Hakeem did not play in an era in which a center was encouraged (or allowed) to shoot threes, so he did not spend time developing that shot. They played differently on defense also; Jokic does not face defensive-minded centers on a consistent basis. People might mention Shaq, Ewing, or Robinson, but in Hakeem's era there were many centers whose focus was defense. Jokic is a fantastic player and a gifted passer, but we are comparing two different eras at the center position.
