We’re going to break down all of these latest reports today. If you’re enjoying the content, please hit that subscribe button and have notifications turned on so you don’t miss any new content. And now, let’s get started. Miles McBride trade incoming. This off season, we have spoken about a number of different topics, but one topic we really haven’t spoken about has been trades, and that’s because the Knicks have not been interested in making any trades unless that player is Giannis attent. But as of right now, he is not available. However, maybe we need to start speaking about trades once again because according to these latest reports, the Knicks could trade Miles McBride next season. Let’s break down exactly what these latest reports have to say. Shout out to NBA insider Samo of Hoopswire for giving us this following information. According to them, one roster tweaking mechanism for the Knicks could be a trade. According to Samo, he states, “One player that could now be expendable given all the moves the Knicks have made this off season is Deuce McBride, and that’s thanks to a fresh free agent signing. The free agent they’re talking about is Jordan Clarkson.” Here’s what Sam Amo, an NBA insider, has to say exactly about this situation. According to them, for the Knicks, Miles McBride is a good player who sometimes can be the odd man out in a minutes crunch. That probably won’t improve after New York signed Jordan Clarkson. That makes Miles McBride the name to watch here to potentially be traded. As Amo stated here, with the new additions to the team, I can understand why some people may question what Deuce McBride’s role is going to be on this Knicks team moving forward and why he could be traded. But that brings up a very good point here for Deuce McBride headed into next season. What is his role going to be off the bench for New York? Because after all the new additions, the Knicks added to this team. And let’s remember, they are still looking to add a veteran guard with their final roster spot. So that means there could be even more competition for minutes on this Knicks team at the guard position. So that goes back to Miles McBride. What role is he going to have on this Knicks team given the new roster construction that we have? Well, shout out to James L. Edwards of The Athletic for breaking down this following information and letting us know potentially what role Miles McBride could play off the bench for New York. According to James L. Edwards, he states the following. New York could still use a backup point guard as I view Miles McBride as more of an offball guard. And I obviously do as well. I think many Nick fans right now believe that Deuce McBride isn’t really a point guard. He’s more of a two guard. So, if you look at this team and you look at what they need, Deuce McBride cannot really fill in that role for backup point guard. But with the current roster construction, if the Knicks really don’t add another point guard with some level of ball handling capabilities, then it looks like Deuce McBride may have to fill in that role. But as I said, that’s not really the proper role for him. Edwards continues here by stating, “However, if the Knicks were to use their final veteran minimum spot on Landry Shammit, which I’m led to believe is a real possibility, Deuce McBride will likely be the backup point guard for the Knicks off the bench next season. Deuce McBride as a backup guard isn’t necessarily a bad idea, but that’s not his position. And if that’s the only spot they have for him, you can start to see why a trade might start to come together. I will say though, I don’t believe that the Knicks will make a trade just to make a trade. I don’t believe they’re going to trade Deuce McBride because he really doesn’t have a roster spot or a role on this team. Even though I fully believe that Jordan Clarkson is likely going to be the backup point guard to Jaylen Brunson, especially right now with the Knicks still having that veteran roster spot open and they really haven’t added anybody. So, with the current roster construction, Jordan Clarkson makes the most sense as Jaylen Brunson’s backup. But that could change if Deuce McBride proves he’s capable in training camp, in preeason, and all of these other things. But in my opinion, Deuce McBride should not be traded. We shouldn’t be trading anybody. We should be holding our assets and waiting for that one player that we really want to become available and then trade for that player. And the only player worth trading for right now if you’re the Knicks is Giannis attent. There is nobody else worth giving up any players on this roster to another team for if New York makes another trade. And that trade is not for Giannis. In my opinion, unless that trade is a steal coming out of nowhere, New York would be making a trade just to make a trade. And under Leon Rose, we don’t do that, ladies and gentlemen. We don’t trade players just to trade players. We trade players to make another move, to get better, to give ourselves more flexibility in the future to land the player