  1. Unfortunate but I think It's a wrap for both of them. If so the best path going forward is that they both retire. Then the Sixers might get some cap relief so we can move on. And build around the young guys.

  2. Tired of all these Sixers Joel Embiid and Paul George Doom and Gloom reports quite frankly they’re Depressing I think we got it

  3. It would not surprise me if we see Embiid have a medical retirement in the next year or two. I know some people say he won’t walk away from all that money, but he’s already made his wealth from playing this game and he still has a family to provide for plus life after basketball. It’s terrible to see that’s such a dominant player was wasted by a terribly run franchise, that aside from the one year with Jimmy Butler, never put together a roster that was truly enough to compete for a title plus injuries to him during his prime.

  4. What could have been with Joel if he just took the game and his health more serious early on. Now he wants to be an adult, but his body and reputation are done.

  5. We should all pray for embiid, started playing at 16yo and became nba mvp. He gives this game his all. You’ve never heard him rapped up in some scandal or anything. He is a baller and this is sad

  6. "worrisome" yall already knew this was coming, come on bruh, prepare for another tank year and the firing of nick nurse LOL

  7. I'm not surprised with the news about Embiid. His knees were cooked years ago. It just got worse over time. Sixers are done.

  8. Signing Embìid to a contract extension made no sense because of his injury history. Going into this season, I doubted Joel would be healthy enough to play half the season because of his present knee problem and future injuries because he always gets hurt. As far as PG is concerned, my hope was that he played in 55 regular season games because expecting him to play in more games at this point in his career isn't realistic.

  9. I’m done with this process. It’s always another excuse. It’s always something else. I’ve only enjoyed 2 of his seasons. The one where he got MVP, and the one we lost in game 7 to Kwai Leonard’s bounce-around-the-rim game winning shot. Embiid is done and it’s a damn shame.

  10. I think that maybe starting the season without them might work better. If we can get chemistry between the other guys, they might figure out how to play without Joel and PG. They might have to do that anyway.
