longterm are BC at SF, Cam, Sarr & our best player and prospect Tre. I like Tristan as well. Possibly George but he’s a better fit on the Pistons when Harris gets too old 😂
Isn’t Malcolm Brogdon still on the roster that’s freaking wild
If we get Peterson Bub will learn how it feels to be Dennis Smith Jr 😂
Tre Johnson is about an 82 rn in reality with 92 or 93 potential in future 2K’s next up will be BC in the future with a max rating of 89 or 90
Sarr deserved a 78 rn
Bilal is indeed looking a good deal more aggressive for France: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-HknEYvj0_Q
KG OR LAMARCUS ALRIDGE👌🚨🚨🤷♂️🙏🏽TO BE A.SARR MENTOR