that we really want. However, if you look at the roster, you look at the roster construction, you look at players on this team that opposing teams may want to trade for. Deuce McBride, the way he plays, his age, his contract, these are all of the factors on why opposing teams may want to trade for Deuce McBride. And if you’re the Knicks, you have to keep that possibility on the table depending on who’s going to come back in a trade for Deuce McBride. Now, I don’t think the Knicks are going to go in this direction, but you never know in the NBA which players are going to become available and depending on that, New York might pull the trigger and trade Deuce McBride. However, at this point, I can’t see exactly what type of trade would need to even be on the table that would push the Knicks to trade Deuce McBride. They don’t need to make a trade right now. They don’t need to make any other major trades to help this Knicks team next season. And why? Because as of right now, with the current roster that we have available, New York is one of the favorites to go to the NBA Finals and win it all. Shout out to channel sponsor FanDuel for giving us this following information and the updated odds for who’s going to win the NBA championship. And as you can see here, these odds, they have updated, but they’ve updated to favor OKC and Cleveland a little bit more than any other team. Let’s break down these latest odds. According to FanDuel, OKC still remains at the top of the list. The favorites to win the NBA Finals at plus 240. Right after them is the Cleveland Cavaliers at plus700. Before they were only at plus 800, but they’ve jumped up now. Now they’re at 700. With the Knicks, they were at plus 800, but now they’ve joined the rest of the crew. That crew being the Nuggets and the Rockets at plus 850. And then we have the Orlando Magic rounding out this list as even more of a long shot at plus,500. The odd makers agree. Next season, only four teams are worth looking at in order for them to win the NBA Finals. That’s the Thunder, the Cavaliers, the Knicks, the Nuggets, and the Houston Rockets. Even without making a trade, New York is still among the top teams in the league to go to the NBA Finals, win it all, and bring a championship home to New York. If that’s the case, if those are our odds going into next season, then why do anything? Why make any type of move? Why make any type of trade? But as of today, if you’re asking me, will New York trade Deuce McBride? My answer to that is an absolute no. Even though Sam Mo believes that Deuce McBride could be expendable because of Jordan Clarkson and he could be traded, that is not a guarantee. The only way that officially happens is if during the regular season, Deuce McBride doesn’t have an impact. His role gets reduced and Jordan Clarkson actually does take over his role and becomes the main guard off the bench that the Knicks are looking at. If all of that happens, then maybe at the deadline you can talk about Deuce McBride being traded. But if that’s not the case, then I wouldn’t think about the Knicks making any trades moving forward because there is only one player New York has their eyes set on. And if they make any other trade before that, they’re taking away assets to make that bigger move. But what about you guys? What do you think about New York potentially considering trading Deuce McBride if the right deal is on the table and potentially because he’s expendable because Jordan Clarkson has been added to this team. Let me know how you feel about that in the comment section below, guys, because honestly, I would love to hear from you. But that’s going to do it for this episode. I hope you enjoyed it and if you did, go ahead and smash that like button, leave a comment below, and of course, guys, please subscribe to the channel. Until next time, Nick fans, take care of yourself, your families, and each other. Peace and
A HUGE MOVE could be coming soon! According to an NBA Insider, they have listed Miles McBride as a name to watch that could be traded next season. And the reason why? The New York Knicks new additions to the team, specifically Jordan Clarkson. However, trading Deuce McBride right now doesn’t make sense for the return you’d likely get back. NY will never make a trade just to make one but there are factors that could play a significant role… Troy Mahabir breaks all of this down!

Would ya trade McBride for Shaedon Sharpe?
Duece is untradeable. Makes no money. Like 4 million. Slightly a over rookie scale. Slightly above vet minimum. You get back trash. He might have the most valueable co tract along either side Brunson
Deuce is good, his shooting is improving, and he's cheap. He's a great option for teams in the Knicks' financial situation. I wouldn't trade him unless it was a blockbuster move like Giannis. I fully agree with you.
All my years of watching the Knicks they buy too much use vehicle , they don't keep there drafts pick .
I hate to say. 😢
Jordan Clarkson is a better PG than Deuce. Clarkson can easily play PG & SG. Deuce is a bad PG, but a good SG.
