I think he has a real shot to rewrite the script and fix his image. If he sticks to his strengths on offense and gives consistent effort on defense, including attention to detail, this is an amazing signing for LA. If he doesn’t… Then at least we didn’t have to give anything up for a better center than Jaxson Hayes. It’s a win-win either way, but I hope that Ayton realizes if you take this opportunity seriously, it will be the difference between a $100 million contract and the remainder of his career being filled out by veteran minimum contracts

Gafford and lively are probably better a lob threats due to them doing nothing but executing at that skill not discrediting those players ( if anything they’re probably the best centers Luka played with his career….. since Ayton can shoot the midrange they will have to either let Luka 1 on 1 or sag off ayton and even if he sags he can run in for a lob hoping ayton can lock in at the end of the day he was a #1 overall pick for a reason combine that with a magician will be insane !!!!

He’s perfect because he can breathe, run and is a center. He prefers to short roll (Luka doesn’t), clogs up the paint (where Luka and LBJ operates), doesn’t stretch the court, barely defends, and can pout if and when he isn’t getting enough touches. 😂

Maybe playing next to LeBron and Luka will be the kick in the butt that Ayton needed, hopefully they're able to motivate him to buy in and put in the work necessary to reach his potential. He has all the physical tools to be a force on both ends of the floor but his mentality as a player has got to change
