Victor Wembanyama might be the new face of the NBA and the San Antonio Spurs are making sure he has a co-star after they have signed De’Aaron Fox to a 4-year extension that rivals the new deal of Luka Doncic. The Spurs have now entered the Wemby and Fox era which could take over the NBA over the next few years. San Antonio also has other star-caliber guards in Stephon Castle and Dylan Harper. The question is, can they actually thrive with a three-guard line up next to Wembanyama? The Spurs have also signed Luke Kornet and Kelly Olynyk in the offseason to strengthen the Spurs’ depth. But can Wembanyama and the Spurs actually defeat teams such as the Nuggets with Nikola Jokic, the Rockets with Kevin Durant and the OKC Thunder with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.