It is wise for the Knicks to trade Deuce in the future.
Knicks must look for a real point guard .
NEXT SEASON? CLICKBAIT… GTFOH!
Let’s See If He Can Blossom And Show More Of What He Can Do Under This New Regime…McBride Has Unlimited Potential With The Right System I Believe!
Troy stop with nba insider straight cap
Nahhhhhhhh. Seems far fetched
Mcbride is short with great defense, so the only position he can play while brunson is resting is PG, he's too short to be the 2Guard.. 2Guards be like 6'5, 6'6 and yeah the only trade with making would have to give us Giannis
True Love Is A Beautiful Thing For Real…Hope Y’all Are Enjoying Each Others Presence!!🙏🏾🫶🏽🥂
Miles contributes on both ends of the floor and is one of the best shooters on the team. His floor spacing and defense
shouldn't be taken for granted.
No wayyyyy
I don’t get it. We were just talking about starting Deuce not to long ago. Now he’s in a trade rumor lol.
So Mitch and deuce arguably there best defensive duo. Make it make sense
They can put Josh Hart back as 1st stringer and McBride slide down to 2nd team with Clark as # w and #1 guards, respectively! Never trade McBride! That would be another blunder of the NY Knicks as historically been🤭
deuce being traded to give mins to 33 yr old jordan clarkson is SO knicksy its givin nostalgia… clarkson been shootin below league avg from 3 more often than not n deuce the better the defender smh
Duece fills a specific role on the team that Clarkson cannot . Point of attack defender.
The Knicks literally let Amir Coffey and Javonte Green sign 1 year deals just because they want to wait on Ben Simmons.
You told me I wasn't going to believe it. I don't believe it. I am just going to fire up another bowl, have a beer and hope for the best.
Next season?? 😂 this the time of year content creators struggling 🥵
Hmm 🤔
I ain't buying this until I see it happen. To much this and that being said. Let's just concentrate on the season and winning the championship.
McBride should be traded this season. Jordan Clarkson is his replacement. Deuce is not a PG. He's an undersized SG. Trade him for a big man.
Thank you Troy for the update
The reason is he want 15 per
Take a Break from Knicks Troy
I am still Not 100% a Leon Rose Fan. If you are getting a top-notch PG Yes if your going after HAYWOOD HIGHSMITH yes who Miami just traded to Brooklyn but The Nets have no room for him. Otherwise why are you Trading Duece to get Ben Simmons? Who can not shoot There is Leon Rose's Blind Spot again? We need a Back Up Point Guard we don't need Ben Simmons.
Deuce ain't no point guard
Deuce doesn't create offense he's an off guard.
I had to put my laptop to minimum volume before I clicked this video, I could hear the yelling just looking at the thumbnail lmfao much love unc
We’d have no defensive guards without Deuce. We better get a guard back that can D up
The problem with your statement about not trading Deuce is that he had a worse season this last one than he had the previous season. In fact analytics says he was at the bottom of the league as a sixth man off the bench. His three point shooting regressed and his playmaking ability was faulty. There is no guarantee that Milwaukee would even want him as a trade target. So it may be that Leon might use him in an ancillary trade for a backup point guard instead.
Pure click bait nonsense from whoever it was who wrote that article. Jordan is only on a 1 year deal, so how is he making anyone expandable??
Also you can't gloss over the fact that deuce McBride is your best defensive guard, regardless of his lack of play making. At the end of the day you still need to stop people
I honestly could care less what the odd makers say, we are not use to having talented teams, so we need to weaponize that talented for our benefit. Im not buying this bs that we're so talented we can trade off pieces for nothing.
What is your reason for wanting Giannis Antetoukompo? He needs the ball which conflicts with Brunson and he can't shoot, Please explain why you want Giannis?
CAP ALL CAP‼️..douce contributes all the around the board ..if you want to trade someone trade precious
If deuce gets traded I will crash out
We gotta look forward to next season because they screwed this season all up. They hired the wrong coach. They let KD go when they should’ve took him all because they’re waiting on Giannis that they’re never gonna get.
