NBA schedule released, will the first 20 games define the Kings’ season?
KCRA 3’s Sean Cunningham, Brenden Nunes from the Kings Pulse Podcast and The Kings Beat’s James Ham join forces for coverage of the Sacramento Kings.
Topics include the NBA’s schedule release, a deep dive into the Kings’ first 20 games that include three games against OKC, three against Minnesota and three against Denver, a quick update on the Jonathan Kuminga situation and another episode of The Business of Basketball discussing Domantas Sabonis’ comments at his annual basketball camp.
Thanks for joining us on this adventure! Big shoutout to Paul Jinkerson (@paulitition) for creating a new intro and outro for the podcast and to Brenden for creating our new overlay for the podcast.

KUMINGA WATCH!!! 💣💣💣
Candless James Ham
Best kings pod
This Kings team will not make the play in for the first round of next years playoffs. As this team is currently constructed and I’d bet on it
"Dog Days of summer" … because Sirius (the brightest star in the sky) in the constellation Canis Major … the "Big Dog" … rises mid-summer when it gets hot.
Who has James Ham's Larry Bird Rights?
NBC showing national primetime games. 8pm starts, one east and one west.
I'm guessing most of us don't listen to very many BB related podcasts … maybe an episode of the Kings Beat on the contents of the podcasts you've heard would clue us in on what you all are referring to.
The first 20 games of next season will prove to me if keegan is a $30 million dollars player or a $14 million dollars player.
Call me a keegan hater. But I ain't the one dribbling the bball into the second row, who can't post up trae young and Chris paul.
I ain't the one who is in a line up with 4 other kings bench players and CONTINUE BEING USELESS STANDING IN THE CORNER.
I ain't going to be blaming demar and lavine.
It's the guy with this USELESS expression fault🫤 while standing in the corner, sitting on the bench, in the team huddles, when jogging in transition, when shooting the ball 1 foot wide right to the basketball hoop.
