Quentin showed he can score and efficiently. He put up points in a tank but not all the teams he scorched were tanking. 40 against the Rockets, top 5 defenses in the league, wasn't a tanking team. He got his opportunity to run with the ball and Grimes is about to break all the way out. Not resigning him would be one of the worst moves the Sixers have ever made.
