  1. If you need to get under the cap the Golden State Warriors are in a bind and fielding garbage trades for Johnathan Kuminga. If you are getting rid of RJ and get Kuminga for 22 million a year and maybe 2million increases every year for 4 years I do it as long as there is no player option on the contract.

A bit of a risk but it gets you under the cap and you have a player under control for longer. I would add Agbaji if we could get Podziemski out of Golden State. I dont think he is the untouchable asset he used to be and Golden State is in a hard position. I think Podziemski is going to have a break out year next year

  2. RJ was out most consistent decent scoring player last season. Quickly was a no-show with injury after injury. Let him go.

  3. We all know RJ is going to be traded. The question is not if but when. The only way he sticks around is if this team is a top 5 team. MLSE is cutting cost anywhere they can. The 2 big money Italians on Toronto FC are gone, Masai is gone, Brendan Shanahan gone. Ed Rogers is cheap!!!

  4. The Raptors are not over the tax. They are close to the line but not over. Raptors used exceptions on both Garrett and Sandro. They are under..

Second of all, there is no such thing as a massive Raptors update authored by Jake Fischer

as of right now, there isn’t anybody to trade for. Raptors are gonna hold onto RJ Barrett for quite some time unless something extremely intriguing happens.

Most of the albatross contracts, I’ve already been addressed . Most of the stars have already been moved. RJ is gonna play his ass off because he’s extension eligible and if he does that the Raptors ownership is gonna want to keep him and they’ll pay a little bit of tax.

I get the need to try to content every day, but I’m kind of tired of hearing about Jake Fischer’s nonsense musings

  5. We need a pg and a floor spacer so quickly is in a position of need. Yeah it’s a flat contract but we got nothing out of him last year. RJ is proven to be a consistent scorer and seems to be trending upwards. There’s too many questions heading into the new season and RJ isn’t one of them. Scottie next step? Ingram healthy? Quickley healthy and efficient in his new role (not yet a full 82 as a pg). I don’t think the solution is trading RJ. I think we have an escalation of commitment to Scottie, BI and Quiclley at this point and they’re looking for an RJ trade to be the solution.

  6. I don’t understand why RJ is being treated like this. It’s like he’s just being hung out to dry. Raptors are a trash organization. No wonder Kawhi said ✌🏽
