It’s no coincidence that these two are your potential backups to Jalen Brunson. This role might be shared between the two! This might be a better option than getting the vet point guard! It’s the perfect mix of veteran play from Clarkson and player development for Kolek, while still helping the team!
Here we go, I was waiting for you to speak on this Troy. After seeing this Kolek needs to be backup PG, What better way to have him work on his defense than to actually have him in the game consistently going up against other bench guys of the NBA level.

I saw the mach up and I think if the Knicks was thinking about trading kolek they need to charge their mind.and I think Clarkson is going to average 20 plus coming up NBA season
Kolek should work his way into the rotation for back up pg. if he does that, Knicks won’t need to find a back up free agent or trade for one unless it’s a significant trade.

Both looked good with their foot work and shot selections. But the presence of another defender on Clarkson gives use an understanding of which player will get a majority of PT off the bench. I believe Clarkson will play a solid role while JB is taking a breather.
It was weakside help kolek wasn’t going where the defender is it’s made to make you go one way and make it harder to score
Kolek need serious playing time, he remind me of TJ McConnell of the Pacers n that guy was a pest around the rim. Kolek can develop his game to be a good backup PG for the Knicks. Let go Kolek🏀💪🏼

That Kolek, Pacome, Huk draft may have secured our long term future. I have a feeling that Kolek will have a career similar to Brunson where he can get to his college efficiency sometime down the line.
thats because clarkson is a better defender than kolek so they making it even. Now Clarkson is not going all out on defense either he playing decent but I seen him play harder d than that
